I had the luck today to interact with a consummate sales clerk, a professional of the ilk to which us 70+ year olds are accustomed, but just don't see anymore. RICHARD is his name. Ask for him. I was hot and a little bit flustered about how to get what I needed for my mower. RICHARD assessed my situation and provided excellent assistance literally from start to finish.

He didn't send me to an aisle and good luck. He actually helped me. I've enjoyed Home Depot and Lowes for decades, but Builders Mart is my new go to when I know I'm gonna need help. They also sharpen mower blades, ya no :. Bought a blower too.

I didn't find what I was looking for but I come here because everyone is so friendly. As soon as you walk in you're greeted with a hello and a smile. Seems like everyone here is eager to help you. I asked a clerk a question and he stopped what he was doing to take me to the product location, unlike Home Depot where it takes forever to get help and when you get someone, they have to ask someone else.

Always someone to help you, if you need help with something, this is the best place

Was there las nit getting stuff etc. For my little setup dj boi. For them markers are lit. 1 thing expensive. = i have gotta new tape Staff is knowledgable The nice worker helped me with wat i was lookin for.

The people who work here are unprofessional and unhelpful. They have the "not my problem" attitude. I'd shop at a different location if you need any type of assistance. These are the type of employees who lie about inventory because they don't want to look things up. I will be driving to Rancho or Rialto the next time I need something because of the unprofessional way I was treated.

I went there looking for a replacement bolt, Ken helped me out. He really knows his stuff, friendly and i cant emphasize how helpful he was.

This place is so good way better than those. Home Depot and Lowes.

These folks are the real deal. Seems like they know everything and if they don't, they'll find the answer and point you in the right direction.

I really like getting all my project materials here. Not only is it clean and organized, but the owners have done some upgrades. But if you want top notch service Ask for (Tony) he was wonderful, helpful, not in a hurry, and really answered my questions and concerns. He knows his stuff about paints, primers, sealers and. Stains. He even gave me a demonstration. Outstanding Customer service! Thanks again. TONY!

Recently I purchased a home in the area and my husband on Wednesday morning, June 2, sent me to purchase some silicone caulking for the kitchen sink. I went into the store and it was neat and clean and I was impressed, I could not find my way to the item I needed. I noticed a sales associate standing in in the middle of the isle. I asked him where I could find the item I was looking for and all he did was point his finger to the isle where the item was located he did not even speak to me.

No further assistance as I was not aware of so many brands, and searching for the right kind of silicone for sinks. No further direction was given me just the finger pointing to where the item was located. Very bad customer service I did not get his name he was tall and a little on the heavy side, the cashier was friendly but the sales associate was not accommodating at all. I hope this is not an indication of the service I will be getting in establishments from moving to this area.

This place is a Fontana icon. Great staff some people that I've seen here working for 20+ years. Always have what I need and if they don't they get it very quick I do most of my DIY supplies here keep the money local

Excellent customer service, such helpful employees. Is so nice to walk in here and get answers right away instead of trying to hunt someone down in home depo! Thanks everyone, will be back.

I'm a senior citizen (78). On COVID lockdown. I called to see if I could get curbside pickup of some bird seed. They said they could not accommodate me. I have to drive across town to shop there, but I do most of the time I need "hardware". I like them, but I was disappointed that they couldn't/wouldn't help.

Everything was Awesome. This was my 1st time in the store at 33 years of age. And I gotta say this is now one of my new favorite store. Store was clean and of course covid-19 set up with 6 feet apart stickers on the floor hand sanitizer as you walk in and of course mask required. I was very happy with customer service there was two employees that stood out the most.

One was a young woman, I believe it was her second week working. I believe green eyes. She was working a register. She was super nice. When I walked in I didn't know anything. When I don't know I ask. She answered all my questions and told me about the membership program that is free so I can earn coupons. Very helpful. The second employee that stood out at this Awesome and Safe Location was Roberto.

Now I remember Roberto because he helped me out twice already and both time he went over and beyond for me. I definitely appreciate a person that it willing to do everything to make someone feel comfortable. I met Roberto the 1st time I ever been to the store as well as the young lady. I arrived around 3pm and was looking for car ramps. I didn't see any.

And with Roberto help he went to the back and found a set. I was so blessed he took the time to look In the back and find a set. Vanessa the young lady working the cash register was very kind, helpful and friendly. She has very good customer service skills and this true value should hire more people like her.

Foothill True Value has come a long way they turned it 360°. They have become my first option before Home Depot or Lowe's that place is packed from garden, paint, tools, fasteners are super organized from regular standard to grade 8. True Value counts with delivery also. Give it a try.

I needed parts to repair my ice chest. Michelle was able to direct me to exactly what i needed. She was extremely helpful. You describe to these employees what you are trying to do and in my experience they will give you options. Big box stores have lost this kind of service and attention to details. In the past i have also been helped by Cliff. I always like going to this store!

I had been having a very difficult time with another true value store to honor our water heater warranty that we had bought under a year ago and when I spoke with this stores manager Cindy(not sure how she spells it) she was SO helpful to me. She contacted many people to make sure that we could get our new water heater. I thought we were going to have to buy a new water heater again but thanks to her, we don't have to. Cindy you are awesome!

I'd like to give Chris from the paint section a shout out for mixing our paint! Thank you dude!

I had reached out to the store to see if they could fix or replace screen doors. We were told absolutely. When I got to the store with my damaged screen the gentleman behind the counter Ron offered to help fix the screen door, and see if it would work for us. He suggested if it did not we could come back and buy a new screen door from them. I was blown away.

He was able to fix the screen door. I am so grateful that he took the time and was so personable. It was service we rarely see you today. I will absolutely frequent this store, as a result of amazing customer service. Thank you Ron. YOU ROCK!

They have limited chicken supplies now! LOL! Sort of limited on other things like blinds accessories (for repairs and stuff like that). Going there right now for a possible update here.
