Do not even consider using Collis Roofing! How very disappointing to was to have a huge, beautiful ceramic tile roof that cost tens of thousands of dollars installed on a custom built, Winter Park Tour of Homes property, certified "Green" home, to have a leak after 10 years of it installation.don't they have an average life of 25-30 years?.only to be further disappointed in the amount of time it took to have Collis scheduled to inspect the roof for a leak (took over two weeks) and then to have to wait another 3 weeks to have it repaired (in this time there was a reschedule of a week which pushed the repair out further.this caused us about a two months of lost time in getting the house eligible to be sold.further disappointments came after we had inside of the house painted and put on the market to have the house fail its inspection because of the roof leak still being active!
So it was not installed right in the first place and then not repaired correctly. When I called Collis about the failed report they said that there was a tree limb still touching the roof so that was likely why the leak was still there.to which I told them it was the first time I had heard about a limb touching the roof from the inspection or at the time of repair so why weren't we notified of it. FURTHER communications and outcome disappointments came, along with frustration when I notified them that we wanted a refund or the repairs done correctly before the closing on the house.the date was two weeks out and was clearly shared with them as we would have to give up $ 5,000 to the buyer (I negotiated this down from $7,200 with the house buyers, on top of the repair bill that we had paid Collis for but wasn't done correctly) to get the leak to get properly repaired.
The response I got several days later from someone named Kay in the Repair and Warranty department (incorrectly named as that they didn't warranty any of their work) was that a refund wasn't possible.and after making follow up calls (2) that requested they get the repairs completed correctly, weren't returned promptly, we didn't get a reply until after the closing date on the house. REALLY.it seemed like they knew that since they had our money and if they delayed long enough and frustrated us enough that we would just go away. Pass the word to not use Collis roofing. I'm a 1st time homeowner who was nervous about the process of getting a roof replaced and covered by homeowners insurance. Mr. Greg Dickey of Collis Roofing made this experience less stressful and was always quick to respond to questions and concerns via text, email, or call. The Collis Roofing crew also did an excellent job of completing my roof in a timely manner and were also respectful of my yard(and dogs) cleaning up before they left every day. I have already recommended Collis Roofing to friends and family and have had neighbors ask who installed my great looking roof!

Collis Roofing just finished our roof and we couldn't be happier. Collis Roofing was very professional. Their Senior Estimating Specialist, Mr. Greg Dickey, was extremely helpful. He helped us understand and navigate the process from start to finish. Greg coordinated all parts of the process and took the time to answer all of our questions day or night. Collis Roofing went above and beyond for us. They made corrections to the old roof to prevent future problems. We are very satisfied with the work they did. We definitely recommend them.

Called for a roof inspection to see if there was storm damage and needed an insurance claim. 1st person came out and said "we will get you that new roof proposal right away". Had to explain again, that I would NOT be purchasing a new roof and was looking for an inspection for insurance storm damage. They said "we will have to send out our insurance person".
Couple of days later someone different came out. Was on a single section of the roof for maybe 10 minutes, then left. Never heard from them again. No call, no follow up, nothing. Had a different company come out, they were on the roof for probably 30 minutes, checking all areas. Found 2 nail pops and showed me the pictures. So Collis either a) didn't see these which should have been pretty obvious or b) saw them and didn't bother to even let me know about it. Really? What kind of business behaves that way? Avoid these guys.

Excellent customer service. Their representative, Greg Dickey worked with my insurance company to get the best possible coverage. The crew was well organized and conscientious. All the work was completed in 2 days and my new roof is beautiful. They even laid tarps around the house to catch falling debris and nails and keep them out of the yard, then cleaned the yard when finished. My yard was spotless when they left. I definitely recommend Collis Roofing and will use them again, should the need arise.

Collis Roofing provided excellent service, patience in my scheduling needs, and Greg Dickey answered all my questions and anticipating many I did not ask. All the while providing me assurances in the technical aspects of what they provide their customers. I have had my home roofed twice before due to hailstorm, and hurricanes, however no company came close to providing the customer service Collis Roofing does.

The work was Quality Plus+Plus and I have received compliments from several of my neighbors. Greg from Collis Roofing came out for an inspection of our roof. He was a straight shooter and very professional. He wrote us up a quote that had no BS attached and he answered any questions we had. When it came to repairing our roof, the crew was on time and were incredible. They all knew what they were doing and worked like a well drilled army. The repairs were done ahead of schedule with no added on surprises. If you need a new roof, do not hesitate to give Greg a call at Collis Roofing.

Wanted To Personally Thank GREG DICKEY WITH COLLIS ROOFING For Proving That A Company Can Be Fair, Reputable And On Time. Their Team Of Roofing Experts Took More Time To Prepare The Area To Ensure That Everything In The Surrounding Area Was Protected Before Starting The Roof Removal. The Roof Was Completed Within 2 Days And Permit Was Ready Within 10 Days Of Meeting And Signing The Paperwork. There Were No Hidden Surprises In The End In Fact They Added Improvements To The Roof Without Any Hard Sell That You Would Expect From A Lesser Company.

We had damage to our roof in July 2019. After 3 months of negotiations with the insurance we were getting no where. A neighbor had his roof replaced by Collis Roofing and recommended getting them involved. We contacted Collis and Greg Dickey came to our home to inspect damages the next day. Greg took the bull by the horns and went to work on our claim.
After going through 3 desk adjusters and working with the field adjuster the insurance finally agreed on full replacement. Greg stayed on the project to see that the insurance covered every penny. Jack Garcia, the supervisor for the replacement was on site daily and was great to work with as was his team members. The end result was a great job and a beautiful roof, finally completed in March 2020. We don't know how we could have ever got this completed without Collis, specifically Greg Dickey!

We recently had our roof replaced by Collis after getting several bids. Greg Dickey the Estimator/Inspector was very knowledgeable and evaluated the damage we had to our roof and handled our claim with our insurance carrier. He was very professional and thorough and extremely customer oriented. Jack Garcia the Reroof Superintendent was on the job consistently and he too was very knowledgeable and customer oriented. The job went well and we were very pleased with Collis and would definitely recommend them.

Into price gouging - quoted me $150/ea to replace boot on roof but sent me written estimate double that price - glad I actually looked at estimate. Other companies like Armor also quoted me $150/ea so knew their verbal quote was on target and since in our county preferred to use them. Never again and won't recommend them either.
