Masterpiece Staircase

Just received some great advice from Steve with Masterpiece Staircase. I'm trying to retrofit a new iron newel into an existing hand rail. Sent an email to Steve with pics of my project and he called me back in about an hour and gave me some free advice on the steps to go through to get everything working. It's great to meet and speak to someone that is not out to only line their pockets, but has a desire to help others with good advice. Will definitely recommend Masterpiece Staircase in the future.

Steve met with us shortly before Christmas last year as we were in need of replacing a stair railing in a short time frame. He graciously worked with us to design and schedule the installation within our timeframe. His installation team led by Jon did a great job with the eye and skills of a true craftsman. Couldn't be happier and would highly recommend Steve and his company.

Steve was amazing. I needed balusters to pass a home inspection for adoption and he made it a priority to send out a crew to get the job done. I had been chasing another company for 4 months and he made it happen the same week as promised. The installers even took into account existing flaws in the staircase when doing their work. Very quality, very thorough. Someone that keeps their word and that's hard to find. I cannot thank him enough!

Steve and the entire team at Masterpiece Staircase were a pleasure to work with. We were in a difficult situation because our previous contractor had absolutely no clue how to install our new stair treads and spindles. The Masterpiece team provided prompt and clear communication. They also followed through with all of their promises and installed our custom staircase in less than 2 days. I highly recommend them to anyone who is considering a new staircase.

After dealing with wobbly stair rails since we bought our house 3 years ago and not having luck with another contractor I called Masterpiece, thinking that our job may be too small for them to take on. Steve was wonderfully friendly and helpful from the start. After sending him pictures of our stairs he was able to give a rough estimate on the time and cost over the phone.

The person who did our work arrived right when he said he would, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and did great work. We were pleasantly surprised when the work took much less time than estimated and Steve made sure that was reflected in our final bill. I would highly recommend this local company.and just look at the pictures of some of their work on their website! Very impressive!

I had 2 staircases that needed railings and banisters redone. Larry did a great job on them. He worked with me on getting it done by the deadline. He arrived on schedule and got the job done in 2 days. They take pride in their work and you can tell by the finished products. I would recommend him and the company to anyone.

Steve and his team at Masterpiece made the process of replacing my staircase painless. They arrived at the appointment time, were courteous, did quality work and cleaned up prior to leaving. The price was competitive with other estimates that I received. This was a rare good experience with a home improvement contractor.

I highly recommend Masterpiece Staircase & Millwork for new or replacement staircase projects. Steve provided design suggestions and reviewed the all of the specs with us for accuracy. Steve, John, and Larry arrived on schedule to complete the demo and rebuild - and the entire project was done in 3 days as promised. They did a great job of keeping the work site organized and the finished staircase is BEAUTIFUL - excellent craftsmanship and high quality materials.

Steve did an amazing job with our stairs! Our project was on the smaller scale, as the stairs came down into the kitchen, plus we had railings and balusters upstairs. The oak wood as well as the skinny posts and broken thin balusters were old and dated and just not attractive coming down into the kitchen. The custom posts he built as well as the nice mission style wider balusters and larger railing transformed the entire look! Also, he did a great job on the upstairs section as well.

As far as reliability, Steve and his team show up when they say they are and came back to complete the job in a timely manner. A few days after the job, we realized we were missing one piece of cove molding and we called him and he came out the very next day to handle it. We would use him again and would highly recommend him! He was amazing!
