My granddaughter recently acquired a mid 90'd travel trailer called "Forest River" in good shape. We need a manual. Called the only number (sales) for that brand shown on the "contact us" website and was told I would need to know the manufacture name to proceed. Hello? Forest River? The sales rep tells me there are 100's of independent Forest River manufacturers and I would need to know that name. Forrest River. Absolutely zero help.

I bought a new 2019 Dynamax Isata 4 a few years ago. A very nice RV. However, one or both of my holding tanks were having major leak issues when the tanks were more than half full. It took a couple maintenance visits to isolate the problem as a tank entry pipe separation issue. Fixed the black water tank while RV was still under warranty, and was paid for by Forest River.
Used RV after that repair, and it was obvious the grey water tank was having the same issue. Went back to service center for further repair, and though RV was now out of warranty, Forest River stepped up and paid for the repair without hesitation. Thank you Colleen Adams, the Forest River rep, for your help and kindness! And thank you Forest River! Brian Perry

We were basically sold a lemon by Forest River about six months ago. We have had problems with this fifth wheel from the very beginning. Our major issues are: Trailer brakes not working, freshwater tank is leaking, heater blows cold air, water is leaking in from the power connection, kitchen and door slide leaks when it rains/snows, carpet and flooring gets soaked and is now starting to cause mold, and the shower drain leaks into storage.
Other issues include: The couches are now starting to rust because of the water leak, slide out molding on door slide has started to come off, curtain holders are broken, all shelves are falling apart above the TV and the ones next to the couch, front closet shelf has collapsed in the master bedroom, under the sink cover in the bathroom is cracked, the trim throughout the RV has or is coming off, the recliner chairs are broken, the windows constantly fog up and condensation happens throughout the whole RV, the TV is broken because of the magnet being too strong, all light fixtures have sawdust in them, the stove top needs replacing, light fixtures are falling off, outside sink had to be capped because of leaking, the USB charger on wall next to closet door doesn't work, shower door handle is broken, the middle step is loose, floor creeks on door slide out, shower drain leaks into storage, and little to no cold air comes out of the bunk and bunk room AC.
Now we have tried to contact Forest River on multiple occasions and they keep giving us different numbers to call saying it's not their department or their problem. They said they can't help us. Forest River told us to call a mobile tech and we still have not received reimbursement for that. From the employees we've dealt with so far from Forest River, they definitely lack pride in themselves and their product.
We want answers not excuses. We are tired of hearing, "well it's an earthquake on wheels". This many problems should not be happening to such a new RV in such a short amount of time. We bought an RV from a dealership that said they had faith in this product but that product has fallen short of its promise, its promise in craftsmanship and customer service.
Forest River's promise is "to help all of our owners enjoy their RV experience to the fullest". How can we enjoy ourselves if we have to put the slides in when it rains, or watching the mold grow under the carpet from prior leaks? Forest River also states, "we have a passion for the great outdoors and want to enable our owners to experience all the beauty that Mother Nature has to offer.
That is why we build quality, dependable recreational vehicles." That statement is far from the truth from what we are having to deal with. Is there no quality of workmanship anymore? Is there no pride in one's self? Is there no customer concern? Are we all just numbers to them or money in the bank? This is our temporary home while we are waiting for our house to be built.
We cannot just "take it in for service". Forest River won't pay for a hotel room, and our extended warranty only pays for 5 days. According to different service departments we've spoken with, they are months out waiting for Forest River to approve a warranty ticket. Also the service departments are waiting months just for parts to be sent. When will Forest River take responsibility for what's going on? We want this company to make right of what is wrong.

