Rushed over before they closed, to find the gate locked 10 minutes before 5. Why bother posting hours if you're going to ignore them? Good thing I was just trying to refill propane, and not trying to return a rental or something. Edit: I appreciate the reply. If your Saturday hours changed at some point, also changing the hours posted on your sign and online would have gone a long way toward preventing the frustration of rushing over to find a locked gate.

Got propane refilled on my RV. Went in and was told someone would meet me there. Headed out for a long dry camping trip, so wanted to top off a mostly full tank to be sure. Took 2 gallons. Went in to pay and the guy who helped me told the guy at the desk "minimum". I was charged $18 for 2.2 gallons of propane. I was never told there was a 4.5 gallon minimum.
Nor were there any signs blatantly posted stating such. I would avoid them for your propane and propane accessories. Hank Hill would lose it if he knew what a scam they were running there.

There is a minimum purchase for propane that wasn't disclosed prior to topping off a few gallons in my camper. Not only that, but the price per gallon wasn't displayed. They charged me for 4.5 gallons when I got 2.1 due to their minimum and it cost just under $18. Shady way to sell propane when other places around town were at around $2.50 a gallon. Not sure about their rental side, but I wouldn't recommend coming here for propane.

Same problem as the gentleman on 7/4. Went to drop the u-haul truck off after hours. No signage or information on website to indicate where to leave the truck or keys. Called U-Haul to get help as to what to do since my husband and I both had to work today. U-Haul advised us to leave the truck at the front gate and the keys in a metal box behind the sign.
Owner calls my husband this morning demanding very RUDELY to get over there first thing in the morning at 7am to move the truck. We have the lovely voicemail we're going to forward on to U-Haul. My husband called back to tell him what he'd been told to do and the guy starts going off about how he has a place in the back and he's told U-Haul etc, ranting and raving. Sorry, buddy, not our problem and don't appreciate being talked to like that when we just did what we were told. Maybe put up some signage so this doesn't happen again.

Was quoted $27 to rent a mower. Showed up at noon on Sat. and was told they close in 2 hours and it would now be $40. (they're closed Sun.) They were ok with sending a repeat customer away empty-handed and taking zero dollars over 27 for a mower that won't be rented. That's business, I guess. Not very neighborly though.
