Outstanding service, products and prices. Lol, we had our kids with us and they were hyper as could be, but none of the employees ever looked preturbed, always smiling. They will definitely be my go to for hardwood projects.

My daughter had a school project in which she needed 5 small pieces of different woods. I had no clue where we were going to get all of them. Some local folks at 84 Lumber referred us to HH. I called them up and they told us to come out, they had everything we needed. We got a tour of the warehouse while we located what needed. They were so helpful & kind. They supplied us with all of the wood we needed & also some additional items to support the research project. Thanks guys!

Great place. And for a hobby guy like me they have a great scrap "cut offs" room. Very neat and organized. Friendly guys and friendly office guys who don't seem irritated by guys like me who aren't buying 100's of board feet.

We were recommended to go here for some good quality plywood for our pantry cabinet project. The selection is unreal. Rough lumber, s4s lumber, beautiful plywood, and cutting/planing services available. The guys were very helpful and super nice. Definitely going here for my project wood in the future.

Best prices for S4S milled lumber, but you need to take your time and be picky with the boards in-stock, keeping your project requirements in mind. Overall, friendly staff, good prices, and great selection.

My goto place when I'm looking for some nice wood for my projects. The selection is amazing and love that I can get rough cut so I can mill it myself to what I need.

I have purchased from Houston Hardwoods twice now and I am just as satisfied with them as I was the first time. I needed quite a bit of a lesser used wood. I bought about 100 board foot of 16/4 basswood. Don't let my usage of board feet etc throw you off, they are helpful to beginners or the advanced. They have lots of choices for all sorts of different projects.

Small or large. The wood I needed was in the back storage area at the very bottom of the pile. Was that an issue? NO problem. I waited while they used the forklift to get my stuff. No grumpy faces or attitudes. That makes a real difference. Also, if you need your wood milled, their prices are VERY reasonable especially compared to the hardwood store in the Heights.

No ridiculously high setup fees. They also have mantles in different species wood of that is what you are looking for. I was helped by Junior for my latest purchase and he took good care of me. I will continue to buy from these guys! They even asked for a photo of my finished project. They have made me a happy customer.
