Ordered a custom fence from a very professional salesman who ordered through one of their (trusted) vendors. Fence arrived with a small damaged part due to negligent packing by vendor. Bottom line: vendor nor Hatch & Bailey, who put their name behind the vendor, wouldn't own up to making good for the damage. We'll never buy from Hatch & Bailey again, for they don't stand behind their products & can't be trusted. Hatch & Bailey's loss is their competition's gain.

I've been coming to H&B for a while now, and I've found that through talking to some employees who are polite and helpful btw none of them are being paid fairly and seem to get a lot of extra work thrown on there plates. Salesmen have left and all signs have repeatedly pointed to management. I can see why when I do come for my occasional supplies I don't see a lot of customers on the property. Maybe treating employees correctly might help with better quality service and material

Wrong item was ordered by salesman which i am stuck with. when discussed with salesman pete carlo he became mean and nasty. throughout the rest of my large renovation (12 doors, windows, lumber, hardware) he would never return my calls! recently asked for a copy of bill for warranty and tax purposes and it came without the company name and my address was wrong. was hung up and left on hold when i called for a corrected bill. have now learned that most people who work there are crass and uneducated.