At my wits end with No Boundaries by Forest River. On Sep 17th, while coming off a 2,000 mile road trip to Yosemite, the rhino rack with tent and awning ripped off my No Bo 10.6 trailer, did 4 frisbee turns in the air and came crashing down into the fast lane of I93 between Las Vegas and Kingman. The weight alone (roughly 500 lbs.) would've killed anyone driving behind me. Luckily it didn't and skidded into the emergency lane.
The lack of concern from the manufacturer has me stymied. I've been told it was a manufacturing defect but am unable to get any phone calls or emails back from their warranty/service department. This was installed at the manufacturer. I need to make sure all owners of a No Boundaries 10.6 trailer is aware of this as I do not believe any type of recall or notice has gone out from Forest River.
Short of getting on a plane for Goshin, IN and sitting on their doorstep, I'm going to now blast this on Social Media. Please share as much as possible. I've also contacted 3 On Your Side, a Phoenix TV station that helps in situations like this. Not alot of pics but thankfully a very nice couple pulled over to help us load it into the back end of my truck. I've pretty much lost any confidence that this won't happen again as I've seen no proof of any root cause/corrective action. Again, please share! Update to this post: After 3 months of the worst customer service I have ever experienced with No Boundaries by Forest River, I decided to go talk to my salesman Tom's Camperland - Mesa.
He was blown away by what I had experienced. In an effort to make things right, he gave me back full price on the No Bo 10.6 and gave me a great deal on my new T@B 400 Boondock. My nightmare is over. Although Forest River never seemed to care that their product could have killed someone, Tom's Camperland in Mesa did a great job resolving my issue. Adding pics of my new home away from home. Can't wait for my first adventure in it.

Bought a brand New Georgetown Gt7 32j 2021 model, Worst experience of our lives so far! Warranty nightmare! Loose trim, Inoperative appliances, propane leak in the furnace flooding the coach with raw propane, poorly routed wiring, water tank siphons out while driving, the dry coach is too heavy for the suspension causing it to ride on the bump stops and giving us an extremely rough ride, the fit and finish of this coach is horrible, the list goes on and on.
We spent an extreme amount of money on this coach only to have devastating disappointments and to be put off by the selling dealership ( De Martini RV ) and lack luster response from Forest River.

This is my first purchase of a camper and won't be my last. I will definitely be upgrading and will definitely not be looking at a Forest River. I purchased a Clipper 9.0TD with V-Pkg used with just 3 trips taken and the screen room only put up once. Besides the poor quality of the camper (not original owner's fault) that includes too small of screws to hold in pump-it fell off, to screws not being all the way screwed into the wood under the bed, bed platform poorly designed, the plumbing not installed correctly which caused it to fail, to the extremely poor quality of the screen room.
A horrible experience and product for a first time buyer. Also, General RV, where the original owner purchased it, has also been terrible. There are plenty of manufacturers out there, so I have plenty to choose from. All their customer service said was "sorry."

If I could give this unit zero stars I would. Paid cash for 2021 Arctic Wolf 3880 Suite. Delivered May 17 2021, 94 miles, and unit started to fall apart on towing. Underbelly hanging down, other parts of under belly shredding apart, both axles bent, LED front lights & solar do not work, water up in the tongue, pop up trim hanging down on ground, awning does not close all the way so it can't be towed, caulking gooped all over, fenders loose, trim loose, trim too short in several places or too long so beveled trim or pieces spliced in, door frames and outdoor cabinet frames not squared, metal cable on 2 pop ups coming apart, one pop out is beveled, screen door won't stay closed, 2 closet doors are broken, no caulking around base of shower, thermostat fell off the wall, plastic fitting came off and were on the floor, fridge and entry door has dents, maybe 20 more things damaged from the manufacturer and tons of cosmetic issues. Notified the dealer and Forest River immediately upon delivery and 6 weeks later nothing is resolved. 30 phone calls, several emails, 24 one minute videos, 40 still photos, and I am still fighting with them.
From day one I asked for refund or replacement but they want to repair it. No one will guarantee in writing that the unit is safe from propane, water, or electrical issues that may cause and accident, injury, or death or that they will take 100% responsibility for this. Unit is a lemon and has so many defects. Shoddy on the outside with horrible workmanship, shoddy on the inside and who knows what is inside the frame?
Forest River is not taking any responsibility for this and putting it on the dealer. Now I have to pay several hundred $$$ to tow it back to the dealer and they want to fix it. And I just found out no one will tow it because the awning won't close all the way and is tearing apart. And it has to go on a flat bed.a 5th wheel on a flat bed, ok I don't know how that is done?
So I am out $70,000 cash, that is all we had in savings, the unit is not usable, and the unit is falling apart. Even the electrician came out to put a 50 amp in for the RV stated, "what a piece of junk!" It is sitting on my ranch a as a decoration. I do not recommend this brand at all and I am super sad the Forest River did not stand behind their product.
It is a piece of junk and if I wanted a trailer with defects, I would have saved $40K and bought a used unit. DO NOT BUY Forest River brands as they do not stand behind their products!

