We love our shelves, perfect match with the rest of the furniture and everyone who visited our house noticed them and asked where we got them from. We mainly need them for books. They are nice heavy shelves, all wood, authentic, . my husband had to add few more things to make it more stable to the wall as the shelve is very heavy as well as the books. it looks beautiful and it is exactly what we wanted. We choose special walnut. If you are looking for solid wood floating shelves buy those from J Thomas Home.
