I had my counters installed a few months ago and I wanted to give some time before I reviewed. Overall the Counters look great. but at what cost. My experience with them was plain bad. This includes: Did the wrong edge cut which led to rescheduling Blaming the purchaser (me) for taking their recommendation and holding me to their "agreement" even though it was NOT what I went over with the measurer. Blaming purchaser (me) for adding materials to cabinets after measuring.
I didn't. They just didn't measure correctly and gave me a wrong recommendation. I reached out to a supervisor, Mat Balsley, who literally said "I'm on vacation and TRYING not to work". BTW my counters were $6,000. I have a staple imprinted in the top of my countertop. yep, you read that right. They used basic trim caulking, instead of silicone which failed less then a week after install.
If you want to work with a company that will try their best to make you pay for poor performance. this is the place to go. Ultimately, the countertops look great now that all the headache are dealt with. but they honestly arent worth the hassle to work with. As for a response to the owner, just hold your team accountable and quit blaming the purchaser for your measurers mistakes.
I understand mistakes happen, an "I'm sorry, we will get this fixed right away" instead of your team fighting me the entire way was the difference between somewhat satisfaction and a poor review.

Absolute nightmare company. Charged over 16k upfront for kitchen and bathrooms. Delayed our remodel for several months due to errors and once they didn't even bother to order the materials. Had to spend countless hours calling and emailing them. When they did finally get to install, they tried to pass off cracks in bathroom and kitchen island. Had to redo the island 2x.
We still have a cracked countertop in our master bath and they could care less. Employees don't care and after meeting with the owner, I know why because he cared the least of anyone. DO NOT hire them!

Do not hire this company. Do not work with anyone who subcontracts out to this company. My experience was a nightmare, top to bottom. No amount of "loving my kitchen" when it's done will erase the time and headache of these people. The first day they came to install my counters, I had a pipe under my sink get broken in demo as well as two of my drawer boxes. Thankfully I was home and able to shut the water off to avoid a major flood in my kitchen.
The team left and made no mention of the damage to the drawer boxes until I looked myself - shady business. In addition, the templating was not done correctly and therefore the counters did not line up with the sink properly. The brand new material was also installed with cracks. The one person I interacted with at this company who was kind, helpful and did the job right was Owen, who came out the following day to measure for the backsplash and saw firsthand how shoddy the work was.
He advocated for the job to be completely done over. When the new stone was cut and ready to install, the second crew who came to install (who was different from the first crew who damaged the cabinets, per my request) noted that the countertop was previously installed with silicon, not caulk as usual, which then increased the risk that the cabinets would be damaged further when they ripped up the first, poorly installed countertop.
This led to a multi-hour standoff where no work was done and I was hammer-calling managers at the office to determine a path forward. The path forward was that they would need to send somebody more skilled to do the job, with a manager to accompany, on yet another day. Which is another day that I would need to be home from work. Please note that this was now the 2nd time that I had to pay a plumber to disconnect and reconnect my sink for an incomplete job.
Mind you, apart from the shoddy work, there were THREE separate occasions where scheduling was incorrect. On the second install day, someone called me saying they were here with my dishwasher basket. WRONG. That led to hours more of phone calls to get someone there for the correct job, with the correct materials. On the first day, I was at work and got a phone call saying someone was there to install my countertop.
They had booked the install but failed to clue me in, and I was clearly not available. On the third install day, the project got done properly. They are in the process of reimbursing me for plumbing costs, which is appreciated. HOWEVER, working with these people was exhausting in every possible way and I would NEVER EVER hire them again, nor would I recommend to anyone else. Surely it would be easier for everyone involved to simply do the job right the first time.

Topline is a professional and friendly organization. I had another contractor go out of business in the middle of a large senior housing project and Topline seamlessly stepped in and cleaned up their mess. They really saved the day for me on this project and we are very grateful for their service. Jeff Wieser

We had this vendor scheduled come out and do some live in work for an apartment bath room tub surround. And damaged the tubs surface while installing replacement. Chiped off new coating on tub that we just resurfaced two weeks ago. I'm the upset resident! Completely incompetent their lack of work done properly is going to result in another resurfacing

In what has been a terribly-managed remodel, Topline stood out for its customer service, quality, and attention to detail. Jarod was excellent at helping to value engineer the cost down, and Jacqueline the scheduler was on top of scheduling and rescheduling around a difficult GC and subs. When a counter needed some additional cuts in the field, they got someone out there immediately.
The woman who did the measuring alerted me to the fact that the Amazon sink was bent at every corner. This may seem like a "duh" moment, but let me put this month into perspective: roofer who stepped over the dry rot, instead of telling me about it; sub who threw away a new but filthy dishwasher; cabinets that were the wrong size, length, no allowance for ducting; doors hinged on the wring side; broom closets that are too short for brooms, etc. The only problem was that the computer system always seemed to have issues finding the account. So I'd recommend always keeping that number at hand.

