Staff here is very helpful, great service. Selection of different thickness woods is a little limited.

After I got a piece of trim out of the scrap pile I used their saw to cut it to the length I wanted and then when I went to pay for it. The employee said he saw me cut it and charged me for a full 8 feet piece as if I got a pristine piece off of the shelf and cut it. He said there are signs up and I guess he watched me cut it without saying anything so he could prove a point.

I work here and I absolutely love it. Especially greeting and getting to know the customers and also being one of the main builders in the front is an absolutely wonderful experience. I cannot wait to greet you guys and show you the proper attention of getting taken care of the old school fashioned way. unlike some know how to do. I'm all about blowing up a good business the proper way and this place has been around since 1908. And oh my God I absolutely love it.

Highly unimpressed with this lumber company as far doors go. My contractor had suggested to use them to get me new doors for a remodel (he said that they had been good in the past) but after 4-5 months of countless mistakes delays and so much more I wouldn't recommend them if they were the only door shop in the state. Multiple times doors were made the wrong size even though the original doors were taken in to use so measurements wouldn't be an issue, had to take back 3 doors which two of them got made wrong again then after all that and painting doors come to find out four of the door handles didn't match the striker notch by an inch or more (that's on me for not catching to have them remake, but even then i wouldn't of wanted to wait 3-4 months for those!).

But how do you mismatch doors so badly when given the original doors!? I'm beyond frustrated for the amount of money they charged for what are suppose to be a higher quality modern door, and then to run into so many quality issues. Oh and also one of the doors is already splitting at the top!

I have ordered lumber/doors from Wheelwright many times. Staff is very straight forward and wont beat around the bush and give you bogus lead times which I appreciate. They tell you how it is and I prefer it that way. Only issues I have ever had is with delivery drivers (dropping $3K worth of timbers in the street not stacked neatly at all). Lumber has always been pretty darn good in my opinion also. Wheelwright supplied the rough sawn timbers I needed to build this Pergola and the Tongue and Groove for one of my projects and it turned out great.

First time here. Couldn't find what I needed at lowes or home depot. Called over and asked if they had 2x12x16 boards in stock they did. Told guy at contractor counter what I needed. Paid for them and went out to the yard. Guy on forklift was quick to assist. He went and grabbed the wood and a few other employees helped finish getting me loaded. Super impressed with the team work and customer service. Thanks!

These guys are awesome! Ordered the lumber I needed to frame my basement with them at 5 pm on a Thursday and they delivered it 9 am the next morning! Faster than Amazon Prime! Everyone I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. Will for sure be going back to these guys for future needs. Oh, and they had better prices than others I got quotes from. Thanks Wheelwright!

Super selection. Great tools! Quick service. Even hard-to-find specialty items for the contractor or DIY-er, like Cobalt drill bits and lots of Makita!

Went to look at interior doors and they gave us a bunch of catalogs and samples to take home. Definitely ordering from Wheelwright on our new home!
