We're not just another stone company. We are an award-winning team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about natural stone. Founded in 1987 by Tom Kilfoyle, United Marble Fabricators is New England's preeminent natural stone company; a second-generation family-owned and operated business offering a complete range of natural stone and tile solutions for the luxury home.
We travel the world in pursuit of the finest natural stones hand-selecting and importing distinctive materials of the highest quality. All of our material is conveniently co-located with our fabrication facility in Watertown, MA to provide a true single source for your natural stone experience. Our team of experienced Designers and Engineers have rich backgrounds in architecture, interior design, and spatial planning. With natural stone as our medium, we expertly envision and create stunning surfaces that push the boundaries of dimensional stone design.
Gone are the days of the cookie-cutter highly polished speckled granite slabs adorning every newly crafted space. Today there are more choices of natural stone than ever before. If you are in the middle of a home design project, chances are you have seen the names quartzite and quartz both mentioned as on-trend luxury materials to use for countertops and surfacing.
I have been working with United Marble for more than twenty years and have never been disappointed with the finished product on any of our many projects. Tom Kilfoyle and his professional staff have continuously provided my clients and me with outstanding service and product selection. Working with United Marble for all my stone and tile needs enhances my presentation and, more importantly, my reputation as a custom homebuilder.

This marble company came highly recommended to me, so I'm writing this review so that the owner will hopefully see it and realize their showroom sales staff is turning customers away. Literally refusing to meet or place an order. Hopefully they get this fixed. I was told they would be on the more expensive side but that I would be happy with them.
I stopped by the show room and was told everything was by appointment only due to COVID. So the next day I called and asked for an appointment. I informed her that I had my color swatches for my kitchen and bathroom, an architect drawing, and the square foot measurements for the countertops. The sales lady instructed me to visit their website and pick out what i wanted.
I responded that I had all the size information, and the colors I was looking to match that I needed to look at samples and some help picking out a piece of granite/quartz. She again referred me to the web site and said she could not schedule any appointments. There are so many less expensive options if I'm going to go online shopping. If I want the Wayfair shopping experience I am not paying boutique prices.
I am not spending thousands of dollars on granite and quartz based on a web site photo. I have since taken my business elsewhere to small no frills shop where the owner was super eager to help me out and show me samples, and even work with me to find a piece even though they didn't have it in stock. In retrospect I had a better shopping experience at Floor and Decor than at United Marble.

Terrible install service despite being assured many times they could complete this job. Paid top dollar for absolutely terrible install. The Stone was gorgeous and I trusted the wrong company to work with it. Don't make the same mistake. After seeing pictures they didn't even have the decency to offer any compensation.

When I met John and the crew at United Marble I was so glad to finally have found a high-end marble company with the capability to execute my projects with precision and efficiency. They have a HUGE selection on slabs on site. The only other place we found that had on site slab selection was a large shop, where my project would just be treated as a number among other jobs.
I've been in the industry a long time, and I know that with the type of projects we complete it is impossible for a large marble company like that to give my projects the attention to detail they deserve. United Marble has the staff, equipment, material and knowledge to knock it out of the park time and time again. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My husband and I completed a kitchen renovation in the Fall of 2016 and we knew immediately the only place we would work with in obtaining and installing our granite counters would be United Marble for a few reasons. First and foremost, the quality of the work provided is unmatched in the industry. Additionally, United Marble has the highest standards for communication and respect for the scheduling needs of their customers. Lastly, the attention to detail and strive for perfection is extraordinary.
United Marble was so responsive to all of our questions and walked us through every aspect of the renovation making us feel confident in our decision making. They were dependable when the time came to execute the install and were respectful of our house and cleaned up after they completed the work. United Marble also made sure on numerous occasions that we were satisfied with the work and we knew if any issues arose, we would be taken care of. We whole heartedly recommend United Marble Fabricators without hesitation for any stone or tile work.

I am a general contractor and I have been working on several projects with this family owned company over the past 17 years. Their workmanship is flawless and their attention to details is of the highest level. They have always honored their delivery time - which in this business is most important because of the scheduling of the other trades/phases in a kitchen or a bathroom renovation - as well of taking care of some of the most difficult and demanding installations.
The company owners and the employees are courteous, capable and always have gone the extra length to help when it was needed. Their price range is very reasonable and certainly less that some other fabricators that I have worked with as well in the past at the demand of the residence renovation owners. I highly recommend this company and I will keep working with them when ever I have a choice. Jacques Pardo JP Renovations Inc.
I am puzzled with the - anonymous - review above (written 6 years ago). Perhaps he was referring to the showroom that they use to run on Arsenal street - they don't anymore since a couple of years ago at least - but even so I cannot understand why is this person complaining. It looks to me that the sales person was doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing: give you some space and some time to look but be there to answer when you have a question!
