I had a great experience with Derek and MIG with installing new gutters. Not only did they do a great job with the installation but Derek has provided great customer service after installation when I had some concerns with one of the downspouts. I highly recommend!

CDL truck drivers beware. Lot is muddy, pot holes, debris, boards with nails laying around, metal rods and nails sticking up from the ground, nails and screws on the ground. Check tires before you leave. Last thing we need is a potentially deadly steer tire blowout!

MIG installed gutter guards for us in two phases. At the second installation the workers installed the guards but did not remove debris first. We called, and MIG sent the crew back to clean them out within a few days. MIG gave us good service and made good on having everything done correctly.

Beautiful glass shower door. Really finished the bathroom remodel perfectly. Office staff was super responsive with scheduling, and installation team was totally professional

The MIG Building Systems, team arrive on time, the crew was friendly and worked in a very professional matter. They reviewed the contract with me and examined the interior of the house before they started the attic insulation. I observed the process and the work was completed in three hours as stated and no short cuts where taken. I would call on them again for an estimate if I need other projects done. Their estimate was in the middle of three estimates I received and I know I chose the write company to do the work.

We had our fireplace serviced, it was having a problem, we paid $130 for this service call, they washed the glass front. The service personnel said it needed a new gas valve and that they would have Nate call us to schedule the repair, which we will pay for another $300 - $400. Nate never called, we called them 4 different times leaving messages for Nate or someone to call us back.

Nobody has ever called. They are very unreliable. My advice call someone else. Update: Just heard from MIG yesterday, more than a month after I posted my first review. Customer service is NOT their strong suit. However, I no longer wish to do business with them, I've had someone else repair my fireplace.

Thanks to MIG for their professionalism, and outstanding service! Having a small job can sometimes lead contractors away to other larger endeavors. Not MIG! They were prompt, courteous, and had my small home's gutter replaced within days of calling them. The entire team was helpful! Calls from their office personnel, all the way to working with the contractors who did the job, were enjoyable experiences. Thank you to the whole Team at MIG for caring, and doing such a wonderful job fixing my gutter!

Our town had MIG came in to do energy audit on their residents home. They blew installation in our attic and re-vented the shower fans. Well when they did this the cut into our roof but never installed flashing. Fast forward a few years and we start getting small leaks in our bathrooms. We have tried everything to figure it out. We finally found a roofer that actually found the problem & fixed it. We now have to replace a whole ceiling because of their shady work.

In 2007 Derick and his "MIG"crew did blown in insulation in the walls, ceiling and attic on my 1928 built home. The before and after difference was very dramatic and actually saved me $50-$100 or more a month in heating cost all those years that I lived there. It turned out to be a very good return on investment! I recently moved a few miles away but still stayed in East Irondequoit, I purchased a ranch house, it's more senior friendly.

I purchased this house sight unseen during the Pandemic knowing that it would need many updates, I negotiated a fair price that kept those upgrades in mind. The first project I did was to add insulation in the walls and attic which also included "air sealing" all penetrations in the first floor celing. My first choice to call was to call MIG and I was pleasantly surprised to see that Derick was still employed with MIG as an estimator and came to give me a quote.

I didn't even shop around for other estimates. The quoted price from Derick was very fair and the quality of workmanship and materials are as alway premium quality. I wanted to tackle this job first to take advantage as soon as possible to conserve energy this winter. The work was scheduled quickly and completed in a timely fashion over a few days. Siding was removed and replaced to blow in the walls, you can't even tell MIG was here.

I am planing to have electrical and plumbing work done soon, I will then will have the MIG crew come back to spray foam the rim/band joist area to completely finish insulation of my newer home.

I had a great experience with MIG. Derek came over gave a quick estimate which was fair and much less than others I had gotten (new attic insulation) and when I called to set up the appt, they were out literally the next day, first thing in the morning and had the job done in a couple of hours. I got a follow up text from Derek to make sure I was completely satisfied and happy with the work that was done. Will be getting a quote for gutters next. Thanks again MIG!

Received a free estimate that was competitive. I went with them due to their long history in Rochester. They removed old gutters and left downspouts, brackets and hardware scattered around our house. When I contacted them, they said they'd take care of it. They didn't until two weeks later when they came to install the new gutters. When they came to install the new gutters (after painting) they installed bronze gutters on a dark grey house with white wedges.

Brown wedges are readily available. When I asked about it, I was told they could come back and paint them. I had them install screens to keep leaves out and they were installed wrong so that they trapped leaves against the drip edge. Another service call to get the screens installed properly. No attention to detail. No concern for quality work, just get it done and get paid.

We've had MIG out multiple times - blown-in insulation, spray insulation, gutters, and glass shower doors. Each crew has been great and we're completely satisfied with each projects end result. Consultant Tim D. is down to earth, straightforward and very professional. Thank you, everyone, we'll be reaching out soon for the next project.

Shopping around for new gutters and downspouts. Stefanie from MIG provided an estimate. She will not return my calls, emails or text message and I have sent many. I sent a request to be contacted via MIG website and no return message or call. Never had an experience where I was ready to buy and no one would help. UPDATE: Stefanie contacted me and explained there was a lack of communication on who was servicing her pending business at MIG while she was on leave. She was apologetic, professional and sincere. I have revised my STAR rating to reflect this.

I retained MIG Services to replace and redirect my front gutters. I paid a lot of money for the work, which took 2 guys less than an hour to do. I came home to see a mess left in my driveway, and one downspout not hung so that it reached the ground. They hung it the same way the old was was attached, instead of lengthening it to touch the ground. They took the old downspouts with them including the accordion extension I had on the downspout that didn't reach the ground.

I have text the MIG contact that I coordinated the services with several times for them to bring it back to me or come back and lengthen the downspout the proper way. I also left a message with the business secretary. It's been a month and a half and several messages with getting excuses as to why they haven't been by to fix the downspout or return my downspout extension. Terrible customer service and theft on top of it.

We used MIG in 2013 to have gutter guards installed. They did a great job, and I am most particular. Aesthetically inconspicuous, gutter guards are a good product if installed correctly. MIG certainly installed them correctly because they have been keeping our gutters clear of leaves and working properly for five years now, and that's saying something because we live in a forest.

The Gutter Guards look like they were installed yesterday, so it's safe to say you can trust MIG with your gutters. You may ask why I am writing this review five years after the installation. I was calling MIG for another job and read their poor reviews. I felt I should let you know that MIG was a safe bet for us.

I had MIG come and do an estimate to convert my wood burning fireplace to gas. He said they would send me the estimate via email the next day. It never came so I called them that following week he said he would get it to me that afternoon. That was more than a month ago I never heard back from them. I took my business elsewhere. I would not recommend MIG. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOLLOW THROUGH.

I had a great experience with MIG. Josh was extremely helpful and responsive. He helped me figure out just what I needed and keep it under my budget. When performing the actual job, they were on time to perform the work and talked through everything they were doing with me while they did it. I would recommend giving Josh a call!

We hired them to remove our old gutters and install new ones before and after our house was painted. They came and removed the old ones in a timely and efficient manner. On the agreed upon date to install the new ones, they did not show up. I called the Account Manager about it and he told me about a broken down truck and unable to get to us. He then said they'd come three days later.

Same thing that day, no show, no call no gutters. Since the time of the initially planned installation, there have been two significant rain events. Our basement now has wet floors and wet walls. Poor customer service, poor work, poor show.