Since we purchased our trailer in November 2020 it had been in the shop off and on more than we had it. It started with ramp not level and water coming in, then a busted pipe in bathroom. We noticed nail holes on roof and outside walls due to poorly made and poor inspected. The slide out was not secure or sealed property, all the tires were bad, some were already separated.
A most importantly now the floors were not laid correctly, it has been in the shop for 4 months waiting to be repaired. We will never buy another forest river product. I can tell the service department people are trying to help but it seems like they have such a influx of bad campers being made that their repair shops are over run with need for repairs.
We have missed the whole summer with our camper. It is such a disappointment for our family and a big loss of time and money for us. Our camper when in the shop on February 6 and is now at the second repair shop. We are so sad that we are making payments on something we have not been able to enjoy.

We purchased a new East to West Silver Lake trailer and have had nothing but issues with it and Camping World has been less than kind. From the plumbing being backwards camping world knew and didn't repair it to pump going out new electrical cord outlet bent awning now the refrigerator needs to be replaced and I was charged for warranty. The outside walls have warped and my inside wall all popped out at each seam. My unit will be fix and sold ASAP

We are a retired couple, and have been RVing for 40 years. We purchased our last fifth wheel, a 2018 Cedar Creek Silverback 35IK fifth wheel. This is our fifth RV, and our last. The coach layout and product is excellent. It is stored under cover and waxed yearly. The front Cedar Creek decals, and two other decals on the rear slides are also coming off.
Now I do understand things go bad, but three decals not installed properly does not make sense. I got in contact with the Consumer division and spoke with Kathryn, she is GREAT.Her boss the so called direction of the consumer division Steve Hall, is a different story. I have left 10 phone messages and countless emails. Not a single call or email. Then he called and left me a message.
I have tried to return the call no avail. I did receive a call from Kathryn and she said Mr. Hall is offering a ONE TIME CONCESSION because the $50K coach is out of warranty. I replied " I do not want your charity" and will purchase the decals. Now I am not able to get a return call from the parts department? We owned 4 other fifth wheels, and NEVER had an issue with decals, other than some fading.
I am really surprised that Forest River, who spends millions on marketing and advertising, wants a billboard going down the highway, to have bad products. To bad. I would not purchase again. Good Luck

I purchased a 2020 R-Pod three months ago and I must say it has been the most disappointing purchase I have made in the last ten years. The laundry list of issues that have soaked up my summer usage with a long stay at the dealer will now be repeated as the sewage hose has broken off of my coach and shattered all over the freeway for the 2nd time.
Also talk about a safety and environmental issue with parts flying off and raw sewage going onto the motorway. List of issues include: -Trim pieces falling off on interior -Sewer Hose fell of chassis (2x) -Electrical cord to trailer is fraying -Tongue jack goes through fuses often -Multiple cabinets doors were installed incorrectly and have had to be straighten so they will latch -Debris falls from the ceiling where the tv cables are and in the shower -Front door wasn't latching correctly This all equals multiple summer trips ruined from a brand new trailer. Unbelievably disappointing and truly concerns me about Forest River.

Excitedly purchased our first rv 2021 Primetime Tracer on December 4, 2020. Took it back to the dealer a week later on December 11, 2020. It was brand new with a LEAK. Had rusted nails in the ceiling even some of the wood was rusted. We took pictures and video taped the consistent leak. We bought a new rv to avoid leaks. The gen manager the salesperson and service manager, and even the manufacturers rep Sara H wereall very nice and good listeners.
All were advocating for us however to no avail. My question was why the dealership did not hold the manufacturers accountable but they all chose to make A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT OUR PROBLEM. We requested that they allow us to make an even trade for a new camper with no leaks. We spoke several times with the gen manager Rob and Sara however their final decision today January, 12, 2021 was that they would allow us to trade that brand new camper but we would absorb the depreciation costs.
In spite of the leaks and rusted areas. We were told they fixed the leak however no additional extensive work was done behind the walls or the flooring in the walls Bottom line we honored our end of the bargain and trusted the dealership and manufacturers to give us a new camper. We put our trust that they would stand behind their product.

Never Again will I buy a NEW RV from this company, nor will I purchase anything from San Antonio RV. We've had nothing but problem after problem with this thing. The warranty work went on for over 3 months and they only fixed a couple of things. We needed the RV before it was finished and I think that's what they count on.

