NEVER, EVER, EVER order roof trusses from Menards / Midwest Manufacturing! We were in the middle of building our own house, ordered trusses that took months to get delivered, arranged for the boom truck and crew to install, got several installed and then realized how poorly constructed they were! Anyone who has any idea about building knows you don't just stop in the middle of installing trusses, so we proceeded and decided to deal with the issues later.

We thought Menards would stand behind their products, but NOT. Even though Louise Fox's title is Guest Relations, her secretary said she doesn't take calls from customers! She only communicates through email, at her convenience. DO NOT waste your time with them, it will only aggravate you to no end. Seriously, find another source for roof trusses. Menards makes enough money, so losing one more 30-year loyal customer does not matter to them at all.

Very unprofessional. Had no idea when my countertop was getting made and was 2 weeks late. Plus I had to reach out to them to see if they will be on time with my order. Hopefully Menards gets a different vendor then this place.

Horrible customer service. They made a mistake on the trusses I ordered, and all they can say is sorry for over charging you on a structural end truss we don't try to make mistakes, no offer to make things right. Thanks Gabe, you've lost any of my future business

Unprofessional, lacking time management, and hardly communicates with other people&businesses. I ordered a countertop for a customer and was told it would take an estimated 3 weeks to arrive. After 4 weeks, the order hadn't been put into production. After almost 5 weeks, I went to Menards and was told only half of the countertop arrived. The other half was pretty much lost for 3 days.

I found out later that they didn't even ship it, but they had updated the tracking status as delivered in full. It's been almost 6 weeks now and I still don't have the other half of the counter. Throughout the entire process they have hardly communicated with me or Menards. The only way to reach them is through email and that usually takes many hours or days for them to respond.

Terrible company and terrible customer service. If I could give 0 stars I would. They do not stand behind their product and think of every excuse not to cover under "limited warranty ". It took over 3 months to get a reply, and when you do get a reply they do not answer your questions. Don't waste your time or money!

If I could leave zero stars I would. This is a terrible company. High end countertops came with red dots and a burn hole. They DO NOT CARE. Menards will not stand by their product either. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

This is one of the worst companies I have ever worked with. We purchased a Mastercraft Door from Menards in April. The door started leaking water immediately from the window. They sent a replacement window to install. Which I had to do myself, and after spending hours installing the window it also leaked. I then had to remove the door and return it to Menards for a new one. Paid twice to install both doors and on the third attempt to fix it, the window still leaks! They are offering another door to repair the issue, but don't the door design. Avoid buying Mastercraft if you can!

Second time burned by this company - never again! First time I purchased "room in attic" trusses that had tails randomly the wrong length -- they had to drive down from the factory to fix the problem, and did a poor job of that. Now, I bought 19 columns for a post frame, and the "loose" boards at the top are nailed in place -- right through the board!

My wife called the company and they told her to "bang the board out with another board". She tried and it was impossible. She called back and this time they said to "pry the boards apart, and cut the nails with a sawzall". So I am supposed to do demolition work on these columns -- weakening the column in the process -- before I can work with it? And what about the time required to do this? They also said they don't know of any other company that doesn't do this, but a quick look at RR Buildings on YouTube shows otherwise. Horrible company, steer clear.

If you have the ability to go somewhere else, you should. This manufacturing facility seems to be very disorganized and is not customer centric in the least. We ordered a countertop through Menards, and two weeks later, we received the incorrect template (very different). One week later we received the correct template. When the counter finally arrived almost a month later than anticipated, the installation kit showed up incomplete (missing the color match caulk AND the silicone caulk that was paid for).

Another week's wait and we FIALLY received the order. The customer service is slow and is not very helpful when it comes to fixing their own mistakes, had no sense of urgency to get us the correct template OR the components that they did not send.

This company is a complete joke. We spent $2,200 at Menards on patio pavers. We installed our new patio which had 4 different types of blocks. As we were installing the we were finding many of the 16x16 blocks to be crumbling, but because Menards over estimated on the design it we have way more blocks than we needs so we were able to pick through and find what we thought were the "good" blocks.

Once all were installed and locking sand was on, while doing the required plate compactor more of the blocks began to crumble apart and one of them even has plastic poured in it. So while we were returning the extras to Menards we ask about the defective ones that were installed. We were told we could return them. Hummmm No, they were installed in a patio.

We are not prepared to tear apart the patio we just worked so hard to install. The manager at Menards tells us we need to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer is Midwest Manufacturing. I set up a chat and the result of that was it needed referred to customer service where I have to explain it all again in an email which was about 3 weeks after the chat. (Yep, it took them that long).

No response to that email. I get a letter in the mail saying we can remove them from the patio and exchange them at the store. Again Hmmmmm NO. so I email asking for the manager, where BOB WALTHER emails me and again I had to explain everything and send the pictures again. Only for him to respond with the same answer. When I asked for the owner's contact information I get an email that states "At this time I am closing your file.

If you change your mind on our offer for replacement pavers let me know." What a HORRIBLE company. I have filed a complaint with Menards and the BBB in hopes that this company be held to producing quality products. It is not like they are selling something that can simply be exchanged. I want them to do the replacement.
