We were looking for bricks to repair a fireplace. The Rep listened to our concerns then introduced us to Charles who searched his library of brick samples for the best match for our repair work. Following that meeting we spoke to Terry then Kevin who worked outside in the brick yard. Kevin patiently listened then provided options for the repair. I even learned a little brick language while we were there.
We purchased three straps of brick to compete our repair work. We definitely recommend Maisel a lot of experience, everyone is helpful, they enjoy their work. The price was great for our project.

We visited to look at paving stones recommended by our contractor. There are many different manufacturors products on display inside. But outside there are three times more to look at. I especially like that there are many layouts outdoors exposed to the elements so you can get a good idea of how they look under constant usage. The products are also clearly marked with metal tags.

We walked in with a big patio project, but the attendant couldn't have us out the door any quicker. In a minute, he managed to crush our patio dream! (LOL). Perhaps this was this one attendant only, but in general, they do seem tailored for contractors that know exactly what they are ordering (like a yard of sand or gravel, or "three pallets of x-paver") but not homeowners with complete patio projects like we had - which is understandable if that's their business model.
As for us, we ended going to the nearest stone-store competitor and got excellent service, guidance and, needless to say, got our 5-digit+ material order almost on the spot (and all future business, which somehow keeps growing after you start a project like this!). I'm sure we'll be back when we need gravel or sand, though.

Great selection of Masonary stones and accessories. The displays are extraordinarily helpful in visualizing what your patio will look like when it's completed. The only reason I did not give them a 5 rating is because the staff doesn't help in making stone selections. I had to bring my contractor along and we had to stomp around the pallets to look at stone quality and gather any samples.

Maisel Brothers would get 10 stars if Google would allow me to do so. On my first trip to Maisel I had ZERO knowledge about the differences in the stone options they offered. I spoke with Chris (one of the sales associates) and he patiently listened to what I was trying to do, and provided his expert opinion on which paver brands and colors would work best for my dimensions and to match the color of my house.
He told me everything I would need to get the job done, and even better they have everything anyone would need right there on site. I did not purchase anything on my first trip, because I had some grading to do, and didn't want the stone sitting around in my yard waiting for the grading to be completed. I returned about 10 days later to make the purchase of the base stone, sand and patio pavers.
This time I was helped by Terry. Terry was just as patient, knowledgeable and helpful as Chris. He answered my questions and gave me some great recommendations. He quickly got my ticket generated, and sent me on my way to the yard to get loaded up, and about 20 mins later. off I went with crushed run stone to get my base solidified. The next day I picked up sand and pavers.
The patio was completed in about six hours! Not bad for a weekend warrior who has never touched a paver! The patio project went so smoothly, a week later, I decided to add a seating wall. Chris was hands down the MVP of this wall project. He once again told me exactly what I needed, and gave me his professional advice on how to go about laying the blocks for the wall.
I started working on the wall and ran into some rookie issues. I called Chris twice and both times he took his time and enthusiastically answered my questions in great detail. I even ended up driving back up to Maisel for Chris to split several blocks for me, for my corners. While I was there, he gave me an impromptu demo on how to create corners.
I can't say enough great things about the folks at Maisel. I would 100% recommend Maisel Bros. for any and all of your hardscape needs. Those guys know their stuff and don't mind taking their time with each customer no matter your level of knowledge about the project you are preparing to undertake.
