I have to give this company credit for being very good at customer service prior to making a purchase. However, after our purchase was done and delivered, their service has been completely awful! I do not recommend this company based on my experiences!

I greatly encourage anyone to purchase from the Art Factory. They can make anything for you. I bought an awesome carved door from them 10 years ago and now I'm adding on so I bought a second door from them.

We were told that we could not have a wood door in a northern climate. We wanted a round top "Castle" style door. We found The Art Factory and in Scottsdale and we could not be happier. It has been 7 years since we have had the door installed. It remains a beautiful feature that greets everyone who comes to our home (and is a wonderful conversation piece).

We do some light touch up on it yearly to maintain it and it is our hope that the door will remain long after we are gone. The design staff and follow-up team have all been wonderful to work with. The craftsmanship on the door, speaks for itself. It is top notch! Thank You!

I purchased our Front door 6 years ago, and was told it would be 6 to 8 months before we would receive. I, like everybody chose to hear 6-months. It was All of 8 months and it was delivered and once we put it in, Was, and AM, Very Happy with our Entry. We get comments every time someone walks through it, or up to it. Any time I need oil, or anything Karla has always responded and sends me whatever I need., at NO CHARGE. Calculating "exactly" when a CUSTOM door, or anything else, custom made will really be done is hard.

Sometimes it is a good guess and sometime you have to wait for "quality". Why is it when we people order something we are always ready to understand but after we put our $ down "we want it NOW." I have been dealing with Scottsdale Art Factory for 6 years now on projects, and Never been disappointed in the End results. I continue to refer my Friends and clients, as I feel they do Quality work.

I ordered the most beautiful hand crafted front door handle from the Art Factory! Karla was a gem to work with and held my hand throughout the process providing guidance and feedback. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a unique art piece for the front of your home or business!

I inherited a 300 year old French chest that was missing eight of the pins that hold the metal trim pieces. I sent one to ArtFactory hoping they could make some new ones. Instead, one of their employees who is a collector had almost identical pins on hand. They refinished them to match the old one. After replacing the missing pins, the chest is gorgeous! I'm thrilled with their work and extremely helpful attitude.

I had this company make me furniture many years ago. They did a beautiful job and the people we're nice to deal with. I don't know what happened to this company but now the people there are rude and they don't honor their guarantee. I wanted to have more furniture made for my new home but now how horribly I got treated, I'll go somewhere else. This company went downhill.

Was able to customize an existing design for my specific installation. ArtFactory was helpful from start to finish, great designers and excellent quality product - only negative was a delay in the promised completion time that got frustrating. But art like this takes time, and my new fixture looks like it was made for my dining room.because it was! If you have a unique home and a discerning eye, and want to work with like-minded people, ArtFactory is the place for you. Worth every penny.

DO NOT WORK HERE! My husband was working VERY HARD everyday and apparently they had "everyone" tested for COVID-19 on July 20th well he went to the hospital that SAME day to get tested! They had him quarantined until his results came back clear WELL he was and HIS RESULTS CAME IN JUST YESTERDAY August 11! He called them this morning to let them know he's cleared to go back only to get told he'd already got terminated and there's no return because it took so long! WTF!?! HORRIBLE COMPANY TO WORK FOR! SHAME ON YOU ALL

I can't say enough about the quality and craftsmanship of the doors we purchased. The carving is intricate and beautiful. We started with a design they had in pictures and added a few touches of our own including animals our kids picked out. The glass turned out perfect as a privacy glass, easy to clean and still lets in light. Our house doesn't do the doors justice yet.

We have plans to redo the trim in a larger profile and have the color picked already to match the doors. We look at the doors every single day and are glad we have one exceptional, standout piece of art to push us to finish the remodel. Definitely would recommend. I also would like to comment on a few of the reviews as I read nearly all of them in making a decision to go with a company from the internet. ArtFactory's name is a little misleading - they do more business than a single crafter - so I guess 'factory' works, but their people on staff are master craftsman and it shows in the work.

