We opened our doors in 1948. N.Q. Cline Sr., our founder, started the business to provide hose assemblies and service to automotive and industrial customers. He worked out of a small house on Atwood Street in downtown Greenville, assembling hoses inside and using the front porch as a loading dock. In 1950, as hydraulics began to replace wire cables and winches on bulldozers and front-end loaders, Cline Hose & Hydraulics became distributors for the leading hose, fitting, adapter and coupling OEMs.As industries went metric, Cline followed suit, while adding a flexible metal hose assembly facility for welding and fabrication.
Our knowledgeable hydraulic specialists offer service that is of the highest quality possible and meets or exceeds OEM specifications. We offer hydraulic cylinder repair, cylinder machining, remanufactured hydraulic pumps, and valve repair at our Greenville South Carolina, and Augusta Georgia locations.

Years ago, a K9 officer from Travelers Rest walked into Counter Sales, looking for some hose to train his new dog. That initial encounter tur. We raise funds for the Connie Maxwell Children's Home every year, to make sure these orphans have a better start. We also sponsor the Shr. We sponsor anti-drug and underage drinking ads on local radio stations one week a year to help raise awareness in our community.

I honestly can't say enough about the guys here. First time visit, unbeknownst to me, one of the owners of the company was working the sales counter and helped me work through some difficult hydraulic problems dealing with fittings which were no longer made. This has been the case on more than one occasion and might I add that no other vendor in the area was able to help find a solution. Very knowledgeable and courteous staff. Definitely above average in all categories!

I had a hose bust on my skid steer and dingo within minutes apart from one another. In a panic I called and spoke with Brendan Sanchez and told him my issue. Within minutes he had their mobile hose specialist Ben Keaton call me. I couldn't be more impressed! Ben came out very quickly and made repairs and improvements to both hoses! He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly! Highly Highly recommend Cline Hose and Hydraulics!

I couldn't figure out how to review your online division, but I really wanted to leave a review. My words won't do justice for the efficiency and how pleasant this experience was. I have been trying to find a solution to custom hose need for about 2 months and these guys got me taken care of with an online order! A person contacted me the day after my order to ask if I had a preference on the orientation of my fittings before they crimped them, an hour later I got an email with a tracking number & the price was much less than I expected to pay. Thank you guys!

Cline Hose and Hydraulics is a specialty shop. If it has anything to do with hoses and their fittings they can help. These guys are very helpful and take the time to listen and make suggestions for the best solution to the problem. I have had hoses repaired and have purchased other hoses on several different occasions.
