The best place in Salt Lake if you need a reclaimed door or door hardware! They also have a wide range or other reclaimed materials. I wish I would have learned about them sooner! Very reasonable in price and helpful!

This place is chaos and I love it. Highly suggest visiting even if you have no idea what to get. George is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

George is passionate about antiques and salvage, and very knowledgeable. The place is crowded and slightly disheveled, and an absolutely delightful cave of wonders. Like the best used bookstore, but for doors, windows, and hardware. If you like the thrill of the hunt, this place is definitely for you!

George has been instrumental in helping my wife and I find some antique pieces for a pioneer house we are restoring. Always helpful and fantastic to work with, it's always a treat when we can rummage through this collection. I agree with some of the other comments about better organizing the store so we can browse more freely but then again George knows what he has and doesn't seem to have any trouble finding anything we requested.

I think he mentioned something about expanding his floor space into another building which would be very helpful for people without a specific grocery list. We are truly grateful George does what he does and saves these treasures from going to the landfill. Highly recommend if you appreciate old but quality American hardware, especially if you have an older house that you want to keep it authentic.

Been to Georges a number of times over the years and have never been disappointed. If you've got an old place and need something for it, George has it. Bring your own flashlight and grubbies and plan on spending some time searching but you can bet what you're looking for is there and George can probably point you in the basic direction to get started. The place is a hoot to rummage through and you'll probably end up with a lot more cool stuff than just the stuff you thought you needed. Happy hunting!
