For nearly 85 years Collinsville Ice & Fuel Company has been family owned and operated and providing Illinois and Missouri with high quality landscape, building materials, and custom fabricated stone. We began as a ice manufacture and coal distributor in 1932, since then we have grown to be one of the largest landscape material suppliers in the Midwest with over 15 employees some of whom are the 4th generation.

Collinsville Ice & Fuel Company currently has two locations for a combined 21 acres of natural stone, landscape and masonry material.

If you're a do-it-yourselfer stay away from this place. They are rude, unhelpful and are the last place you want to be when building a patio, porch or just looking for pavers for your sidewalk. I'm serious they are the worst I've seen in my 67-years. I have done many positive reviews and I don't give a negative review unless it is deserved.

Had a delivery scheduled for "before noon". Placed the order with a gentleman that introduced himself to me as an owner. My rock didn't show up by noon so I called. Turns out the owner didn't put "before noon" on the order ticket. Had a crew sitting around with no material.

We wanted top soil for a garden. Ended up with approx 2 tons (we think) of a 'clay type' soil Should have cancelled when questions arose, that's our bad, but now we know better- DO NOT RECOMMEND.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Came in to purchase rock guy was very rude and acted like he didn't want to speak to us wouldn't give any detail or advice on how to purchase. This place sucks instead go up the street to there competitor way better at friendly customer service!

I saw an advertisement for this company on TV late at night and stopped by to look for some pavers for a patio I am planning on installing at my house. Staff seemed uninformed and disorganized. Selection was disappointing and the manager/owner acted less than thrilled to be there. It was about what I expected from a company advertising late at night on public broadcasting. I recommend Sonnenberg Landscaping Materials which is close by. Staff are helpful and polite and their selection is much more extensive and organized.
