Greer Awning & Siding, Inc., established in 1958 by Grover L. Jones, has been serving the Upstate from our Greer location with a complete line of exterior home improvement products. As the only aluminum awning company in Greer since that time, Bill Jones, his son, has owned and operated the business since 1972. The family tradition continued when his sister joined him in 1978 to help manage the business. Local craftsmen fabricate and install all the residential and commercial aluminum products.

I had three (3) awnings installed at the end of July 2020. All was well until I noticed wet floor, wet walls and mold on the ceiling in my dining room, not used a lot until Thanksgiving. Tried to( 11-29-2020)call with no luck on Friday after Thanksgiving(11-27). Called Monday morning to report the leak and talked with Larry. He stated he would let them know.
No return call that day. I realize they're probably busy and called again on Tuesday ((11-30-2020) at approximately 11:30am (ample time for them to return my call). Talked with an older man (not a gentleman) who I found out is the boss. He refused to listen r even let me finish a sentence. All he cared about was telling me they installed them 6 mths ago (actually 4 mths).
He said he'd call me back and at 5:45pm he called back to argue with me again. He rudely told me I should have called a week after installation and not this late because they do this and that and it wasn't their issue. I tried to tell him all is want is for someone to come look at this and just fix it. I'm not expecting money for damages. His response to me is "I'll look into it" I asked him point blank will it be this week and his answer was "I don't know if it will be this week: I told him I had waited 2 days for a call or someone to come out.
I told him I have commitments. He then kept telling me he didn't know how it could leak into my house! He must think I'm an idiot! I got upset, started crying and yelled at him I just wanted it fixed and I'm not asking for money. I hung up on him! Today, Wed(12-2-2020) I drove to the business and when I walked in Larry was at he counter and he confirmed I had talked to him.
He confirmed I had talked to the boss Tues. I told Larry I wanted to apologize in person for my hanging up on him yesterday. The man was less than 10ft from me and refused to speak to me. He told Larry to tell me he'd look in to it. When I asked Larry why, he said the boss said he'd look in to it. I once again told him I would pay to have it fixed, I just need it fixed! Customers beware!
Once you've paid them they're done with customer service and you! I have already filed a complaint with the City of Greer. BBB is next. DO NOT LET THEM DO YOU THIS WAY ---MAN OR WOMAN!

Had an awning installed and gutters. Its been a few years ago. Had my gutter come lose in a storm so I called them to repair and they were very hateful when they told me to call someone else for repairs. I didn't expect them to fix it for free. I just need it fixed. I guess they get your money and then think they don't have to be nice anymore. Hard for me to reccomend anyone this hateful.
