We bear something in mind when we reclaim the sources of our livelihood: we hope to still be useful when we're old. And look really, really good. Our reclaimed lumber allows customers to bring new life to old barn wood. At Elmwood, the reclaimed wood products are available in an array of options including wood flooring, paneling, countertops, and shelves.

It's not always easy and we work long hours, but at the end of the day we produce something that's easy to believe in, feels great and will last for generations to come. New and reclaimed wood samples are available for most of our wood products, so you can see if the weathered wood paneling works as an accent wall in your contemporary farmhouse design! No matter what your home decor, it's nice to plan your new diy project with a real wood sample for peace of mind.
Plank widths, thickness, custom treatments, the scarcity or availability of a particular wood and lots of other variables affect the price. But we treat every order equally. An order for two pieces of Heart Pine cabinet lumber gets the same care and respect as a flatbed of Old Growth Cherry going to a country club in Connecticut. And we think you'll be pleasantly surprised at prices, overall. Especially when you consider the lasting beauty of the product.

I was interested in installing pine floors in my new home in Northwood, NH and wanted old growth heart pine. After much research I came upon Elmwood Reclaimed Timber in Peculiar, Missouri. It was scary spending this money for something sight unseen. After corresponding with John Yingst, my sales rep, I felt confident in placing the order for my floors.
Best decision I made. Also went on to purchase reclaimed barn board for an accent wall. Floors and accent wall are gorgeous, I couldn't be happier. The quality of the material is outstanding and I can appreciate the workmanship put into reclaiming these beautiful reclaimed boards for another chance at bringing such beauty into a home. I have to share this story with you. It is not every day you get the opportunity to meet and do business with people and a company, where their word and a handshake is all you need. I had done a lot of research on just the right product for our kitchen island counter top. I did not want another piece of stone, I needed a statement piece! Something that would make the kitchen, the true heart of the home. Elmwood Reclaimed Timber was my go to for this job.
They are clear on the other side of the Country from me, but after talking with Patrick, he assured me they could package it and get it shipped damage free. It showed up and it was beautiful and exactly what the kitchen needed. We placed it on the island and immediately noticed a fairly big warp in it from the short side and the long side. I talked to Patrick the following day and sent him pictures to show the issues.
I offered to try and work with it and see if we could not get it into shape. After about 10 days, it was very apparent, the warp was there to stay. Patrick called to check up on any progress. I brought him up to speed and he said he would ship me out another piece, but thicker this time. I asked what the cost would be.he said nothing! I was in shock, he could of easily walked away, left me disappointed, and saved a ton of money.
Instead he put me first! We just received the new piece and installed it. It looks AMAZING! I am so grateful for such people in the world. I am going to have them do my new fireplace mantle. if you want to be completely happy with a company and their true craftsmanship, use ELMWOOD AND ASK FOR PATRICK!

My husband and I just received our beautiful Elmwood tabletop and we could not love it more! We worked with Pat and Connor and they made our experience excellent from start to finish. I first started working with Elmwood Reclaimed Timber in 2011 when we were searching for reclaimed barnwood flooring for our home. John Yingst and the entire staff were so helpful and their product was incredible. When we decided to build a new home this past year, we knew we wanted to work with Elmwood again. This is our third house we are doing with Elmwood Reclaimed Lumber and our experience has been nothing but excellent. The first one was a solid walnut that we finished ourselves and the other two have been engineered lumber. The floors are super easy to lay and look fantastic. The quality of the wood is superb and the customer service outstanding. Patrick has been our sales rep each time and he is not only knowledgeable but also super easy to work with.
The deliveries have been on time and very professional. Christine works that end and has always been very friendly and communicative. All in all we have been completely satisfied with the product, service and execution.

These guys are amazing. They have requested me to wait more and add an additional crate! Why not? Sure I said and they helped me to change my load for more space! If you're good everyone is good and love to help people! Great company, great professionals especially the guy helped me to load and get ready for the road again.
