Wastash metals is the worst recycler they make up reasons not to take your scrap like having an HVAC certification there's no such thing and then when I tell him that they tell me okay well you need a letter from your boss all right I thought taking id was what they needed that's what it says on their website but they don't go by their website of course and they don't go by what all the other recycler go by they make things up like HVAC certification

We're not a big user user but when I need product I always go to Wasatch, very easy to order online and the staff is always very helpful. Last year I had to buy a bunch of plate to build some planter boxes for my wife and the price was very competitive and the cuts they made were perfect all I had to do is weld them up.

This company is so easy to deal with super knowledgeable they knew what I needed, even tho I didn't (driveway plate). Easy to order. With it being over 400lbs it needed to be delivered. They were able to do it next day. Delivery driver was there promptly at 9 am. Driver went above and beyond and helped us move it into place. I'm beyond impressed. I will recommend this place to everyone.

I really appreciate the wide selection of recycled and cutoff steel stock. Much of the time I don't need new stock and can save a bundle by browsing the stock yard. Many of the common sizes of tubular, rod and sheet steel are available in consumer sized pieces at reasonable prices. The desk people are surprisingly helpful, usually I expect trades people to get a warm welcome but someone buying $12 worth of steel still felt like a welcome customer. The yard guys are less gruff than typical, I know retail is not their bag and appreciate it when they come out of the shop to sign your ticket.

I am constantly disappointed in their lack of customer support. If I place a quote request online I get no response, if I email them directly I get no replies. If I go in to pick up an order I have to listen to Lynn bad mouthing every customer that goes out the door. Totally unbelievable they are in business still.
