There is a guy on that place where they got the wood that give you a very bad costumer service

This place is not diversity friendly the guys in the warehouse and the forklift operators seem to on the racist side and they treat people rude based on their skin color I have been there a couple of times and both times I had a bad experience with those people approach this place with caution or try to avoid it.

I waited 3+ hours to get my trailer unloaded and only had 3 other trucks in front of me. They lolly-gag around with 1 forklift to unload trucks when they have multiple lift operators working at a time. Yard crew, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL. They care nothing about the driver that travels hundreds of miles time and only worries if the freight in delivered the day of! I'll never deliver here again.

Placed a smallish order (around $1,000) b/c I heard from others that independent lumber yards generally provider higher quality lumber & service vs. the big box home improvement centers. The price was competitive to other lumber yards (higher than big box providers), but unfortunately a lot of the stock I got was really warped, twisted, and/or in rough shape (e.g. cracked, weathered, etc.).

They did exchange the items I brought back, but the quality overall was still mediocre. In the end, I should have just gone to HD and picked through the big piles myself since I had to go through the headache and time of exchanging my lumber at Waltham Lumber anyways. Also, I asked Waltham if they could give a discount for the 2 hours of job time I had to waste by returning product & waiting for exchanges (they wouldn't deliver replacements b/c they were "too busy").

They said they'd give me a small discount, but then never did. I called twice, but refund never showed up. I'm all for paying a premium for good products & service (if you actually get good products/service), but it's just frustrating when you pay a premium and feel like you received a subpar product (and wasted your time). Because my order was small, I definitely got the feeling I didn't matter much to Waltham Lumber. Anyway, looks like they won't be getting my large order when I remodel my house this fall.

This is a first rate company that's been around for a long time. They really know the business and sell quality building materials at a fair price. Their sales and delivery personnel are knowledgeable and professional. They go the extra mile to service their customers.
