We are your one stop shop for your woodworking products and service needs. Weather you need a piece of wood, a simple cut made to a board, or you're looking for a complete millwork package, we do it all. You will be hard pressed to find another woodworking company that caters to your needs in the way that we do.
David's interest in woodworking began when he entered 7th grade in Bolton CT., influenced by Roger Titus the industrial arts teacher at the then Bolton Junior Senior High School. Two years later the school became only a High School which kept David under Rogers's guidance and influence for 6 years until he graduated.
A board foot can be determined by multiplying, Thickness in inches (x) Width in inches (x) Length in inches, and dividing by 144. Most lumber is sold random width and random length and is first and seconds grade (FAS - 6 and wider, 8' and longer). Other milling services including joining, ripping, sanding, and much more can be provided at our general labor rate.
Some jobs, based on their size or complexity may not be able to be completed same day. In those cases, we will provide you with a sales order and the job can be processed through our milling production queue. We do our best at Parkerville Wood Products, Inc. to keep these prices up to date and as accurate as possible.

Excellent class on epoxy and woodworking with Chris and staff. Highly recommend coming here before wasting time on you tube. They have it all and the nicest staff. On my way out I had a random question I asked to a a staff member. He couldn't be nicer and helpful. He took time to explain how they square their bandsaw fences. As a part time woodworker I really feel like this place goes above and beyond for the little guys like me.

Stopped in the other day. The staff were all super nice, really knowledgeable, and went out of their way to show me around and educate me on everything that they do. The selection and variety of products was fantastic and I really can't say anything bad about the experience. I will be returning for a project in the future.

Great place to buy wood. I picked up some hickory a few weeks ago to make floating shelves. Upon learning I'd never been there, one of the staff showed my wife and I around the whole place, pointing out both very interesting and very affordable options for wood. I really like that they offer full surfacing here since I don't really have the capacity right now to do that myself. I am really happy with the quality of the wood and my shelves look great. I look forward to returning for future projects.

Advisement - I went in to buy some red oak to modify a kitchen cabinet for a new refrigerator. I found out that not only can I buy the lumber I need, but they would also provide the service to modify my cabinet as well. Having said that, we talked about my project and they advised me to modify the bottom of the cabinet and dont make it a bigger project than it needed to be. Honest free advice is a rarity! thank you. I will be back!

Absolutely phenomenal hardwood selection and price. There is something for everyone here and the staff is beyond helpful with any questions. It was my first time here and I was given a tour right as I walked in and was shown and explained everything they do. They are fully outfitted to meet your every need from needing raw wood to having something custom built for you. I'll always go to Parkerville from now on.

I am very new to woodworking, specifically turning, as a hobby but the few times I have been there it has been on Saturdays and extremely busy. This did not hinder the staff from taking time out to explain things to me in a way that a newbie could understand. I do think their prices are a little high but this is one of those situations where I personally feel I get what I pay for.
You don't walk in blind and pick something out you think might work and then buy it. Staff approaches you, will give you advice and even tips based on experience they personally have had. Again in regards to price you're buying wood that you can bring home and almost immediately turn into a finished product. It is dry with very little imperfections.
So of course you're going to pay a little more than one would might want to. This is not Home Depot.you're not going here for 2x4s and sheets of plywood. You go there for specific woods that will be turned into higher end pieces. If you're framing a house out you're not going to Parkerville for lumber. I go there because I know what I'm getting is quality and can be turned into something that I can turn for a profit.
I don't think there's any kind of establishment you can go to nowadays where the prices have increased for whatever product they are selling. I look for good product with a better experience and that's what you get at Parkerville. It's a 50 minute drive for me and that doesn't stop me
