Services
There is no significant weight difference in the composite cowling and the original Cessna metal cowling. The cowling and individual parts come with STC paperwork. All parts can be sold individually or as a kit. Most, but not all, individual parts will replace existing factory parts. The cowling is ready to bolt on.
Selkirk Aviation produces a fiberglass glare shield for single engine Cessna Models 170 through 207 (all years available). This FAA approved glare shield is light weight, not affected by sunlight and has a deep grain "leather look" finish. It overhangs the instrument panel by 3 inches. We recommend glare shield lighting by Superior Panel Technology.
Selkirk Aviation has provided many Cessna owners with interior kits over the years. Below is a photo of Al Malecha's Cessna 185 of Sierra Vista, Arizona. Al flew his plane to Coeur d'Alene to have this Roberts Grey interior kit installed. This picture was taken of the rear view of the interior of his airplane after the custom installation.
