Services
Robert K. Hasselblad, founder of Hasselblad Lumber Sales, began his career in the lumber industry in 1959 managing Friesen Lumber stud mill in St. Helens, Oregon for his brother in law, Ernie Friesen. The company grew and in 1975 his oldest son, Robert, joined him. Younger son Steven following in 1983.
At Hasselblad Lumber we supply mill-direct oak and douglas fir timbers in dimensions up to 12 x 14 x 20'. Oak is a strong, closed-cell hardwood that is naturally resistant to rot or decay. This, combined with its high stress ratings, makes it a desirable option when compared to less dense hardwoods from other U.S. regions. In addition, oak is an affordable alternative to high-priced apitong or other exotic hardwoods.
