Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Would not use them too many drunks work there

I read the poor reviews, but called them anyway to get a quote for some glass shelves for an antique china cabinet. They said they could do that over the phone, but when the gentleman came out, he was worthless. It's an odd shape, but he said there's not much they could do to help. I would have to measure it out and make a cardboard template, when I would hope that it would be his job to do that for me. He had a horrible personality for a sales person and was also sarcastic when I asked a question about sizes! Would never use this company!

Horrible, horrible, horrible how we were treated today by Mary first, and then Chuck. They've had our glass since 9/9, they are telling us each week that "it should be ready this week." Today was the scheduled. pickup day today, so we called to confirm before we headed over. Mary proceeded to speak so INCREDIBLY RUDELY to me about how they are "short staffed and we have no one to cut the glass!

I can't cut the glass so I don't know what you want me to say!" She went on and on, it was insane. She wouldn't let me speak hardly at all so I finally, calmly said, "please just have the 4 pieces ready for pickup and I will have them picked up." When I sent my guy to pickup, Mary scowled at him, .

Not recommended. I did my research and came across Kennesaw Glass & Mirror ("KGM") with decent reviews. Next, I reached out to the company for a quote and they readily provided one (under market value too). Next, they sent out an employee to measure our shower door/side glass panel in order to provide a final estimate. Apparently, when the employee showed up, he butted heads with our GC and refused to use a bracket that would have completed our project. Instead, the employee staunchly opposed our GC's instruction and stated he couldn't do the job.

Mind you, he could have used another highly-rated bracket that would have achieved our desired look. However, the employee retorted, "I have been doing this for thirty-six years and I know a thing or two." My GC reminded him that he too had been in the remodeling business for just as long and had seen hundreds of brackets used. Nevertheless, the employee refused to do the job or evolve his practices.

Following the failed final measuring, I contacted KGM and informed the secretary of her employee's behavior to which she did not sound surprised. I was transferred to another employee that scheduled another time for another employee to come out and measure as we both concluded that another person could reach a different solution and mount the glass as desired.

We waited five days for another employee to come to our house to measure. No phone call. No text message. No contact at all. KGM completely ghosted us (likely because their initial quote was too low). I don't know about you, but clear communication is imperative for in-home repairs and renovations. It was our experience that KGM did not hold up their obligations and we will not proceed with their services. We have contacted another company, First Glass, Inc., and have been very pleased. The difference between the companies has been night and day.

The quality of glass is very poor. I received my first piece of glass that was cut for a picture frame. When I got home and set it down, a corner of the glass chipped away. The second piece of glass shattered in mid-air as I was getting it in position above the frame. I am going to have to take the financial "L" on this one because two chances is enough to attempt to get something right.

*update* The company has ignored the damages they caused, and I would avoid using then at all. Sad that they refuse to stand behind their services. Called Kennesaw Glass to replace a double pane window. Installers arrived on time and I informed them at the door that we just had our floors refinished (sanded, stained, and poly'd). Well, the crew ignored my directions to take care and scuffed and scratched the floor around the work area.

They didn't put any protection down under the workspace to protect the floor thus causing the damage. I have provided them with an estimate for the refinisher to buff out the damages and recoat; it remains to be seen if they will stand behind their service. Will update review in due course.

I have taken multiple windows here to be fixed. Whatever it may be if you need anything to do with glass or window repair or replacement this is the place to take it. Think they also may come to you if you need them to.

Well, as we know kids will be kids and my 4 yr old little slugger broke our livingroom window out when I was on my way to work. Went to HD, Lwe and just about everywhere else. They couldnt cut glass, very odd. So I called Kennesaw Glass, they said sure it will be this price. I'll be honest it's been awhile since I bought glass. so I priced around, literally everyone wanted 3 times the amount they charged me.

The dimensions were no less than perfect. Very friendly in the office! I dont remember the gentleman's name but he was also really helpful to package that glass so it was going to arrive in the same condition lol. Marie was prompt to let me know it was available for pickup when it was available. I did however get charged twice, called and let em know.

They said it happens because of how certain payment methods process, so dont freak out ladies and gentlemen it will fall off after processing. I just moved out here not to long ago, they're a small but efficient business. Give them a try if you need custom cut glass. I'd give em 10 stars but it only allowed 5! :

I just had a broken window repaired and could not be happier with the service I received. Please note that it is Christmas Eve day and they came out to do it today because we could not do it when it was raining. Also of note is the fact that the window in question is an old school one with putty and I was really worried about even finding someone to deal with it. The price was great and all the employees with whom I spoke were so helpful. I would unhesitatingly recommend this company!

This is the second time I used their services. The first was 10 years ago to put in glass in custom cabinet doors. Beautiful job. Recently I needed a tempered glass table top for a patio table. Perfect fit, fast turn around, reasonably price. Very happy customer.

