Martin Glass is a family owned and operated company established in 1933. Our focus continues to be customer service and safety. When shopping for a glass company, there is more to consider than just price. Windshield replacement and any other glass replacement in your vehicle requires the skill of a professional and experienced glass technician using the proper and safe installation techniques, quality glass, and installation products.
Our history begins in 1933, in the garage of the home of our founders, Martin A. and Helen Kosydor. A few years later, Martin and Helen opened a retail store in East St. Louis, IL. Martin Glass is one of the original auto glass companies in the metro east area and one of the first to offer mobile service.
Martin Glass is great. We had to get our truck windshield replaced. I called Martin Glass and they were able to come out the very next morning. They asked if the glass had tint at the top of the window. I replied "no." When they arrived they found out that it did in fact have tint at the top. They had brought the wrong window because of the information I gave them.
At Martin Glass, we can cover almost any vehicle and get you back on the road the same day. If your windshield cannot be repaired, we'll replace it for you quickly and at a price you can afford. A windshield repair is a quick and cost-effective preventative method if your glass has a small or minor chip.

They have great customer service & were able to get my windshield replaced the next day. The tech also informed me that the windshield I was replacing was not properly installed, was missing about a foot of adhesive on the driver side & it was being held on by the decorative trim in a section on the passenger side. I told him that Martin Glass did NOT do it the last time. I highly recommend Martin Glass!

Martin Glass replaced my windshield after ice came off a car and cracked mine. They were wonderful to work with. They were able to get me an appointment the next day and had my replacement in within a few hours. I highly recommend them and will be using them for all my future needs. Martin Glass was referred to me by my insurance company to replace my windshield. The people at Martin Glass were a pleasure to deal with. They were able to replace my windshield within a few days and even offered the use of a loaner car so didn't have to lose time from work. They are a local family business. I highly recommend! Martin Glass Company helped me when I had some chips in my windshield. They showed up next day to my office and had my windshield taken care of quickly. These guys are extremely professional and great to work with. They even helped with the insurance side of repairing my windshield as well. I was extremely satisfied with the install in my 69 Camaro. Sky was very instrumental in getting everything in order between the specialty glass supplier and the insurance company. Her tenacity and commitment to customer service was very impressive and appreciated. She kept me informed every step of the way as she made numerous phone calls to set everything up. Ernie installed the glass and I was extremely thankful and impressed with his knowledge, experience and attention to detail. This was my first experience with Martin Glass. Martin Glass company has always been our go to team! They are always accommodating, timely, and friendly! When our passenger window was shattered at an event, we called Martin Glass right away and they came out the next day! They have also fixed numerous cracked windshields for us over the years. The team at Martin Glass Company are fantastic! Our family purchased a building with the old fashioned steel framed factory glass windows. We wanted to keep the historical architecture of the building which included replacing the glass in each steel frame window. There were 177 panes that needed replacement and not all windows were the same size since the building was built in the 1930's. Martin cut each window to the sizes necessary and worked with us to make sure all fit properly.
The product is a beautiful reflective glass that we are so pleased they suggested. Working with this team made our rehab smooth and they are a pleasure to work with.
