Toscanini's Ice Cream has a glass all shattered. Wallex was amazing. They had the best and lowest bid. They replace the wall within a few weeks and installed it quickly as well. I would recommend these guys over anybody else. More windows to come.

I am a Realtor and had a seller with three broken seal windows in need of repair to satisfy the requirements of the buyers of the home. At the time, this was the last thing my clients needed to deal with. I ordered two glass replacement windows (they were under warranty), of which one of the windows came in the window frame. Another window was off the garage and and I hired Wallex to order and install that glass.

After two weeks of warranty documentation (original payment, supplier, installer, etc. from 2007), eleven weeks later the windows arrived. 11 weeks! It was too late to be completed by the home sale closing so the closing attorney required that we put down a large sum of money to guarantee the installations would be completed. I then added the warrantied windows to the garage window order. Wallex's technician came out to the home the day of hire to look at all three existing windows.

After the warrantied windows arrived from the manufacturer, Wallex stated they had a cancellation and completed the repairs at 9:00 the next morning. WOW! The install was done quickly, well and flawlessly. Stacie, the Office Manager, tracked the whole order and coordinated the installation with the new owners and her staff. If you need glass work done, GO TO WALLEX! You will not regret it. They are kind, honest, professional and zero drama. Their work is superior and they can be trusted!

Working with Wallex Glass was the easiest part of our bathroom renovation. Chris quickly drafted a drawing of shower glass options for our oversized shower. Not only did he give us great advice on how to ensure our framing was prepared properly for a seamless installation, but he also advised us on how to properly tile the shower to avoid extra notches in the glass which saved us money in the long-run.

They are super professional, very easy to communicate with, scheduled measuring and installation promptly and the end result is a gorgeous shower that is exactly what I had envisioned and hoped for.

These guys are fantastic. I had a new glass shower door installed which required some finessing. They were responsive and communicated quite well. After the install I noticed that the door needed some tweaking. They were quick to respond and resolve the minor issue. I'm very happy we selected Wallex Glass Co. Thank you.

Chris was very helpful making sure we picked out the right product and arranged for a potentially tricky installation for a big piece of glass. They were patient while we completed some other work & then very quick when we were ready to go. The installers were also quite thorough, professional & clean. It was a great experience from start to finish.

I found myself in the terrible condition of having a broken window (1 of the 2 panes were broken), in the middle of winter. I called around - everyone was vague in their estimate. As it was my porch window, I could not be without it for fear of theft, and my house being utterly cold! I used the Yelp feature that emails the business, and the general manager, Chris I., called me and left a super friendly message.

I then called back, and got a quote of $170 from Stacie, the office manager, based on my rough estimate of the size. The best part - Wallex would order the glass - after I brought it in the be properly sized - they let me take the window home for the 7-10 business days it would take to order the glass. Then, only 6 days later, they called me and I brought it in @ 9 am, and had it back by 3 pm.

Though the final price was $200, this was only $30 more, and that was with me giving them the window measurements. All in all, it is expensive to break a window, regardless of who fixes it, but Chris and Stacie were awesome. They followed up w me extensively, and I felt so comfortable working with them. While they are a high end glass company (for offices, homes, and the like) they were happy to help me with my window - instead of the corner Ace Hardware that wanted to keep it for 2 weeks! Great experience. Chris and Stacie are so friendly and helpful. Thank you guys so much!

Chris at Wallex Glass was very helpful. We had a special situation that only Wallex would handle: the seals in our 20+ year old garden window had deteriorated over time and the glass gradually became clouded. Instead of being a focal point for our kitchen, the window became an eyesore. We researched buying and installing a replacement window, but we could not find the 'right' one, plus it would have been a big project, with time for ordering the product plus lining up a carpenter, etc.

We had used Wallex in the past for a custom set of atrium windows and so gave them a call. Chris sent out an installer to measure, quoted us a reasonable price, ordered the replacement glass, received and delivered the glass panes, and had them installed in our existing window frame - all inside of a few weeks time. Our window looks like new!

My father and I recently stopped into Wallex for a custom cut mirror as part of a wedding gift. After getting the mirror back, it fit perfectly in the handmade frame that we built! When cleaning the mirror, we found a small cloudy spot and returned it to Wallex to show to Chris. Chris had cut a new mirror and had it back to us in 2 hours as he knew there was a deadline for the gift the next day. Great service and would absolutely go back again for other custom pieces!

Needed a shower door replaced and some tile work done. We needed it done pretty quickly and they worked with us on a crazy schedule and did a super job. We were thrilled with the work and the timetable.

I have worked with many glass companies over the years with success on most normal needs: broken windows, glass shelves and things like that. My wife and I are remodeling our forever house. In a store I was in, there was a mirror with the sconces cut right into the glass. In our new bathroom was a 12 foot wall that was in need of a beautiful mirror.

I called 5 local glass companies. The answers I got were "the glass is too long, we can't transport glass that long". "We can't cut holes in glass that big" we can't deliver to the third floor" "we can make it look good with 3 panes of glass". My wife said "give it up". Then I called Wallex. After I described what I wanted. She said "we can do that.

When do you want it? She could tell I was over the moon. The only thing you need to do is hire a Crane company which I did. Of course they didn't show. No show no call. Dean, the owner said " let's do this! The 5 of us roped it up to the third floor. He could have easily have walked away. He stayed with me and finished the job perfectly. Thank you Wallex. I bought an expensive wall mirror from them and some years later needed to remove it for a remodeling project. I visited their store and was told that they would call me with a quote. I called twice more and each time I was told that they would get back. Never happened. I have never experienced such deliberate poor service. There are lots of alternative vendors and I would never use these people again.

The person I dealt with was very nice, and very helpful. I received a quote for my small job in less than 24 hours. I was quoted $224.40. I got exactly the same thing done someplace else for $40. Thus, Wallex was over priced by over 560 percent! The only reason I would recommend going to this place would be for a quote that would make you feel very good about getting your job done wherever else you go.

Both times I've used this company the glass took 2x as long as they said it would take. I had a glass coffee table top made, and after a botched first try, I finally got it over a month later. You would think a company would go out of its way to make up for a wrong doing, but after I complained all they said was "I'm really sorry". I thought they would have offered some sort of customer service gesture, but they didn't.

As a side note, I immediately used Arlmont Glass Co to replace some glass in a door, and not only did they come out the same day I called to give an estimate, the glass was replaced just 2 days after ordering it. They were very courteous and professional. I'll be sending my business to them from now on.
