Services
We provide quality stone through our 3 core channels of buying, education and distribution. From the beginning we sought to align ourselves with suppliers that believe in the same core values of quality and service. Our buying process sets us apart in the industry. We cultivate strong relationships with our clients in order to forecast future design trends -- this has become the gateway to our purchasing strategy. We hold training classes to educate our partners on the expectations of our products during the inspection, fabrication, and installation process.
At Marva we are dedicated to assisting you throughout the entire selection process of your material. It is our sincere promise to provide you with not only the best possible service, but also offer the best selection and quality of natural stones from around the world. At MARVA, your experience is our priority.
Granite lies at the forefront of sophistication and practicality. This natural stone offers the elegance and grace you desire, combined with the heat resistance and durability you need. Granite is the upscale kitchen countertop classic - and works perfectly for vanity tops, wet bars, fireplace surrounds, backsplashes, floors and wall claddings.
Often considered the mother stone of marble, travertine and onyx, Limestone's presence throughout history makes it the quintessential choice for modern day homes seeking old world charm. Often very dense and durable, Limestone is suitable for countertops, paving and wall cladding on both interior and exterior surfaces and has been used for thousands of years.

All around this was a stellar experience for me and my husband. We worked with their design consultant Joann. So professional and polished. AND, she knows her stone! In addition to explaining the different aspects of the stones Joann guided us with various design options based on the configuration of our kitchen. We experienced a few negative episodes with another distributor in Richmond but Joann made our experience with Marva a highly pleasant one. We would highly recommend Marva and refer our friends and family for their next countertop project.

Both Lynne and John at MARVA Marble and Granite in Midlothian, Virginia, are terrific! I am located near MARVA's Maryland distribution center, but as both Lynne and John are SUPER knowledgeable when it comes to the Neolith product, I was referred to them. I was intrigued with the Neolith sintered stone product after reading about it, and I thought I'd like to use it for my kitchen remodel project in my Florida home. Well, Lynne really sold me on Neolith, and John was wonderfully helpful in providing me a source in Florida to have the countertops fabricated. Otherwise, I was e-shopping all over the internet and getting nowhere fast.
I really appreciated how John went out of his way--after hours, too!--to describe the great qualities of the product and research suppliers for me who can fabricate and install it when I move permanently to Florida. To me, that is by all accounts going above and beyond when it comes to excellent customer service, particularly when he knew he would not be receiving financial compensation from me due to the distance between Virginia and Florida! Thanks, Lynne, John, and MARVA Marble and Granite! I'd recommend them because of their knowledge, expertise, and great customer service any day!

Wendy's customer service was outstanding! My husband and I had been to several other stone galleries in such of just the right color of granite for our kitchen counter tops. We were becoming somewhat discouraged with our findings. Some galleries had only 1 slab of our color choice, while others had what seemed like a good fit but we were only allow to view it for less than 10 minutes, which didn't really allow for thoughtful consideration for a relatively expensive purchase.
After closely listening to our request, Wendy took us outside to a view a lot of sequential slabs that had just arrived in the past 24 hours. She allowed us all the time we needed to view the front slab. We never felt rushed. It was perfect! We needed two slabs. To help insure that there would be relatively good consistency between the two, she made sure to highlight a note that we were to have both the viewed slab and the one immediately behind it.
When the two slabs arrived at our fabricator's we noticed that they were not consecutively numbered as we had expected. Fortunately, Wendy was on site when our fabricator called Marva Galleria about the apparent mix-up. Wendy shared that she assumed responsibility; BECAUSE, when the slab we had viewed was loaded for transport she noticed that the sequential slab that we were suppose to receive looked nothing like the viewed slab.
She had the handlers show her other slabs to the back of lot and selected the one she felt was much more consistent with the slab we had chosen. We are so grateful to her for having taken the time to go "above and beyond" to ensure we received what she knew to be our request! Our kitchen counter tops are beautiful.

Marva Marble & Granite, please listen Not to me. It's too late for that. We surrender. But fact is, we did not get what we were expecting. What we got was a milky Cambria countertop at least one value lighter than your sample. We also received an avalanche of customer service, including a factory-trained representative who might as well have been entertaining with cheap parlor tricks to convince me that we were happy.
We are not. When I saw the opportunity to actually speak during his "presentation", I asked if it would have been possible to see the Cambria from which ours was cut, he said he wasn't sure. And while it would be easy now to tell us now that the opportunity was available, forget trying to appease me. Please just make sure you consider offering the opportunity to future prospects.
We completely understand that Cambria is a natural product which may vary in appearance, and that presents all the more reason to offer clientele a shot at seeing what might be eventually installed in their home. I would venture that listening is a key component of quality customer service. While ultimately it's too late, if you care to respond to my thoughts, I'll consider it the first you've been kind enough to really listen. And thanks for the coffee mug.

If you are looking for stone check out Marva first. They have a wide variety of stone in the warehouse which you can browse at your leisure. The customer service is amazing. I had forgotten to take pictures of my selections but the day after my visit I received an email of the stone I was considering along with a picture of each one. It was those pictures that I compared to other samples. I eventually bought my stone from Marva and it looks amazing in my kitchen.

By far one of the best Stone yards & showrooms in the Richmond area. They allow you to explore the indoor showroom of slabs by yourself without a salesperson breathing down your neck - although a salesperson is just a short walk away should you need any help or have questions. (Lynne C. was very helpful.) There are comfortable places to sit & fresh coffee and water available if you desire any.
It's quiet with nice background music and no forklifts to dodge - they have an integrated overhead crane that's nonintrusive. You'll also receive an e-mail with photos of the slabs you liked. Overall a great place to visit and select your new stone. Highly recommend!