It took quite a while to get the doors, and it was worth the wait - I'd likely not recommend this if you're on a tight schedule - there is no rushing something like this to do it right. Sending the price of a small car by wire to a company I'd never seen was a bit of a leap of faith, but it was rewarded with a beautiful product that a few extremely talented people put some serious labor of love into. Things I looked into were the Google Map of their physical location (checked out), their many, MANY pictures of completed projects, all their reviews, and finally calling (more than once) and talking to more than one person in their studio.

It all checked out and gave me the confidence to pull the trigger. If you're considering it, check them out for sure. Working with the designer provided an excellent sketch of the final product, quality and craftsmanship were great, shipping was perfect, and their follow up on my questions regarding the installation and care/maintenance were quick. Pictures show the exterior with one coat of the protective finish they recommended after going through a winter (the really cold kind with lots of snow).

The Art Factory made our front door for our new mountain home. The door is a piece of art for sure! The neighbors marvel at the size and beauty. The people at the Art Factory are passionate about their craft and are very helpful. It's the talk of our community and inspires awe in everyone one who visits.

For a US Military project I was tasked with replicating (6) WWII Case knife door pulls. After communicating with several other local east coast artists who said it could not be done, I turned skeptically to the internet. Scottsdale Art Factory website and samples projects were of a caliber that if set them apart from their competition. With just pictures and simple measurements of a museum knife the staff spent countless hours perfecting the design and crafting 6 custom pieces art, that also function to open doors.

The accolades and complements I received when the door handles were placed on the doors secured me several new construction projects. All my future custom door, handle, gate, work will be from Scottsdale Art Factory! Outstanding Job!

Our door from Art Factory is the center piece of the new entry to our home. We always receive complements on the beauty and uniqueness. The installation contractors have have commented that it has the best craftsmanship of any door they have installed.

Excellent service from start to finish. The salesperson was knowledgeable and very helpful in explaining the options for my custom project. The drawings produced prior to production allowed me to fine tune my design. I self-installed the doors and found it very easy due to the excellent craftsmanship of the doors and surrounding frame. The quality of the thick cypress doors exceeded my expectations and the handcrafted hardware complemented the doors perfectly. From start to finish, including the delivery of the doors, I could not have been more pleased.

We are extremely satisfied with the workmanship and quality of our Art Factory entry door. When you contract with a company that custom designs your dream project you just have to know that it will take time and there can be delays. This is not a 'fast furniture' factory but a business of designers and artisans. You must have patience. Art Factory worked with us through the planning and design phase, where we changed our mind on numerous occasions and had to back-track.

No problem. Change this, change that, make this larger, move this over there. it didn't matter. It was our door and our design. Art Factory worked with us to get us what we wanted, and when it arrived on our doorstep (the freight company was very personal by the way), we knew it was worth the wait. The craftsmanship is professional and of artisan quality.

This is truly 'old world' craftsmanship and it is wonderful to see it in today's world of instant gratification. Whatever it is that you order, we feel sure it will be an amazing piece that will be with your family or in your home for generations.

When making a change to our front gate we reviewed several vendors. As we live in Palm Desert, CA, choosing a vendor in Arizona may have created problems. After several discussions with Scottsdale Art Factory, we knew they were the right choice. The gate was complicated and took 6 months, but certainly worth it. If you are not local it is best to have an installer that really knows what they are doing and that they are in contact with Scottsdale Art Factory. The measurements are critical and can not be changed. Once installed, all the neighbors are quite impressed and I enjoy looking at our gate every day. Bev Bryant

I used them for hand made pulls and grills for my custom garage door. The products are so much nicer than the store bought ones that were offered by my contractor and they are made from true wrought iron, will not rust like steel. They look spectacular on the doors. They are a custom shop, so it can take time and effort. Their process lacks a little transparency (have to call for updates on the orders) - and you need to be able to wait for the products.

Another reviewer called it "old world" and it describes the process well. Order far in advance if doing construction if you need something by a certain date. I could not order my garage door from them for this reason, but the decorative items could be added whenever they were completed. The blacksmiths hand make each item, so you have to be very specific with your measurements.

You can't return if it was made to specs. If you care about craftsmanship or need custom work, I cannot recommend them more highly. The quality of the products is amazing.

