I bought a gate opening system from Gate Openers Direct about 10 maybe 12 years ago. I got a control panel/box, an outward swing arm, a gate lock and a few remote controls. About 6 years ago I added a keypad for family and guest to get in. Then about 4 years ago I added a second keypad to get out. Here I am years later and my system is working like new.

This system is able to do so much. I am not tech savvy, so when I run into things that I want to add or do to this system that I do not understand, the customer service at this company is impeccable. They walk me through everything until I get it. I could not be happier with a company. They get 10 stars.

I bought an opener for a swing gate form this company a week ago. The staff was very knowledgeable and recommended the system that I needed. I'll have to say that the equipment is very nice quality. I've had a couple of tech questions that they answered promptly. I had another question today and called while I was at my gate and spoke with Jay. He walked me through the process of programming that I needed to do and in a matter of minutes we had it programmed. The customer service is excellent! I would highly recommend them for all your operator needs.

Great experience, highly recommend. These guys are experts and are extremely helpful. I emailed a couple of pictures while explaining our issues on the phone with Jay, and from that he accurately recommended a compatible replacement radio receiver card for our gate opener and they even set up the wiring on the card like the old one had been so it was basically plug and play install.

I ended up also purchasing new batteries for my unit as Jay could tell in the picture that my unit still had the original batteries which were far overdue to be replaced based on the date of install. The advice of replacing the batteries is appreciated, as Jay informed me that if you let the batteries go bad fully the opener completely stops working. So this suggestion should get us several more years of trouble free operation.

Jay at Gate Openers Direct was Great to work with and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Very quick to respond to all of my many questions and concerns that I had on a automatic residential gate opener. I wanted it to be App controlled, keypad, safety sensors, etc and he set me up with everything I requested. Jay also recommended an installer who turned out to be Awesome as well.

I have had the unit over 4 years and with any question I have regarding programming or understanding the unit they have been extremely helpful. Not only very happy with the product but very happy with tech service.

My landscaper accidentally cut the power line from my gate opener to the control box mounted on my fence. I called Jacob at Gate Openers Direct who told me that the manufacturer did not offer a replacement cable for this unit, but he asked me to bring the unit to him to look at. He was able to provide a home-made replacement for the cable, and installed it in the unit in about an hour. I think Jacob is a magician! I highly recommend these folks!

Worst experience of my life. Yes, that's a bold statement. $2000 down the drain. I was sold a FAAC hydraulic arm for my swing gate which replaced my lift master. He said it was the best for the money. He had his recommended installer JG Iron install it. It worked for ONE day. I called JG Iron to come and fix it with no response for two weeks. Gave up on JG Iron and filed with the BBB and they still have not responded to my claim. Called Gate Openers Direct, which stated: "Sorry we are wholesalers, you will need an installer to fix it." Yeah well your installers are dead beats. "Oh sorry to hear that, Call this other guy".

I did and he came out and I had to pay him $150 for the service call! Broke the next day. Came out a week later and "adjusted it" and it broke the next day. 3 months later and guess what. Still broke! Getting another lift master installed by another company who actually stands by what they sell. Thanks for nothing you thieves! That includes you and your installers! Update: Regardless of your comment two things happened. 1.

Your representative stated he couldn't help and that I had to get with your installer. 2. The installer "Iron Fence" came two times, couldn't fix it then completely stopped responding at which time I had your other installer Robert come twice and couldn't fix it. Try again. BTW. My liftmaster has been working flawlessly the past year on the same power line which makes your argument void.

Always great to visit a business where customer service is their #1 priority. Tech was very helpful and knowledgeable. We purchased the equipment we needed for our gate and then some.
