Established in 1964 by Don and Nancy Weinholtz, the company originally focused primarily on the automotive glass market. However, when Don and Nancy's son Mark joined the family business in 1981, he launched a bath enclosure and shower door division in order to meet consumer demand. Then, in 1983, Don and Nancy's other son, Rich, joined the business to head up the commercial division, which specializes in automatic doors and storefronts. Daughter Beth also joined the firm full-time in 1995, as the company's treasurer.

Something as simple as cutting down our bathroom mirror wasn't so simple for the 5 places we called before we found TCG. Hannah responded to our call with, "No problem!" We drove it to them immediately and it was done perfectly the very next day. Their showroom has inspired a shower renovation, so we will be back!

Super helpful company, we ordered glass doors for our previous house and loved them. Building a brand new house and our doors our coming at the end of the month, I am super excited. Very nice staff and great customer service. I see reviews that say it is expensive and sure, but you get what you pay for and its always top quality here!

Horrible service, placed the special order two weeks before Christmas 2020. Custom shower door installed on 1-28-21, there was an issue with the sliding door. I asked the installer to verify the door was installed properly due to almost costing 3000.00. The installer responded, "I didn't force you to buy the shower door." I tried to speak with the other installer, and this guy had an attitude as well.
I called and complained, the third installer was very professional and fixed the issue. About 3000 thousand for a custom shower door and the installer stated, "I didn't force you to buy the shower door." Money doesn't grow on trees. I will never do business with this company. I can't tell you what to do, just sharing my terrible experience with this company. HORRIBLE SERVICE

I had a truly unbelievable experience with this company today. For a little background, I recently had a 7' x 4' x 1/2inch tempered glass shower wall explode into 100's of pieces when (luckily) no one was even in the room at the time. I understand that although this is not common, it does occur a small percentage of time, due to inclusions that were embedded in the glass during the manufacturing process.
I will also note that the glass is 8 years old. As Twin city did the original installation, I called them to review the situation and to get a replacement glass panel. Late last week, one of their technicians came, assessed the situation and told me he would review the issue with his manager and advise. Today, I received a quote for $1,400 to replace the glass with no other explanation. Subsequently, I called the business to discuss this with someone to see if I could get some relief on the quote since the glass broke spontaneously, with no impact or prior damage.
I was quickly transferred to a "Manager" who immediately started talking over me, wouldn't listen to what I had to say and was just totally rude. Within 30 seconds of taking the call, the manager, who had done most of the talking, hung up on me. I had not been aggressive or rude at all. I just wanted him to hear my story and see if there was anything he could do for me.
As I was quite shocked, I called him back and he continued to be totally unprofessional and rude. He ultimately told me that he didn't even want to do the job for me and that I should go somewhere else. When I asked what his name was, he said "Mark" and refused to give me his last name. He did tell me that he was the owner who I now know is Mark Weinholtz.
I can honestly say that this is the worst customer service that I have experienced in my life. If he had listened to my story, sympathized with my position and then told me that unfortunately there wasn't anything he could do for me, I would have just gotten the work done. But rather than listening, he talked over me and generally didn't care what I had to say.
The worst part of this is that this guy was the owner and treated me this way. Ultimately, I guess we did agree on one thing - Twin City Glass won't be replacing my glass shower wall. Perhaps this guy knows how to sell things to contractors and builders, but he certainly doesn't know how to talk to the end customer or to provide customer service. I am strongly recommending that you avoid doing business with this company!

Wrong glass for shower enclosure ordered and installed. It took over a year to for the reorder and installation of new glass. The installer came today, removed the enclosure but didn't have all the needed parts for the new door. We were told they'll finish.next week. No shower for a week. Nice guys but the organization lacks basic competence. Not happy.

Our contractor told us to go to Twin City Glass. Our shower door was partially installed on 12/24. I say partially because the installer told me a part was broken and it would have to be reordered. Three weeks later, still no part and still no shower door. I called to follow up a few times, to no avail. I finally asked for the owner and he was incredibly rude and told me "he was done with me and my contractor".
He refused to finish the job. The final outcome was that there was not a broken part. Twin City ordered the wrong door, and the wrong finish. We had the contractor remove the partial wall and Advanced Glass came out to remedy the situation. Best customer service from Advanced Glass. Twin City has been in business for years but i don't how with such inept people and especially the owner acting like a buffoon.

I have a broken front living room window, and I called 3 local glass repair places including twin city. the first company quoted me 490 dollars and sent me an itemized quote via email. the window was 175. the second company quoted me 400. thirdly the technician from twin city said somewhere from 400 to 500. please tell me why they just tried to charge me 900 and something dollars with NO itemized reciept needless to say I will be going w the first company that provided the itemized reciept. twin city are crooks beware!

First of all, this company always supports the community by donating to the Twin City Community Outreach Program. Seeing their quality of products there, I placed an order for a replacement glass panel for our coffee table. Not only were they speedy in getting back to me with a very affordable estimate, but they were quick in getting my order made. The quality was amazing and the customer service was just as good, especially in trying times. Thank you for meeting and exceeding my expectations.

We hired Twin City to do our frameless glass shower doors. It's taken over 6 weeks to get it installed. Once they came, two of the panels are chipped and need to be replaced. Workers came, never introduced themselves, did the job and left. Really disappointing customer service. I have two more showers to complete and also wanted large custom mirrors. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I contacted Twin City Glass in early spring to fix a broken bay window that had white grids in between the glass. The window was replaced but the grids were not measured correctly and did not line up with the other windows. The man that insulated the new window apologized and remeasured the grids. A few weeks later they came back out to install the new window again.
The grids again were off. Once again a different man measured the grids for the window and they ordered a new window. A couple of weeks ago they came back with the third window replacement (on a Saturday). This was still wrong. Three different men have measured this window. The measurements were all off. The man that came apologized and called into the office.
I spoke to a women and she apologized and told me that Twin City Glass would do something for me for all the inconveniences this has caused me. I was told someone would come out and measured the window and grids and the owner would call me on Monday. I received no call on Monday or Tuesday. I called late Tuesday and spoke to the receptionist and told her my issues.
She said she would give the message to the owner. The owner called me on Wednesday and told me he would refund me my money. I said aren't you going to fix the window. He told me no and that he doesn't like to be told that he has to accommodate a customer for this issue. First off, I was told by a couple of his employees that I would be accommodated for all three windows being wrong.
Unfortunately he didn't want to hear that and wouldn't let me speak. He told me, he thought about this twice and doesn't want to help me and would refund the money. I never received an apology for my inconvenience or anything. That is not the way you do business and I am spreading the word about this experience. Needless to say I found another company that could help me and they got the window fixed the first time around and they were cheaper.
