Our home was built in 1998 so it was time to get a re-roof done. We had contacted 10 contractors to bid on our project and the proposals were vastly different which was surprising. Building material was the main difference in pricing and we did not see a need to get the most expensive up to date method of venting our home as we haven't had an issue with it for all these years anyways.
So we looked at 3 bids from the companies we really enjoyed who had professional sales teams and were not overpriced for what we were looking for. Chase came out on top. They were not the cheapest but they provided what we wanted at a price we were willing to spend. The crew showed up for three days due to on and off rain during the week. Wed-Fri and completed everything and were very polite and professional.
They cleaned up everything thoroughly the last day and I am very happy with the end product. Our home is a darker gray with white trim/border and we picked the dual black IKO Cambridge shingles and it looks amazing. Thank you for re-roofing our home.

We got bids from 5 different companies and decided to go with Chase, and I'm so happy we did. The crew was always on time, professional, and did amazing work. We got a new roof, gutters, attic ventilation, and also had some construction work done to extend our porch awning. We are so pleased with everything and at a price much lower than several of the other bids. We would definitely hire them again!

If it was possible, I'd give 6 stars. This was a roof replacement on a house from 1907. Not an easy thing to do, pitch of the roof and all. Anyway the crew showed up on time per agreement. And they were pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. The whole thing took 3.5 days. And, not that they were responsible but it was during a 4 day dry spell at the end of March!
So no problems with rain. And one thing I can't help but mention - I had rain gutter covers on my house and i expected to have to do it over again after the roof replacement. Nope! The crew put them back on when they were finished with the roof! Amazing! They cleaned up and hauled away the debris. Simply can't say enough positive things. Give them an opportunity.

Chase Construction NW offers the security and reliability of an established company with the direct intimacy of a personal business. My bid almost didn't get picked up because the guy at the office initially told me I was out of the service area, but Joel (the business owner) picked up my email inquiry and came over personally to do an estimate.
We chatted for over an hour and a half on all things roofing and I learned a lot about how roofs are built. We talked about many options for shingle brands and colors. I got the impression these guys are experts who are really invested in their craft and aren't just around to sell roofs. I got bids from 4 roofers and called 3 more and ended up taking CCNW's proposal.
Even though it was not the cheapest bid, I felt like the combination of personal investment from the owner, over 2 decades in the business, and video evidence of their recent work on social media made them the best choice to trust with my property. (Their website is a little out of date but their gallery is more current on social media complete with drone footage.) They have a blog that I read a lot of while researching this job, and only a few roofers in the country have that kind of online presence (Bill Ragan in Tennessee is one of the only other ones comparable) I took it as further proof Joel and his crew are experts in the field and not just another company out to make a buck.
With these big and important jobs it's vital to hire the best in the business and not the lowest number. My previous roof was only about 15 years old and was done by the previous owner but it was missing just about everything aside from the shingles, like W valley flashings and all drip edges. The crew I hired to patch exposed nails and build a cricket on my chimney to address issues identified by the home inspector when we moved in 3 years ago also did a shoddy job and didn't bother flashing the chimney or the cricket.
The whole area was rotted and had to be replaced. There's a lot of room to cut corners in this business and hiring the right guys who are fundamentally opposed to doing that kind of thing through pride and honor is going to make the difference between your roof lasting 30+ years and being junked at 15. The crew spent a week and a half on my job because of how much decking had to be replaced.
I came back to check in with them at least once a day and they talked me through the job status and showed me their progress up top. I'm a stickler for details both because I like seeing how everything is done and because I need to account for everything to make sure nothing was overlooked. The crew was very professional and clear about what they were doing and were happy to explain the details to me.
When I went up on the roof halfway through I saw they had already built up a Y junction that previously was a dead zone for leaves and water into a raised pitched area with a flat roof torch down without me needing to point it out. This was a problem I was aware of but forgot to bring up as I didnt think there was any way to fix the structure of the roof itself, and they had already taken care of it.
I was confident the crew was leaving no stone unturned and cutting no corners. Brandon was my foreman and he was both incredibly professional and extremely personable. Even still, I was constantly on his back asking questions about the job and checking if all the details were covered and he was always two steps ahead of me and very patient and polite. Trusting someone to tear apart and rebuild half your house is a huge leap of faith and it made a big difference to know your property is in good hands and the guys working on it will treat it like their own. It's also important to know that if something goes wrong, the guys you hire will have your back instead of trying to take a backdoor.
My two skylights I had replaced had the wrong kind of glass on them and no one noticed until the job was finished. I called Joel about them and he said that was not the look he was going for nor what we agreed on, and even though it wasn't anyone's fault except maybe the manufacturer he agreed to have them reordered and swapped out for no additional charge. Joel is also one of the few roofers who offer the GAF Golden Pledge Warranty, and although I can't vouch for how it works (and hopefully I'll never have to use it) it gives you extra peace of mind that a third party (the manufacturer) vouches for the integrity of your roof for the next 30 years including workmanship, and that unlike my last roof everything that's supposed to be there is installed properly. If you want honest and honorable professionals who will deliver the best work and service on your house as if it was one of their own, you should hire Chase Construction NW.

