The estimate process helps us determine the scope of your hardwood flooring project. If there are pre-existing floors prior to the installation process we typically suggest that those floors are removed first. Typically homeowners will opt to demolish old floors themselves to save money. If homeowners wish to do the old floor demolishing themselves, we provide them with ways to make the process go smoothly.
Please see color chart provided for basic color selection. Upon customer selection from online chart Mr. Sandman will provide larger samples in person. We begin the sanding process using a belt sander at the middle of the floor, a circular sander for the edges of the floor and hand scrapers for the corners.
Mr. Sandman offers a multitude of solutions for damaged hardwood floors. Mr. Sandman is limited to hardwood flooring and refinishing repairs, as well as small subfloor repairs. Repairs we typically do include board replacement and refinishing the floor in which the boards have been replaced. Generally, we will not replace boards unless we are refinishing the floor in which the boards are being replaced.

The refinishing of existing floors was very nice with the exception of blowing a breaker and ruining $300'00 worth of meat. my living room flooring was supposed to match the existing dining room and kitchen but is not even close. When I talked to the son who is the estimator about some issues I could tell it was falling on deaf ears. Would not recommend.

Sandman flooring saved my floors! My husband and I are typically very good at DIYs after hours of research I knew we were ready to tackle the floors of our newly purchased home. Oh boy was I wrong! After sanding and applying stain with a wool applicator (as every single video ever stated) my floors would not dry. We waited 7 days (literally) before we realized this was not going to ever dry.
I called the Sandman right away, he came out the next day to take a gander of my lovely handy work. He was patient and calm and even gave us tips and tricks on what could have went wrong. He then gave us a very reasonable quote and we booked him for that next Monday! My floors were finished yesterday and let me tell you, they are amazing. I would recommend the Sandman to any and all in the Cleveland area who are looking for good quality work on their hardwoods!