Scottsdale Art Factory was amazing. I requested a quote on line and was contacted almost immediately to work out the details. They guided me through exactly what I needed (without their expertise I would have ordered the wrong type of door handle). The quality of the handle was top-notch. The delivery was very quick, especially given that it was during the holiday rush. I will definitely use this company again.

We are remodeling our home and I just could not find a door knocker that matched our vision. I found the Scottsdale Art Factory online and within a few days and exchanges, I had a unique design that fit our vision perfectly. Now we have the finished product and we could not be happier. The craftsmanship is wonderful. And, it's hard to describe, but the uniqueness of the handcrafting gives the piece a sort of personality of its own that you'd not get from a mass produced piece. We are so impressed that we are going back for custom andirons for our fireplace. Very, very satisfied customers!

I had to match and reproduce custom 100 year-old door pulls for large church doors. I finally found ArtFactory as one of the few companies who would be willing to undertake the task. I spoke to Karla who was very accommodating and helpful. Once I got the door pulls, they were beautiful cast iron and made to the exact specifications and measurements I needed. Wonderful, handcrafted workmanship. I will use this company again for my doors and hardware.

IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM IS THIS COMPANY WORTH DEALING WITH. Paid on JAN, 10, 2018 to Art Factory Michelle Savasta-Hardas, a payment - $1,636.20. Company Roger Raw continuous lied and intentionally deceived me, telling me project would take 7-8 weeks to complete. On February 12, I called Mr. Raw to check status, as he was flatly ignoring all email requests for quotes on other items I wanted to have made.

On Feb 12, he stated that the project on the front door hardware was half done. I called one month later, on March 12, and he said the project wasn't done yet. He said it would take another 1.5 weeks. I called back, believing him to be lying to me, and I asked him in depth in regards to what had actually been completed. He said he orded a lock set.

I asked if he completed specific items: the front door handle- he said no; the front door speakeasy-he said no. In other words, save for ordering something from another company, Roger Raw and Art Factory never did anything at all with my project in 2 months, despite tha fact that I paid them upfront and that they were telling me they had done work, which was fraud.

I called back on March 21, 2018 an talked to a general manager who was not allowing me to tell him the problems with the order. I told him that the other items in the house being built were dependent on his company performance of their agreement to perform their contract to deliver to me the items specified. He said I had no contract with them and that they had never agreed to do anything project.

A comple utter sham, since they had my full, paid in advance money in their bank account. The company as of this moment has stolen my money for 2 months, lied to me about doing work for me and massively caused problems with other work that depended on them to complete their work. This company fraudulently induced me to send them money, and they had no intention to perform on their agreement with me.

BEWARE! This company is the opposite of good. My husband and I purchased a door from them for over 7500K! and it is falling apart already! My husband has tried contacting them to speak to Jerry but he never returns calls or is "busy" or "not there". Karla tried to help once then my husband never heard again. They are crooks and liars! Our friend also purchased from them a dining table and it came damaged AND SUPER LATE!

But they refused to fix their damaged table. At that time our door was already in "production" so we couldn't cancel. Now we have this terrible door and are exploring other options. Not to mention our door was 3 months behind because of a "wet winter" funny though because our order was before then. Do not believe their site of "guaranteed to last forever" because it is not!

They should be ashamed of themselves for taking money and sending such an outrageous piece of junk. For the money they charge you think your safe with what you get, but no way. Go elsewhere!

We are still waiting for our door. We ordered it in October of 2013, seven months ago! We keep calling and they keep pushing back the delivery date. But why do we need to call to find this out? They should be letting us know. I am starting to lose hope, I hope to not have to take this to a lawyer.

Waited forever to finally receive our door. Upon arriving, didn't have any installation instructions and sill did not fit. Have hired several people to try to install the door properly, one being a door manufacturer and cannot get this door to work. Is not weather tight. at all! We get wind, rain, snow, bugs. you name it. The panels on the doors are leaking, the sidelight has cracked due to pressure. we are told.

They will not stand by their products at all. can't get any response from them other than to tell me it's not a warranty issue and wasn't installed properly. I had a door manufacturer install this door. I would not deal with this company. The door is pretty. but that's it. Stay away from Scottsdale Artfactory.
