Wait a second. Scissors this classic, this useful, this simple, made right in Sweet Home, Oregon? You read me there -- MADE IN SWEET HOME! Why aren't these on every Made in Oregon gift store, gift list, every stocking for every person over 6, every Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa? Fishing to sewing to camping, to those annoying little strings you have coming off your made in Honduras shirt?
No love lost on Honduras. But these are being stamped right there in a tired but awesome Quonset hut off US 20 that once served as a lumber place, as befitting a lumber town. I would do free marketing for these folks for days. The product is so great. They sell them at the Ace in Sweet Home or Dan Dee Sports. Support those places too! In short, you could not ask for a better product AND story in one little bit of metal.
Do yourself a favor, drive to Sweet Home, check out the place of manufacture as an homage to things made truly in America. And then head over to Dan Dee or Ace and pick up a half dozen to give away over the next six months.
