The story of Mission West Kitchen and Bath begins with the founding of our sister company, Mission Tile West. The idea for Mission Tile West emerged in 1984, while Mission West Kitchen and Bath co-owners Thano Adamson and his parents, John and Dina Adamson, were visiting Dina's family in Mexico. While there, they visited with Dina's brother, Tony Kyriakis, who owned a tile factory in Nogales.
Tony produced beautiful custom tile for the Mexican market, but had no one to sell his products in California.

Amazing service and very nice, upscale products. The prices are not high for the quality and mission tile is right next door. The made custom painted tiles and they were ready in two weeks. The tile workshop is located next door! The countertops, fixtures, tile, faucets, and anything we needed to remodel kitchen and bathrooms were all very nice, delivered on time and orders were all precisely accurate.

Saul was great to work with! They tried to give me someone else but she did not get my vision--he did! He helped us pick door handles, faucet/shower fixtures, toilets and sinks. We had several problems with the faucet/shower fixture manufacture but Saul was on them and got us replacement pieces within a few days to keep our construction project moving along. We have more construction projects in the near future and Saul will be my go to man!

I return and return to work with this company for many, many reasons. I loooove MW and their excellent service and unique high end items they carry and/or companies they represent. Upon completion of a project, a last minute change was made and Saul R. solved it for us within minutes. I can't thank him enough for his knowledge, expertise and ability to expedite an order that we thought would be impossible, until he took care of it. I/we highly recommend this company!

I can't believe I drove past this wonderful place for years without stopping in to investigate. Today I needed a part for my very expensive faucet which is about 14 years old. I went to the place in Pasadena where I bought it, they didn't have it. Went online and the manufacturer said they would ship it out; $50.00. Looked for some of their distributers and found Mission West.
I thought, "What the heck, it's worth a try." I walked in and was shocked by the beautiful showroom. How did I not know this place existed? Saul, the salesman took my information and said he'd get back to me. "I thought, yeah, like this little part is a priority for him." Sure enough, he emailed me the next day. Same part; $37.00. I called him back and asked why cheaper? He said they do a lot of business with the manufacturer and get a volume discount. Wow, Mission West will be my first stop from now on.

Mission West has great products and has a very professional staff. We walked in knowing close to nothing about remodeling our bathroom and had very specific requests. Alina Dopico helped us plan out all of our needs and educated us along the way. We met with her several times and were in constant communication through email. We actually did not go through with buying any products from them, due to concerns about item availability, as we requested all special orders. However, we were so happy with Alina, that we decided to leave her a review. She showed us excellent service and was so nice.

We recently purchased Omega kitchen cabinet from Mission West, while we are certainly pleased about the quality of cabinet, we are also very impressed by the professionalism demonstrated by designer Carlos Sarmiento. We changed his beatufuil initial design many times, but he did not give up on us with all our demands, each time he listened to our concerns and demonstrated warmth and humor in our correspondence.
He provided us with the changes promptly and ultimately designed a kitchen that fit our style and needs. His service is a large part of our decision to purchase our cabinet from Mission West. We will definitely be recommending Mission West to friends.

This review is for the Omega kitchen cabinet line that Mission West sells. The cabinets are touted as being top quality in craftsmanship but we ended up getting junk. We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen and ordered over $26k of cabinets from here. After waiting 7 weeks for them to be built and shipped, almost every piece arrived with paint defects, cracks/chips, streaks etc.
One cabinet had a severe crack at the joint compromising the integrity of the cabinet. The Omega rep came out to inspect the junk and he was rude and acted like he was doing us a favor in replacing some of the pieces (note that he did not replace all of the defective pieces). After waiting another 3 weeks for the replacement cabinets and doors to arrive, we discovered there really is no quality control at Omega because some of the replacements were also defective.
By this time, we have gone close to 3 months without a kitchen so we are paying a cabinet maker to fix the problems. Stay away from Omega and avoid all of the frustration and delays.

After staring at the Big Chill refrigerator for a year, including several visits to Mission West to stare longingly, I finally decided I was ready to commit and make the purchase. Mission West in South Pasadena did a great job answering my questions and talking me through the options over that year. The staff are like personal consultants and designers rather than a sales team looking to meet a sales goal.
It was a very comfortable and supportive sales experience. When it came time for the delivery, we had delays and challenges due to the transportation service but Beth at Mission West was by my side tracking down information and advocating for me along the way. Even though the fridge was delayed, this was a very positive experience and I will absolutely make future purchases through them. Thanks, Beth and Mission West!

I recently purchased a new bathtub, toilet, and vanity at Mission West. and I'm so glad I did! Shortly after the tub was installed, I noticed a small chip in it. Kathy was beyond helpful in getting it fixed. She coordinated with the bathtub manufacturer, had a repair man come fix it, and picked up the bill for the repair. I also then had some problems with the toilet I purchased. Kathy had her rep come to my house and replace the damaged part, again at no cost to me.
I can't emphasize enough how impressed I was with their customer service. They stand by their products and really care that their customers are happy. I know I never would have received this type of service if I purchased these items at a big conglomerate. It is so refreshing to know there are still small shops out their that have that personal touch. I highly recommend Mission West!

Stumbled on this gem in South Pasadena. Went looking for fixtures for the bathroom. The staff at Mission West know their stuff. They are patient, and helpful - no high pressure sales. We worked with Michelle, who was great! Knows her stuff, patient and follows thru! Very easy to do business with and they practice what they preach. Go into the restrooms and you see products in use Their displays are well planned out. They also sell tile and they have a huge selection to select from. Highly recommend this store.

Mission West Kitchen & Bath is amazing. My wife and I had been researching for a whole house water filtration system for a long time. We visited several places, researched online, had companies visit our house, etc., but I'm so happy we stopped by Mission West. Kathy first wanted to find out why we wanted a water treatment system and how we intended to use it.
If you've looked, then you know there are so many things to consider (method of purification, contaminants in the water, family allergies, water taste, whole house v undersink, kitchen only, bath/shower only, filter replacement, etc). She then discussed several different systems on the market. There was no pressure to purchase the EWS system which we purchased from Mission West.
She simply wanted to make sure we were making an informed decision and were looking at systems which would work for us. To help us, she had the EWS representative helped me look up the water quality in our area. He was the first to mention chloramine, which is a combination of chlorine and ammonia. Yep, our water provider uses chloramine. All this time I was thinking only about eliminating chlorine.
The EWS representative even called our water provider to understand the chloramine levels used on our specific are so he could recommend the right filtration system. He also asked about our water needs so he could recommend the right size tank (he recommended the smaller tank even though the literature said we would need to larger tank). There's just no way I could have purchased the right system on my own! Last, we had a problem with the system right after we installed it.
I attribute the problem to the installer. The system is not difficult to install for a DIY person who is comfortable with handling plumbing tasks, but we were remodeling so it was easier to have the crew hook up the system. Kathy and her staff jumped on the problem immediately. I received a call from the company that day. Super nice people at EWS.
They wanted to know what happened, so I wouldn't have a repeat. They shipped out a new part, walked me through how to replace the broken part (literally walked me through step by step on the phone), and problem solved. And, Kathy's staff called me several times just to make sure I was getting the help I needed. Again, because I purchased the system through Mission West, I had no concerns that I would be left on my own to solve my problem. GOTTA LOVE MISSION WEST!