I needed to replace a few cracked panes of glass in some of my home's windows. Kennesaw Glass did a great job from start to finish. Everyone I dealt with from the company was pleasant and knowledgeable. The glass install went perfectly and I'm extremely happy with the result.

We are a small business and try to use other local small businesses whenever possible. Over the past 4 years, we've used Kennesaw Glass for our clients approx 20 times. While the glass product is fine, the service is severely lacking. Usually pieces are not ready the quoted day. Usually they don't call when projects are in. We learned to budget in extra days past their quoted time and to be proactive about calling them over the years.

Recently we had a project that required an exact pick up time. We explained on the phone during the order that in the past they've almost never met their quoted time so we need to be absolutely sure. He was a bit defensive and taken aback but said he understood. I was ordering tempered glass which they have to order in. They are simply the middleman.

He DID call the exact time it was due. Yey! But when my husband arrived, he was told the price was 3x the quoted (and usual) amount. Tripled. They offered no apology, no explanation beyond saying company they use has a minimum per piece of glass. This was contrary to what we were told and to identical projects we'd done with them in the past. Disappointed, my husband explained that we would have to use the larger (chain) glass company going forward but Kennesaw Glass didn't seem to care at all. - really the same attitude they have had the entire 4 years. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because it was partly our fault for giving them so many chances.

I ordered glass for a shelf. I called and got an estimate for the size I needed. I asked them to go ahead and cut the glass. I went to pick up the glass and was told there is a minimum charge, so the charge was substantially higher then I was quoted over the phone. I get the glass home and it was not cut to the measurement requested. They sanded the glass down to the size requested (and that they wrote on the order), taking a couple of additional days.

Kennesaw Glass did a great job installing our shower doors. Looks beautiful! They were friendly, fast and efficient.

I went there to get a piece of glass for one of my garage doors which I broke due to my stupidity. The pane of glass was about 9 1/2" X 37". I walked into the office with my Vietnam Veteran's hat on and I explained what I needed to the gentleman. He said have a seat and we'll have it for you shortly. I hadn't been seated more than 10 minutes and another gentleman came into the office with my glass.

I reached for my wallet and much to my pleasant surprise they both said "No charge, you've already paid with your service" wow! I was floored and what a nice gesture. Thanks again guys, I really appreciate your generosity!

Purchased glass tops for 2 round end tables. Ready in only 2 days. Paid less than 1/2 of what a competitor quoted!

My background is glass, curtain wall, construction, etc. I gave chuck $400 to set a glass shower door as it was too much for me at 70 to lift and install. What I got was an attitude that he had done thousands of these doors. The system I was using was frameless shower doors from Florida. This is a top of the line system. Soooo here is what I got. A door almost touching the pivot side of glass with a huge gap.

On other side. Chucks wisdom and arrogance has now put me in the position of drilling holes in the correct place to take the stress off the glass door an PROPERLY resetting the door. To make Chuck happy, he shoved the glass as far and tight as he could, ,i e tight one side huge gap other side in pivot. thanks for charging me $400 to move the glass inside the bathroom. if you want average and below go here.

I ordered a special thickness glass over the phone and they were so nice to just go ahead and order that for me without getting any payment or credit card number over the phone and after a few days they called and said it was ready. I went there to pick it up. Fast, nice and good work. I recommend it.

Shoddy workmanship (approx $200). Didn't smooth caulk and left gaps, not covering the edge of glass in the worst location for water seepage.

Wow, I am so incredibly impressed by this business. I worked with Chuck from day one, and I am very happy with his professionalism! I called and ordered four very unique cuts of glass after receiving a quote via email (they only took 10 hours to send me a quote and I requested it on a Sunday night). On Tuesday afternoon I placed my order and by Thursday they were done.

On Friday when I returned home from work (I travel for a living) I immediately left to pick them up. I called at 4 with just under an hour travel time left and I was told by a young lady to take my time. After some traffic I called back to see if I could make arrangements to pick up the glass outside so I didn't hold them up. Chuck told me not to worry that he would be more than happy to wait until I could arrive.

Finally I got there and was greeted warmly with my glass waiting. Perfectly cut to some strange measurements I might add. What they didn't know is that this glass was for a very sentimental project that was started by my mom almost 20 years ago. I can't believe it's finished, and with such wonderful professionals to boot. I strongly recommend you check out what this company offers should you have glass needs in the future!

The driver of the glass truck needs to slow down and stop swerving and cutting people off. On July 22, 2015, while traveling north on Cobb Parkway (6:15pm or so), the driver made about three or four unsafe lane changes, was speeding, and almost caused about three accidents. Are you really in that much of a hurry?