I was introduced to them through our designer and it's been the worst experience ever. Matt Balsley the sales person and David Traub has the worst customer service skills. They installed a beautiful piece of granite on our outdoor kitchen and when my pregnant wife went to clean it, it was cracked. It was cracked at one of their cuts. Her heart dropped.
Then as we step back and look at it, it is not level. This has to be the worst installation job ever. The countertop slopes about an inch. See pic. Then they want to charge me 640.00 more dollars to fix their mistakes. Do not ever use this company. Do much for helping a local business and have them stand by their work. Worst ever! Unhappy pregnant wife.

Top line Counters far exceeded our expectations. From measuring and templating to installation the crew was professional and a pleasure to work with. They did an excellent job of practicing safe distancing during this trying time. We were not quite ready when they arrived and the crew pitched in to help with no complaints. We will use them again!

Below are issues I encountered with Topline on a countertop fabrication and installation. Topline was a subcontractor to Green Home Solutions, which really stepped up to the plate. Can't tell you enough to run if you hear Topline will do your countertop fabrication. Issues with Topline: (1) Topline damaged my countertop prior to installation.
Instead of replacing it, they put wood putty(!) in all the areas they damaged. Looked terrible. (2) Topline mismeasured when it fabricated my countertop, resulting in the countertop not fitting. Instead of replacing the countertop, they cut into and weakened my cabinet structure to force a fit. (3) Topline cracked my granite sink during countertop installation because it mismeasured when it fabricated my countertop and couldn't get the countertop to fit during installation. Topline refused to replace my sink.

This company is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! Please don't get sucked in by all the up front lies on how they will get the perfect Quartz at the best price, installed quickly. It is all LIES! You pay them $4,000.00 for 18 linear feet of quart (good price you think) they tell you 3 weeks until completion. Six weeks later your now waiting for them to fabricate it, really.
The truth is they order the stone from china, you have have to wait for it to get here on the boat, then the 2-3 day fabrication is really 7-10 days. We were trying to get our house ready to sell this summer, we paid them in the end of July and the counter tops were not installed untill mid September. The whole process was nothing but lies and Josh Holbert the owner was just too busy to respond to any email or phone calls. Please spare your self the headache anyone is better than this outfit.

Largest manufacturer of countertops in Washington State. Quartz, solid surface, laminate, marble, granite, Travertine, soapstone, Dekton. TopLine uses laser templating technology at time of measure, and Titan and Fusion machines in their fabrication process. Preferred fabricator and installer of Caesarstone, Pental, MSI and many more.

My grandparents went to Costco to get a estimate on counters and were disgusted at how overpriced the estimate was. So they heard about Topline Counters and were amazed at how easy the process was from estimate to template than install. They paid nearly half the price from the other competitor and believe me they didn't sacrifice on quality. The counters look absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this company if you are in the market for counters.

This company is TOP-NOTCH! I am consistently blown away by their customer service and over producing - under promising mentality. Every single person I've dealt with has been exemplary! From the scheduling, to bidding a job, and simply their level of communication is unmatched with any company I've worked with during our current remodel. We utilized their services on our previous home, and now with our forever home. We will continue to use Topline for all of our projects! BRAVO!

This is a TERRIBLE company, the behavior of install crews while on site is REPREHENSIBLE, the owner, Josh Holbert, does his best to hide from the public behind gatekeepers--No accountability, awful ethics. This guy should not be in business, a real shyster, stereotypical shady contractor. I suspect they recruit their install crews from some kind of violent criminal work release and drug rehab program, real bottom-of-the-barrel types!

I maintenance a 129 unit building where they did counter and sink installs. Sinks are continuously falling out in our units. The installation across the board is inconsistent. The customer service is mediocre. They've come back to fix multiple sinks free of charge but common sense tells you if you do it right the first time then this wouldn't be happening. They're come back and fix sink different ways.
The come and epoxy some more wood to hold the sink to the quartz. Or I'm looking at a crap job right now when they've come back to fix a sink and they used this half ass tension wire. It's still been leaking water because the sink is fallIing out again! They've only done it right a couple of times when they've bracketed the sinks.
They may be good for small jobs but don't contract these guys to do bigger jobs. UPDATE 2/13/17 The company saw some flaws with previous workings within their company and made some changes. They made a diligent effort to correct the problems we had with our sinks. They sent out the same two guys three weeks straight that were communicative, fast, and consistent with their work.
Their new installation manager stayed on top of the job by reaching out to me and making sure everything was good. When things are done the way they've done them recently, this is a really good company.

These guys were terrific! They installed our kitchen first after doing a fancy laser template. That went to well, we had them do our kitchen in the basement next as well as our master bathroom and laundry room. I didn't think we would be able to have stone in all of those rooms but they made it affordable. Thanks!

Do not recommend this company to anyone! Spoke with them several times before the install and was reassured that the back splash would be all one piece. The day of the install, after all my old counter top was removed, the installer brings in the new counter top and the back splash was separate. I was very upset and spoke with Josh the owner and all he could do is say how sorry he was but never offered to make it right DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
