I'm an architect and we have several large multi-slide doors installed in our AZ home. They've been in for almost two years, no problems, the large glass panels glide easily and I really like the subtle door pull design and the locking mechanism. We are planning an addition and will definitely use Heritage doors on the addition.

Had full house window/door replacement in San Diego (they no longer ship to CA), and they were so awesome, we did a full house replacement in the White Mountains. Wonderful quality! Sills drain the melted snow, glazing provides excellent insulation (thermal breaks), and there's no glare coming through the E facing windows. Love the ease of the door and window locks (didn't think I'd like them; very pleasantly surprised).
Can't say enough good things about these windows! Order early though, because they're very busy and delivery times can vary. Addendum: We purchased both sets of windows before they were bought by Anderson. Cannot speak to the quality now.

I own a remodeling company Here In the Phoenix area That focuses mainly on window and door replacement. When We purchase A product for Our customer that we Have to wait 12 to 14 week for, It is very frustrating when the product shows up wrong and then you spend 8 hours on the phone trying to get answers from Heritage. They don't even Have instructions available for there different kind of multi slide door tracks available to Install, are we supposed to guess? THEN THEY SEND THE WRONG JAMS.And did I say after 8 hours we still have no answer.
I expect they will take another few days just to get someone On the phone that might know what there talking about or even cares. My customers get the best from us To bad Heritage ( Aka Andersen) doesn't care enough to Implement the same proseders. Well It took 16 days to get the right jams sent out to us. I would like to Thank Mike Turner Who we finally got to talk to after 8 days. Once we were put in touch with him he got on the problem and taken care of it. they need to continue to work on there customer service product is great.

What is going on with Heritage. They are so unorganized right now. I cant get them to tell me when I will be getting a door delivered. I have tried for weeks to confirm a delivery. I will have guys sitting on the job in hopes that they deliver a door tomorrow. This is something that would make a small business loose on any job. thanks for the extra labor cost and loss of income to pay for the overhead Hearitage. Your door just got really expensive if you do not show up with a door tomorrow

This company is nearly impossible to deal with. The woman who answers the phone acts a a customer service blocker rather than helper. We purchased a home with these sliding doors and to open/close them required the equivalent of a bench press. We finally found someone willing to repair them, but it took the company 2 MONTHS to send the parts. Even then they sent wrong parts which had to be returned. Heritage Doors and Windows is now owned by Anderson. Yet even Anderson can't help with the customer service nightmare that is this company. BEWARE!

I have all Hertiage windows and absoulty LOVE them. My home is like Luke Skywalkers uncles home, it is a desert tank. (we think the window were install around 1990) My electric bill is amazingly low, in direct 120 degree heat you cannot feel any warmth coming through, I was shocked when I moved in. We just purchased a new window for our bathroom glass block window.

Poor Customer Service! Purchased a $19,998.36 door package for my new house consisting of 2 sets of 8' French doors, 2 single 8' doors and a 20' x 18' pocket door. When the doors were delivered they delivered the French doors without the muntins. They returned and took the glass out of the doors for several weeks before returning them leaving our new build exposed.
After we moved in and I cleaned the glass I noticed one of the muntin French doors had black glue residue inside the pane as well as one of the single doors having fingerprints inside the pane. They sent a team to come out and look at the issue and I didn't hear back from them until they returned with a piece of glass for the French muntin door. They didn't realize until they were here that they had the wrong size glass and had to redo the order.
When they returned several weeks after that with the correct French door glass replacement I asked them about the glass with the fingerprints. The workers took the measurements and a few days later I was notified that I had to sign a "best attempt" contract that stated that they will attempt to clean the glass but if they damage anything in the process (ie the glass or metal door) that I am responsible monetarily to fix the damage.
Even though I was not required to do so with the French muntin door. I refused to sign it based on all of the previous mishaps and do not trust their "attempt" to fix their error. Apparently, according to a project estimator, since their inspector did not catch the 3 fingerprints in the glass then it was fine. So now I have a $1,736.18 dollar door with fingerprints and the manufacturer is not willing to fix.
This was my 2nd time using Heritage for one of our houses. We build every couple of years and have used Western for our large pocket doors in the past. Given Heritage's response to our complaint and the quality of the craftsmanship on past doors we will return to Western.
