If you're looking for good customer service don't even bother. From the minute we walked in the door (and the only customers in the store) We felt like a burden on the staff. two employees behind the counter on their computers, too busy to greet us let alone ask if we needed assistance. Couldn't get out fast enough!

Jerry at El Dorado Tile & Marble is a saint. My father in law recently passed and we needed to source some dated tile for a kitchen repair. This was all the end cap. (about 30' with 3 outside corners). The profile and color are not available outside of 1986 so we had to improvise. He helped pick out a contrasting color and got it ordered. The initial time to source the stuff was about a week.
In the mean time, we're trying to get the house on the market on the 24th or so of August. I placed the order for the tile on the 18th. He thought we'd end up with them on Wednesday the 23rd. It would have to do.so I paid the man and went on my way. Later that night, Jerry called me to tell me that my tile was in store for me to pick up.
I picked up the pieces on Saturday and prepped for the job. On Monday (the 21st) I did the job. I had my 10 year old nephew help me do the task. Now, I knew I had about 10 tiles to cut, and would need to rent a saw. Jerry rents them for $50 a day. Instead of renting me a saw, he just cut the 10 pieces for me at about a buck a cut. Then, he offered to teach my nephew how to use the saw.
He took time out of his day to invest in a kid that wants to learn (No one does this folks), then he refused to let me pay. Seriously? Jerry and El Dorado Tile & Marble have earned my business for life. We're in Roseville and planning to have granite put in our home at some point. We aren't even going to bother shopping around. Jerry nailed it. Thanks, Man.

Terrible experience. Ended up with gritty, rough, dull counters. The owner Jerry didn't stand by his employees work. Before you buy anything from this place please come and look at and feel my counters. I live only a few minutes from el dorado tile.and I would be more than happy to let you see for yourself. The YELP description about El Dorado Tile is all TRUE. We highly recommend this business because owner Jerry and his staff truly take care of customers with more than just a "business" attitude. Our master bathroom remodel was out of town, but we chose to purchase floor, shower, accent and shower floor tile products here in Auburn simply because of the excellent service, range of products and friendly advice every step of the way. Can't wait to show them our photos of the finished project!
