I felt they were upset that I called. They must be busy enough to disregard customer service. I was laughed at for asking questions. The tech wasn't sure what an inverter was. The person I was told to talk to, according to the tech, doesn't do phone calls. I will spend more money and travel out of town before I take any tools to this business.

I was directed to Powerhouse Distributing by Powermatic for warrantee repair on my brand new Powermatic 16 inch wide belt oscillating sander that the belt runs out the side of the machine on startup. Powermatic tech said Powerhouse Distributing would contact me within a couple days and fix my sander soon after. I waited 3 days for Powerhouse to contact me before calling Powermatic for an update. Powermatic tech assured me that they would check and verify that Powerhouse would call.
I waited 2 more days and then called Powerhouse. The Powerhouse tech said he just got back from vacation and he was busy. I asked him when he would be able to work on my sander and he said maby in a week and a half on a Saturday. I said I understand he is busy and asked him if I should call back the day before to verify if he was coming on Saturday to fix my sander.
He told me he was busy and not to call back at all. I am not sure if Powerhouse Distributing is going to fix my brand new Powermatic sander, I am just hoping the technician shows up sometime on Saturday and fixes my $7k sander. Also, I am never buying anything else from Powermatic/Jet with their horrible customer support I have been waiting about a month now for my brand new never used sander to be fixed. I am leaving the rating at 3 stars for now with hopeful optimism that my sander will be fixed soon.

Is there a negative star? Go here if you want to be treated like you're a nuisance and your tools to collect dust and be forgotten about. Then call to check status and listen to them holler to one another about how they haven't even looked at it, can't find it etc weeks later. Unprofessional. Unorganized. Waste of your time.

Customer service is terrible. Guys on the phone don't even act like they want your business and your just bothering them. I had made several orders with them and Jim had promised me free shipping if I spent over $100 in parts each time. They've charged me shipping every time I've ordered. I'm also supposed to get a discount on Flex parts because I'm a dealer and have never gotten that discount. If you can get your parts anywhere I'd suggest doing so.

Flex and PowerHouse are first class! I sent my 3401 in for repairs and some of the parts needed to come from Germany. It took longer than anticipated, But when the machine was returned to me "No Charge", the reason was their apology for it taking longer than usual. Excellent products and Superior Customer Service. You can't go wrong with Flex!
