Woodworker's Depot

I love this place. They are not afraid to ask you what you're doing and suggest another or different tool for the job. It saved me some money.

Always fun to look at the wide selection of tools machines wood kits and project accessories they have. On the sort of downside the owners are retiring with everything 10% off. They are trying to sell the business.

Went there based on the recent advertisements they were having a liquidation sale. NICEST people ever! OMG.you rarely find that kind of honest, no-BS assistance in retail anymore. I hope that a new owner can be found and keeps the place as well organized and honest as it is currently. It's kind of a trip for me to go there, but I'd definitely give them my business again.

Always very knowledgeable and willing to help. Goes the extra mile to find info or items that aren't big moneymakers for them. Just plainly cares about every customer.

I've never had a bad experience here. Staff has always been helpful when asking for advice on tools.

I purchased a very expensive piece of equipment. First, 2 key components were missing. I asked about the missing components and they said I should call the manufacturer to get them. Um, no. They ended up calling for me. Then, after getting to the register; a $60 higher price rang up. They removed that, only to add $70 for a shipping charge for the unit.

I was in the store for about 2 hours, and no shipping charge was discussed. The sales guy helping me was really good. Not super knowledgeable, but that's okay. We all have to start somewhere. The store does have the "yard sale" feel. Counters, clutter, machines, tools everywhere. Labels over labels of items, and many missing items from aisle shelves. I am not a big fan of egos, which is what I got at Woodcraft, but I'm also not a fan of clutter (tripping over items in walkways) like shown in Woodworkers Depot.

Great prices on power tools. Think big machines like table saws, jointers, etc. There hand tools and accessories are definitely lacking. Maybe its due to covid. Lately the staff have been very helpful.

There is a great selection of everything woodworking here! I was a little unprepared for this visit otherwise I would've probably ended up buying too much! The prices are very fair as well. I will take more time next time in this store.

They've got a good selection and decent prices, but their customer service is horrible. I'm an experienced woodworker and know exactly what I want when I go in, but each time I've gone there the guys tell me how my choices tool or product is bad and that if I don't buy festool, I'm wasting my money. No one, especially hobbyists or aspiring woodworkers deserves to be shamed for the tools they can afford.

I'd recommend buying online long before I'd shop with them. I've shopped there doezens of times for the convenience, and have had no good experiences with the few guys that work there.

I went here to purchase a finish, and it appeared there was 1 person working and he was having a legnthy conversation with someone about football. I was able to find the section with the finishing products and found what I was looking for. I spent about half an hour in the store looking at other products, never once did the salesman stop his conversation to see if I needed help.

I went up to the counter and the employee did not stop his discussion to ring me up. The only words said to me were "$18.97" and he continued his conversation. I then proceeded to leave after my purchase as they kept babbling about football. I returned 2 weeks later to look for a different product and nobody there said a word to me and I couldn't find what I was looking for.

One employee walked right past me and didn't even make eye contact. I have never been more disappointed with customer service in my life. Looks like I will be making the drive to woodcraft next time I need something.

This store's employees are very helpful and the service is great. I needed several special products to finish my hardwood floors that the store didn't carry because there is limited distribution of the particular products I was using. The staff at Woodworker's Depot went out of their way and special ordered the products for me so that the products arrived the next day and I was able to finish the floors before I went out of town! Really great service and thrilled they went out of their way to do this. Made a big difference for me.

Fantastic selection and the sales person on our first visit seemed very knowledgeable which was very important to us because we are novices and looked past his overbearing-quirky personality. When we returned to purchase dust collector, another sales person tried to talk us into something completely different. When we got him on track we discussed some features of the collector and all the necessary attachments we would need etc. Unfortunately neither sales people bothered or were not aware that we would need a 220 service and the collector was set up to be hardwired. Now we need an electrician.