This company is a joke. We bought our Gre Wolf in July with the intention of living in the RV full time for a year. We made this clear when we bought it. Our fridge went out 6 months later under warranty. We called the forest River service locations, and they all told us they were booked out for 2 to 3 months. We called a mobile RV service on our own dime, and they told us the fridge was bad, however, I noticed how easy it was to install.
I called Forest River hoping for some help with my problem and that maybe they could just give me a new fridge to install myself, they said I shouldn't be living in an RV in the first place and they can't help me at all. The customer service is a complete joke. I have to buy a fridge myself now to have a working camper. This company is terrible

Similar to other customer reviews, the only way to comment is to choose at least one star. If the option of choosing none were available that would be most suitable for this manufacturing company. My experience has been the most stressful, to say the least. But those who are thinking of doing business with forest river dealerships deserve a detailed list of problems they could potentially face.
My experience (a purchase of a NEW 2021 Brookstone coachmen fifth wheel): the first mistake was forgetting to install a rubber ring around the base of the toilet so upon flushing, water would leak from the base; the button to activate the awning was installed in reverse so it would not perform according to the label; the refrigerator cooling fan stopped working and the installation of the plug to allow the fridge to work was not properly made so when plugged in the metal did not align causing the fridge to shut off and spoil food- when the fridge shut off it tried to switch to propane which used up the tanks causing us to refill earlier than needed; the flush tank was also not properly installed so when used the hoses within the rig pinched and would not allow water to flush out the tanks; they did not properly install the drain to the shower so upon use the shower would leak as well (the dealership could not figure out these issues upon inspection but when a mobile repairman was hired he quickly figured it out); the kitchen faucet was also not properly installed so when used pressure build up caused the faucet to crack and leak (all due to the installation placement); the awning shock stopped working so the awning could not extend on its own.
These issues could not be attended to at the dealership because they were booked months out. Upon many attempts to communicate with Forest River customer service and management they finally agreed to reimburse me for a mobile repairman that could make the fixes. After these repairs and providing them with the invoice they claimed they could not cover a service fee (which they apparently forgot to mention).
To avoid a VERY stressful experience, read through all of the reviews and make your own educated decision on doing any business with Forest River. I highly recommend NOT doing any business with them. Their products are not quality and are not reliable. Their customer service is the WORST I have ever experienced. Their communication is unreliable. The only guarantee you have with Forest River is a poorly manufactured RV and a company that does NOT care about their customers. They will NOT take responsibility for THEIR mistakes.

I want on the band wagon too of warning anyone I can about this company! I was so excited to buy my 2020 R-Pod trailer earlier this year (pre-Covid) and was fortunate enough to take it on ONE adventure! I've been dying to take it on a second adventure as the weather has been perfect. Unfortunately, I have not been able to use it for the last 3 months because it has been in the repair shop.
Forest River has refused to communicate with myself or with the dealer to get what is a simple fix for a specialized part that is known to break. Not to mention, that all of this is covered under warranty. Had I known that Forest River customer service was so subpar, I would have gone with any of the other many options out there. I would NOT recommend buying from Forest River if you actually intend on using your trailer.

I would NOT recommend buying from Forest River if you actually intend on using your trailer.

Junk campers / Rv with little to no dealer help on a brand new unit! Great quality control FR and Pete's Rv south Burlington Vt for catching this hacked garbage prior to selling to me as a brand new unit. We will never think about using FR nor dealer for future purchases as this is absolute junk. Thanks for telling me to call around for Mobil units but pretty sure that should be on you! Can you say junk, try any other brand

