Priced around several different places in several different cities. After factoring in cost of delivery to San Bernardino, La Cadena was still the best all around value. Converted my front yard into drought tolerant landscaping, so needed 7 scoops of Palm Springs DeeGee & 1/2 scoop/yard of some pretty rock for accent. Customer service was excellent, helped me calculate exactly how much I needed. Delivery was on time and very friendly. Will definitely use them again for future projects.

Best masonry supply in the region! Unlike many others, the customer service here is friendly and informative. Great selection of masonry tools, including many hard to find ones. Wide selection of concrete colors in 1, 5 & 25 pound bags. Pricing is reasonable. Decent selection of masonry materials as well. Especially for this smaller location. They've a lot of things the bigger guys don't have. Easy freeway access! Both on and off. Lots of street parking. Gets busy, but the wait isn't ever that long.

I recently bought 2 yards of rock and had delivered and wasn't enough so I picked up a 1/2 yard in my truck and laid all down in flower bed. They didn't match so I called. The manager and foreman came out quickly to see why they weren't matching. They fixed the problem quickly. I am very satisfied with their customer service.

As a female who doesn't not know a lot of landscaping, I was working on a do it yourself project in my backyard and I heard of this place from a classmate. Their materials are gorgeous, high quality, the prices can't be beat but I support small business's. Their employee Jeanette was very friendly and helped me figure out some dimensions even though that is not their job, I was very appreciative. I have kept going back since and it has yet to fail me.

Counter personal very nice and helpful. I wish I could say the same thing about their manager Jeanette Villanueva and driver. The driver hit the column entering my property. After the driver admitting hitting the wall, they provided the material and refused to pay for the labor. The labor amount was only $350.00. They need new management, she deliver two loads of re-bar at the cost of $800.00 each, when we only order one load. We returned the re-bar because that's the ethical thing to do. Maybe Mrs. Villanueva should look up ethical in the dictionary. You have a wonderful day Mrs. Villanueva.

Only four starts because they forgot to give me my change one time and I forgot to ask. But aside from that, it happens, this place has a great selection. You would need to drive a lot further to find better selection. Delivery was on time. Fair price. Just take the time to find out how much you really need. I made that mistake and had to drive a couple mini loads home.

Give these guys a chance. Samples of material on display. It ain't Home Depot. Can feel intimidating to homeowners. But they actually Know their stuff. They mostly deal with contractors. But are helpful to homeowners.

After buying from them for over 4 years and spending tens of thousands of dollars at this location, the refused to fix a mistake on their side. They over charged us and after realizing the issue, they refused to take liability. It's a shame that they don't have the customers best interest at heart. Moving forward, I will go out of my way to avoid stopping here.

Had a great experience! Picked the 3/4 to 1 inch river rock for our project. Turned out great. Delivery was very easy and everyone there was easy to work w. Definitely recommend them.

This place is a little intimidating if you are a Home Depot customer but the staff was very friendly. They had samples for you to see close by without going through the whole yard and the delivery was even on time and friendly.

Excellent service plus would do price match would deliver where others fail to deliver a bit price but worthy on top delivery truck gots a fork lift so would accommodate your needs where requests keep it up guys.

Don't build that wall! Well, don't build that wall UNTIL you check out La Cadena Building Materials. Yes sir, drive a little farther into the desert, where the heat melts away big city prices. That man is the richest whose pleasures are the cheapest. And man am I rich. Saved $0.85 per split block off the best prices I found in Riverside, and over $1 off Anaheim rip offs.

Split block makes a lovely wall. It's concrete masonry block that at first is made like a Siamese Twin to another block then split apart. The result is a random texture that looks rustic and interesting. You will never again look at a plain, boring cinder block wall again without thinking why didn't those cheap so-and-so's build that wall with split block?! The lovely and knowledgeable staff makes it a pleasure. Isn't that always so?
