We specialize in rapidly designing and producing high quality workholding devices. Typical projects may include design and creation of collets, chucks, hydraulic arbors, mandrels, tombstone fixtures, or machining center fixtures - products designed to hold objects for machine tool processes. While we welcome single piece orders, we routinely design and produce multiple fixtures with interchangeable components.

When possible, we design with versatility in mind so the fixtures you are requesting can be flexible in case you need to expand in the future.
For over seven decades, companies in industries like agriculture, earth moving, and mining, as well as major automotive companies and automotive tier-one suppliers, have trusted Drewco to design and build the chucks that hold their parts. Unlike other chuck providers, where custom chucks are a small part of their off-the-shelf businesses, we clean sheet our chuck designs to your workpiece and production requirements. They can be mounted vertically, horizontally, or inverted. Activation methods include manual, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic.
Drewco manufactures custom arbors and mandrels. Drewco's arbors offer the repeatability and accuracy needed to locate and hold your work. Our arbors and mandrels are also frequently used in gear production, inspection, machining, and assembly applications. In addition to designing and building arbors, Drewco can extend the life of your arbors by refurbishing our own arbors and those of other manufacturers.