People are quick to complain and write negative reviews the moment things don't go their way. I'm of the mindset that your review doesn't count unless you've given a business a second chance. My first Forest River product was a 2019 295QBLE Surveyor pull behind TT. In the year that we had that camper not a single thing went wrong.
The dealership that we purchased from did a thorough walkthrough even before we did the final walkthrough. We loved that camper but decided to upgrade to a toy hauler. My next Forest River was a 2021 325PACK13 Wolf Pack 5th wheel. I purchased from out of state this time because I wasn't able to find one locally. I was unable to do a walkthrough because of the distance.
Upon delivery right off the bat I found issues that should've been found at the dealership. Simple things like antifreeze not emptied out of all of the pipes even though we were told it was 100% dewinterized. I've seen a sample of a dealership checklist that is used before delivery and even before a final walkthrough. There were at least 10 items on the list that were obviously never checked before I received this camper.
I wasn't angry with Forest River/Wolf Pack at this point. I was angry with the dealership for allowing this product to be delivered to the customer without a thorough walkthrough. Several failed attempts to find a resolution with the dealership left me at a loss. The dealership seemed to shrug their shoulders at me as though it wasn't really their problem now that it was in my hands.
I reached out on a Wolf Pack owners page on social media. When Forest River-Wolf Pack learned of the problems I was having, my whole world changed. A Forest River-Wolf Pack representative (Jason Berges) contacted me immediately and got the ball rolling on fixing each issue. Mr. Berges never made me feel like "just another customer with problems". The level of customer service I've received has proven to me there is no other brand I will ever purchase from again. Thank you Forest River-Wolf Pack and thank you Mr. Berges.

I I wouldn't give them 1 star but its the only way I could comment. We bought a brand new 2019 Columbus in 2018 and what a joke. The stove wasnt even hooked up, the vent for the refrigerator wasnt even cut through the rubber lining. The washer flooded the first time I used it because they didnt remove the the cover for the washer hose line (its used to keep mice and such out) the slides leaked the window in the bedroom still leaks and we've had it looked by 6 different repair places and they scatch their heads at the sloppy workmenship they did in building this RV never everveill I ever recommend anyone buy a Forrest River product.

Shasta seems to not care about their customers. We bought a new 2017 Shasta Revere that after less than 1 year and only two short trips the brakes failed. It has been in the shop for a couple weeks now and Shasta is saying they are not going to cover the repairs under warranty. It seems that Shasta will find any reason not so support their customers and I am going to assume that this is all Forest River products as well from what I read on-line from other people. I would suggest never buying another Forest River product and instead look at the Keystone or Jayco campers if you are in the market

We are very pleased with our Flagstaff Ultra Lite Travel Trailer. We had 1 of the fixed doors of our shower door broke and the glass shattered into million pieces. They sent us the whole shower door assembly but unfortunately the wrong door was sent. They sent us a second set of door shower which hopefully is the right one (haven't installed it yet). Deb from Forest River was very nice and they are very helpful to get our problem solved.
They stuck with us until we got the right door assembly. Covered it all under our warranty. Couldn't be more pleased and satisfied with this company. Thank you so much! We are enjoying our home away from home!

How long would you expect a simple warranty issue to take for a repair? Well, for me.it's been pushing four months. I'm told that it's been approved, then I'm told they are waiting on part numbers, then I'm told they are waiting on parts. Granted some of these issues are at the local incompetent dealer level, but some are definitely the fault of a corporation that simply does not care. I won't buy another forest river product again.

I purchased a new 2018 Coachman Prism Class C Motor home in Florida where I reside, with a one year new vehicle warranty on the coach. I expect, like most RV owners, I use my coach outside the neighborhood of the selling dealer. I traveled from my home to Vermont to camp for the summer. During this travel I experienced 2 problems that are covered under the warranty. ( slide problems and the radio does not shut all the way down after vehicle is turned off and runs the chassis battery dead when stored ) There have been other problems that I corrected myself.
I was shocked to learn that Forest River dealers are not obligated to perform warranty work on units that they have not sold new. So unfortunately, I am finding out that the dealers refuse to do the work, something about not being reimbursed for the actual total time it takes to correct the problem(s) I did find one dealer who was willing to do the warranty work as long as I obligated myself, before the work was started, to pay the difference. Quite the warranty huh? You might want to rethink buying a new RV from Forest River.that of course is if you plan to travel with it.

Bought a 2018 19HFS. Got it home and none of the 110 outlets work except the GFI in the bathroom. My camping trips now consist of extension cords and trip hazards inside my coach. Can't get it repaired at the local dealer for months since I didn't buy it from them. Forest River customer service sucks too. All I get from them is a shoulder shrug. Also my light switches are wired wrong.
You can only use the outside load lights if all the inside lights are on as well. $25,000 piece of junk. Sorry I bought it, mainly because of the HORRIBLE WARRANTY AND DEPLORABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE after the sale.