We had some urgent repairs needed for a concrete tile roof on a house we had just purchased. Chase Construction was one of the few roofing contractors in the greater Seattle area that were willing to work on our roof. They could have recommended a complete replacement but were very accommodating on our request to stay within our repair budget while still doing an excellent job.
They were able to come out for an estimate quickly and complete the work without us needing to be home. They have a one year workmanship warranty so I feel comfortable reaching out to them if there are any issues that we did not notice. Communication and professionalism were great from beginning to end. I highly recommend Chase Construction!

"A company is only as good as its employees" unknown author. Called Chase Cnst NW to attach the cap to my roof vent pipe that had come partially off during high winds. 'Ambassador' Nick cheerfully took my call, scheduled the work quickly and followed up afterwards. Nick truly is an ambassador for them! I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family.

Gary was very responsive gave quote for a couple of different roof installations, we decided to go with the the GAF material for its quality and value over time. The roof installation crew was very courteous, professional and cleaned as they went. My roof looks great, my experience with Chase Construction was outstanding. Service: Roof installation

Reroof project was completed within timeframe and cost presented. After Chase's bid was accepted and down payment made was told project would start in a couple of weeks. Friday e-mail from Chase indicated Tuesday start. Monday e-mail postponed start until Wednesday. Adrian and his crew showed up Wednesday and began work. The roof was finished by Friday afternoon.
The crew was pleasant, took care around the landscaping and the clean up was excellent. The bid also included removing and reinstalling 2 chimney crowns. I had not seen the crowns but was told by another roofing estimator that they needed replaced. Chase staff inspected both chimney crowns and determined only minor repair was required. That work was accomplished saving $1200.
The project appeared fine until the kitchen vent was turned on. Debris from the vent blew into the kitchen. A check of the roof determined the Kitchen vent was shingled over and not replaced. Contacted Chase. They indicated someone would be out Monday or Tuesday. Finally late Wednesday Chase staff stopped by and looked at the problem. They were back Thursday and reinstalled the vent.
The only other issue I had were the e-mails from Chase ended in my spam folder. Could never figure that out. If asked, I would recommend Chase Construction Northwest. Just make sure you check your spam folder.

I have a 30 year old, 40 foot tall dome home built on a hill! It is classified as extreme roofing. Chase was not intimidated by this and confidently took on the work. The workers had to rappel using ropes tied off at the top of the structure! First they had to remove all the old roofing before tackling the new installation. The workers showed up on time every day and stayed late into the evening to get this job done.
They were here 12 days. One fellow even came out of retirement to help with our project as he was knowledgeable about how it needed to be done. I am so greatful. It was expensive but worth it! These guys are great. And fearless! I highly recommend them.

Chase Construction did a fantastic job on our complicated roof. The team was responsible, reliable, and professional. Our roof took six days, and the team worked extremely hard to finish before rainy weather. was forecasted. Chase, the on-site project manager, was communicative and thorough. We appreciate their hard work, the cleanup, and the quality.

I was happy that they offered a sooner appointment on New Years Eve between 8-9am with Joel. No one came. I sent a message on the app, still no response. I called and spoke with Tiana who got my information and said she would forward it. I waited the whole day, nothing. I wish they would have just let me know that no one was coming so I didn't have to waste my time.

