Loved the selection and the ladies were pleasant and very helpful even though I walked in just before closing time.

By the Yard made all of the draperies in my house 19 years ago. Fast forward to 2022, I needed chair cushions to be covered. Just like 19 years ago, they did a great job. The staff was patient and knowledgeable, and the work was flawless. By the Yard has a great selection of in stock fabric and can order just about anything you want. Their rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend By the Yard for your decorating needs.

Karen helped me so much! She helped me pick the perfect fabric for my dinning room chairs. She has an amazing eye. I couldn't be happier with the fabric I got from here and it was so inexpensive. I literally can't thank Karen enough!

The staff was so patient and helpful. I'm slightly colorblind so I needed a lot of guidance and Annette was patient while we looked at every rack and cut samples. I took them home and placed my order over email. Now I wait a few weeks and they will pick up my 3 pieces and bring them back after 2 weeks. I will post before and after pics and give an update, but it's looking good so far!

Our entire experience from choosing fabric for 2 swivel chairs and a glider rocker to receiving them today was 5 stars! Annette was so patient with me, we visited the store several times to make our decision on the fabric- it was so worth it! Received our 3 chairs with matching pillows today (great delivery service!) and I absolutely love them! Thank you everyone!

We had the pleasure of working with Anette and she was so very helpful. We went there shopping for fabric to re-do our couches having already found a few individuals willing to do the work at average prices. As it ended up we learned we were able to save over $800 by having By the Yard just do all the work for us and we gained the value of a long standing business that guaranteed there workmanship.

A fantastic place to shop for decorating fabrics! I found just what I wanted at a reasonable price. The women working there were friendly and helpful. I recommend "By The Yard" to everyone looking for fabrics for their home!

I was very happy when I found By The Yard and worked with Annette. She took me around and gave me many samples but the one I picked was the first one I saw. Annette measured my corniches correctly without a lot of wasted material. The ladies in the shop were all very helpful and would go there again if I have a project.

I give By The Yard a 5 star because my husband and I went not really having a clue what we wanted for fabric to cover our cornices. Annette was such a great help! Gave us several different options and worked with us through out the time we were there. We would definitely go back! Thanks Annette!

I visited By The Yard for the first time 2 weeks ago and loved the selections and easy access to the fabric. Conveniently located with spacious parking. They have something for everyone color and budget. Samantha was very helpful and took the time to make sure I got all my questions answered. I'm definitely returning for my next project. When you go ask for Samantha, she's great!

My husband and I had an extremely large custom sectional reupholstered and these ladies walked us through all the fabric picking, I had several custom pillows which I wanted in white and we had a very hard time finding the textured fabric I wanted and these ladies found a fabric for us in no time and are excellent! I highly recommend if you are in need of upholstery fabric.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I wish I could give 0 stars. Nothing but problems for a chair I tried to have recovered. Took months to have it recovered. When I received it the fabric was on inside out. When I called to let them know they had the audacity to tell me THEY MEANT TO PUT ON BACKWARDS stating it would wear better. What a joke. They took it back and said they discontinued the fabric so they couldn't fix it.

Now I am left with an uncovered chair and a waste of 6 months as this whole process took that long! Worst part about it is the complete lack of customer service! They will only communicate by email and a response takes days and days to get. I have called them many times and have yet to get a call back. If you end up unhappy you will have a complete waste of 6 months and immense frustration and effort to get them to fix anything.

I was so happy to find By the yard after browsing through Tempe sales which is an absolute dump! Also had gone to Bocca bargoons which is nice but Way overpriced.also check the fabric in hobby lobby but there was basically no selection there. So when I found by the yard it was a perfect match they had the fabric that I liked for much less and the labor was half the price. Colleen was helpful in making the final decision.

The workmanship was excellent. She predicted that the items would be ready in six weeks and to our surprise it was ready in 10 days. I would highly recommend the store and Colleen and I will have future items recovered here for sure.

I had custom drapery made here several years ago. They were 2 inches too short. They fixed them, but then the did not hang right. They fixed them sloppily. We gave up and hung them in the back bedroom. Never again.

Great selection but very disorganized. Don't expect immediate assistance when you walk Through the door, and expect that they will have difficulty sorting through their own inventory. But don't let that deter you. They have hardware and fabrics that you can't find anywhere else and it's worth the slight irritation to get exactly what you want.

I found Helena at By the Yard to be very helpful today and clearly an expert in her field. She offered excellent fabric and trim suggestions for our coordinating cornice fabrics.

I met with Liz Connelly and she was so delightful with reupholstering my wing back chair. When I chose the fabric Liz gave suggesting that were so perfect for my chair. I would recommend by the yard and Liz Connelly for your decorating ideas.

While shopping around for fabric for my current home project I walked into By The Yard to check out their materials. They have some beautiful fabrics on hand and will give you a bigger than average size sample to take home if you need one. It's also great that they have a workroom and if they were to make the tablecloth the price for the labor seemed reasonable.

The fabric prices are high when you compare them to Jo-ann's but they have a better selection and some better lines. They could be more accessible though. I was there for awhile before they acknowledged me with an hello and it took them still longer to ask if they could help. Once acknowledged though they were helpful.
