Armstrong Glass is the absolute best. I've made two purchases on site and had two orders shipped. Everything is always packed with great care, and they've got the best customer service. Liz has been so sweet and accommodating. I wish I remembered the name of the guy that showed us around the first time, as he was also super helpful. Thank you all!

*Review is solely for online purchase* You can't beat buying stained glass from the source itself even if it's just online. Plus- the website is very easy to navigate and straightforward. With just $15 flat rate shipping available to retail customers and a very personalized customer service, it feels like I've been to the store physically.
The customer service representative literally helped me modify my order and we communicated by text. I thought that was really one of a kind. He was very polite and very thorough. I was super excited when I received my order. Everything was packed well. No breakage and quality of glass is impressive. I can't complain. I'll definitely order again and would be thrilled to visit their brick and mortar presence someday.

My first time into the location. At first, I was a little confused by the calling to make an appointment, but when I got there, the owners explained that it's so they can make sure to focus on one customer at a time! Now THAT is service. Liz was amazing, helpful, and friendly. Everything that I could want in an art supply shop. I got some gorgeous glass, a bunch of zinc came, and a pair of small pliers. Prices are comparable, even better when you can go an pick up instead of having it shipped! I'm a fan. I'll be back! :

The new owners have managed to ruin this place in record time. When they bought it I hoped they would expand the selection of fusing glass, hire more staff and have more classes. But they've shrunk the selection, and you can't go pick out your own glass without making an appointment. This is what happens when people who know nothing about the art glass business buy an art glass business. Go to Guidance Glass in Dallas. They have the glass and the service you were hoping to get from Armstrong.

I cannot describe how excited I am about the change in owners for this place. I have been an stained glass hobbyist for years now and tried Armstrong a few years ago. I liked the selection, but it is a far drive for me. But with the changes made, it is definitely worth it. Last month, I decided to make the 3-hour drive and scheduled an appointment to come in.
First of all, they were incredibly understanding when I had to push my appointment time back a little. When I finally arrived, I noticed the changes in the company and absolutely love what is different now. With the appointment time, I really got one-on-one time with the employees, who are SO kind and SO knowledgeable, and the glass. Not only was the atmosphere and the employees/owners pleasant, the glass is set up in such a pleasing way now.
The samples are all visible and it is easy to compare many different glasses at the same time, instead of making the way around a large retail space and having to go back and forth. The selection is the biggest I have every seen and there are so many beautiful choices at really good prices. The glass is reasonably priced, high-quality, and the experience of the shopping tops it off greatly.
I am so happy I made the trip out. I will absolutely be making my way back to shop and I have already utilized the updated website - which makes shopping so much easier! Also with the website, they really have the fastest shipping I have ever experienced with a glass company!

Anyone needing some specialty glass for a stained glass project, this is where you go! I am creating some custom stained glass panels for my kitchen cabinets and this is where my stained glass artist sent me to pick out glass! Great service, great selection! Hidden in an office park in Kennesaw, you have to be looking for it.

Laura Faber, the customer service manager, as well as her staff, have always been most helpful in taking care of my glass orders. Their prompt service and a willingness to make sure that I'm completely happy with my glass choices have made me a totally happy and loyal customer. Kudos to all the gals at Armstrong Glass!

I ordered several pieces of stained glass online, including one Wissmach and one Youhiogheny. I received all 4, but both the Wissmach and Youghiogheny had a corner broken off, and they had been packed with corners missing. On the Wissmach, the break was very noticeable, losing about 1 of glass and going about 1/3 of the way across the sheet. On the Youghiogheny, the missing corner was pretty small but the piece was cut from the edge of the sheet, and they had measured from the widest point on the wavy edge, so I did not actually receive the full size I paid for.
I needed exactly what I had ordered for my projects. I called to ask what could be done, and they said that the manager would call me back. The manager never did, and even though I have been calling daily and leaving a message asking for a call back, they have not returned a single call. At no point have I ever been rude or raised my voice. How can someone run a business by nickel & diming their customers to save a few cents? Don't they value their reputation? I will never order from them again.

My low rating pertains to online ordering and servicing. They are in GA, I'm on the West coast. I ordered but never received a tracking number via email. It was supposed to arrive yesterday. I called this morning and someone actually answered the phone, and she said she would call me back about my order. I have a deadline for a gallery submission so it's critical.
She never called back and East Coast closing time was upon us. No one picked up the phone when I tried to call 4 or 5 more times. I sent an urgent email. Finally someone just called me with a tracking number. I would say if it doesn't matter when your order arrives, fine. Response times are very slow. Glass selection is good, and they have glass i can't get from my other online vendor who gives great service. But if your timing is critical or you want a high level of customer service, this may not be the best online vendor for you.

Took a glass fusing class here and got totally hooked. The selection of glass and supplies is ok - not much dichroic in COE 96 to choose from. They are rather under staffed and they close at 5pm. Saturday hours are short, too. Not a bad place but could be better if they put some effort into it. The staff doesn't know much about fusing. For example they fire everything on the kiln floor, not on a shelf, which I found out isn't recommended.
And if your project breaks or is somehow messed up by them well tough luck for you is their attitude. Spend the extra money and go take a class at Spruill if you want a comprehensive glass class by someone who knows what they're talking about v

I have always been interested in taking glass fusing classes and jumped at the opportunity when I saw a Living Social deal to take a class at Armstrong Glass Company. In addition to Glass Fusing, Armstrong also offers classes in Stained Glass, Mosaics, and Precious Metal Clay (a process where clay becomes.999 fine grade Silver upon firing). The employees and our teacher were all very friendly and welcoming.
Even though our class was filled with newbies, the teacher took the time to give us background on glass fusing, explained the different types of glass and fusing techniques, and showed us all of the tools that we would be using. The teacher offered ideas and advice to each of the students and helped me out when I was struggling with my glass cutter.
Each student was allowed to make two pieces. The two techniques we focused on were full fusing and tack fusing. The glass took about two hours, most of which was spent creating our pieces. The only reason Armstrong does not get a five star rating is due to the smaller selection of glass pieces that we had to choose from in order to construct our pieces.
I would have liked to see a bigger selection; it felt like we were working with scraps. All in all I was happy with our experience and am interested in taking another class. A unique and fun experience!