Chase Construction lived up to what we hope for when hiring a local small business for a home project. Through out our project their communication was great - from our initial inquiries, to scheduling, and check-in with us after the job was complete. They stuck to the estimate provided, even when some extra materials were needed. Communication, pricing, quality, and customer service were all perfect.
We hired Chase to install a SolaTube in one of our dark hallways and to patch a spot in our roof where a limb had gone through it during a windstorm. Even though our project was fairly small (compared to a new roof-sized project) they gave us plenty of attention. Thank you Chase Construction for a job well done-and for the kind thank you sent us in the mail!

We were replacing our roof for a future solar installation. We got several GAF master elite bids but Chase was the only one that offered to install the ice and water shield over the entire area of the roof where the panels were to be installed to minimize water penetration due to the hardware that would be mounted through the shingles to the roof rafters.
We had some other drip edge/gutter challenges based on the previous style of roofing. Chase was able to make the modifications needed to prevent us having to replace our existing gutters. We couldn't be happier with the Chase experience.

We just had our roof replaced and couldn't be happier. Chase did an amazing job! Quick, efficient. clean and great quality work. All our neighbors kept asking for their information. All the workers were so polite and friendly. Just a fantastic experience! Can't believe it only took a day and half from start to finish and left the places cleaner than when they came.

My 20 year old shake roof with skip sheathing needed to be replaced, so it needed all the shake torn off, plywood and architectural-grade composite shingles to comply with the community covenants. ChaseNW did a great job. 1/2 the roof was prepped the first day, and well protected by the underlayment despite the torrential rain that night. Highly recommend this company for their "Master Elite" rating with GAF which means the warranty is for both labor and materials and stays with the house if we sell it.

I got to meet the owner, Joel Beattie, who was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. His crew did great work, kept the worksite clean and swept for nails several times. They went above and beyond to meet expectations and even did a small "add-on" of work shed without changing the quote. I was impressed and appreciative for all their great work.

The owner, Joel, is VERY knowledgeable about all types of roofing. My roof is low profile, so no shingles. He provided recommendations for replacing my roof and gutters, including improvements for energy efficiency (insulation). The quote was spot-on with their work. The crew were friendly and efficient and most importantly they cleaned up the yard really well! I'm very pleased with their work.

Responsive and quick! Everyone was professional and nice from start to finish, and I especially appreciated the honesty about how soon we would need a new roof. No up sell or pressure, but good professional advice. This hasn't been my normal experience with home repair/construction so Chase was a breath of fresh air. Keep doing what you're doing, because you are head and shoulders above the rest. Thanks for an honest, quick and painless process!

Very happy with the end result. I was referred to Chase Construction by my prior real estate agent. I am very happy with her referral. Chase Construction was very fair priced and the only company that quoted me service that proved their GAF certifications to ensure proper warranty. Even when we had mis-communications, the owner (Joel) took the time to personally resolve my issue.
They were able to complete the re-roof in a single day and was very thorough with the clean up. They also installed gutters within the scope of the job, and they turned out far better than I had expected. Thank you, Chase Contruction, for the professional service.

When contracting a service like a roof for a new home, it can be quite overwhelming. We rely on reviews, and word of mouth, that the contractors performing services will do the jobs they promise. I had the unique experience of having Chase Construction recommended to me by another roofing company, because I needed a metal roof for a home my parents were purchasing.
There were several key factors that led us to choosing to work with them. 1.) Their communication was excellent. I called, got an appointment, and a phone meeting with the owner who was out of town at the time. I appreciate them working me in ASAP, as I was under a deadline for the homes inspection. 2.) Their bid was solid, and 20 percent less than their competitors bid for the same material.
It was easy to understand what we were contracting, and I was able to confirm that we were comparing apples to apples. 3.) Their crew was wonderful on site. They were on time, worked really hard, picked up their trash, raked for nails, they were friendly, and it was just a great group of hard workers. We really appreciated them. 4.) The job completed on time, as promised, and on budget.
The roof looks beautiful, we got everything we payed for. But we got something more. 5.) I really have to say that Joel (the owner) is a particularly wonderful person. I wasn't setting out for lifelong friends with our contractors, but what can we do? We love this guy! He's someone you'd be lucky to work with & I trust what he says and what he does. He's one of the few, that remind me how great people can be in this world.
Thank you Joel, and all your crew. We couldn't have had a better experience. Although I don't anticipate needing another roof for my folks in this lifetime, I will continue to recommend you to our friends and family!
