Godby Hearth & Home began in 1987 as a subcontractor to the residential construction industry, providing manufactured fireplaces and related hearth products. Our showroom, at 7904 Rockville Road in Indianapolis, opened in November of 1990 and the expansion of products and services began. Homeowners can now engage Godby Hearth & Home directly and receive the same high level of product and services enjoyed by home builders and remodelers alike.
Godby Hearth & Home provides service on gas fireplaces and gas log sets. We employ a staff of trained professionals with decades of experience working on these gas appliances, grills and fire pits. Our standard gas fireplace "Service & Inspection" includes a thorough cleaning and inspection of the pilot assembly, air mixer, thermocouple, thermopile, burner, logs, millivolt wiring and gas valve assembly. At the time of service and inspection, our technicians will advise you about any parts that need repaired or replaced.
Godby Hearth & Home has established itself as the destination for high quality products and services in the residential construction industry. Called about a installation only. Won't do it unless you buy there stove. Which we did some research and they had a 2,000.00 mark up on the stove alone, almost 1300.00 just to come out and install which it didn't include the price of the pipe needed. Which was also explained thay it could be a couple hundred additional. I would Never recommend them.

Very professional, friendly, and cleaned up their work area. Learned information about my fireplace I never knew and now working better than it has for 12 years. Wish I had called this company sooner. Corey was a very knowledgeable and thourough technician. I was even on a call list to be serviced sooner if there was a cancellation, so the fireplace was repaired sooner than promised!

We are very happy with our new fireplace. We met several times with Kelly and Brian to figure out what we would be happy with. They nailed it. The installation crew of David, Jerry and Henry were absolutely the best we could ask for. They were prompt, professional, courteous and did an excellent job. We decided it was time to make the switch from wood burning to a gas insert. We did a lot of at home research and made a trip to the showroom. Kevin was our salesperson and did an outstanding job educating us on gas inserts and helping us pick the best choice for our home. Shaun came out and measured to make sure we ordered the right size unit. He was very helpful with questions we had about the install.
We put in the order on January 18th and had the unit installed February 11th. Jerry and Dave came out to do the install and they were great! They were super conscious about keeping our house clean and dry. (We'd just had a snow.) These guys know what they are doing! They were very efficient workers. From the beginning to the end, we are incredibly pleased with the process and everyone who works at Godby Hearth and Home!

Godby technicians are sensitive to the health of their clients. Our first visit was rescheduled because the technician had an elevated temperature and did not want to expose us to possible virus issues. When our fireplace was serviced the technician was very thorough in explaining how to use the fireplace, take the glass and screen in and out, turn the flame up. He made us feel safe in using the fireplace (new home to us). He cleaned up well. We are very happy with the service we received.

Had Godby Hearth & Home service our gas fireplace, as we sold our home and needed this completed as soon as possible. Cory was the service tech. He called to let me know he was on his way within the 4 hour window I was given. He was very professional and courteous. Cleaned, serviced and the fireplace looks as good as new, and works great! He also made sure I had all my questions answered and felt comfortable operating the fireplace.

The installation of our new Heat & Glo direct vent gas insert from Godby Hearth and Home was completed recently. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the process - from purchase to installation. Our direct vent gas insert removes the combustion exhaust and odors to the outside of our home, and the sealed fireplace now provides safe, clean, and efficient heat that we were looking for.
