We recently moved into a new home and had a dry-bar built. We knew that, even though this wasn't a huge project, we didn't want to go with one of the "big box" stores that tend to have poor service, but being new to town we didn't know the best place to turn for the stone countertop. so we turned to Yelp and came across Stone Store. Adam responded promptly (two other companies didn't even reply), worked with our budget, was straight-forward, friendly and provided excellent service. Going with The Stone Store over a big box home improvement store paid off; communication was great throughout the process, the installers and measurement guys were polite, clean in their work space, on-time and efficient. a huge contrast to every experience we've had with the two big home improvement stores during this particular move of ours.
The installers even came across an error (made by the cabinet guy, not Stone Store) but didn't piss and moan about it. the just corrected what needed to be corrected, swiftly installed the counter correctly, explained what they had to adjust to make it right, and were out of my hair within about an hour. Even though I'm sure this wasn't a very big project compared to Stone Store's other jobs, we were treated well and are so satisfied with the process and the finished product. The next time we need stone, this is our go-to place and should be yours, too.

Stone Store did our Quartz install for IKEA cabinets. Communication was great from beginning through install. Everyone I dealt with (scheduler, measurer, installer) were extremely professional. They arrived at the exact times they said they would, and met all dates they committed to. The fit of the counters were perfect. The installers were fast and left nothing behind (except great looking counters :) Highly recommend.

To be fair, Ceasarstone is a good product we fell in love with, never really liking granite. We chose a ginger remnant for our master bathroom vanity & paid $250 deposit 3 months in advance (Oct.) to hold it for when the renovation was in that phase of construction. Tile & paint colors were chosen around the vanity. The project began after Thanksgiving 2014 and dragged into Jan./Feb. due to holiday shut-downs.
We started making contact with the Stone Store rep Dec.23 & were told installation should be no later than mid-January. Our construction supervisor, who didn't have an account with Stone Store, had started asking when they were available to install so he could schedule the plumber, etc. We received a call from Stone Store saying the piece reserved was too small for our 5 foot vanity, so panic mode was set.
The rep said they had ordered a whole slab, since it was their mistake, and it was on a boat from Israel, delivery date unavailable. Or, we could choose from a couple other remnant colors he had in stock. After several days passed, we chose another remnant color to prevent delaying the project. We never received a follow-up call asking if the new color worked for us, but our credit card was automatically charged the balance owed.
Only when we followed-up with e-mail stating dismay with the process, we received apologetic e-mails & a phone call, but no offer of discount for the dilemma. We have chosen to move forward and enjoy our new bathroom. The darker color shows more lint, hair, etc than perhaps the lighter color would. If you choose to use Stone Store, follow up regularly to be sure your product choice is available.
Their major business is with IKEA and we were just a small walk-in project. I hope this review helps others from the headache we endured. I am giving them a generous 3-star rating based solely on the quality of the product. It would be nice for suppliers to recognize homeowners are left with these choices long after they have moved on to the next job.

So far so good. We are doing an Ikea kitchen remodel and it turns out these guys are contracted to install the quartz counter top we ordered. I first spoke to Kim who scheduled for Alfonso to come out and measure. I have since been contacted by both David and Jose who will be onsite this Friday to complete installation. I will update my review based on the positive experience hopefully.
