This company did a demo/buildout for me and my ex wife. A new master bedroom with all the extras, walk in shower with seating for 3, toilet, a bidet, double sinks, mirrors everywhere, and even a urinal. The room turned out awesome! Unfortunately the marriage went to shit. Now I enjoy the room with whoever I please, whenever I please. Thanks for the great room, it's pretty much all I have left. I love women and they seem to love me and my master bedroom!

I have worked with Brian Allendorfwr for 20 years. He put a new flat roof on a Bldg downtown for me. He rebuilt the entire inside of a new hone which was falling apart after the builder went bankrupt and every day the home was immaculate. Just replaced 11 Pella windows amd everything is perfect. Brian Allendorfer is a great company. We used them several times at our condo for projects including maintaining our roof, waterproofing the outside of our building & fixing leaking pipes. Brian is very knowledgeable & I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a good job done on time, with polite, clean & a hardworking team.

We first worked with Brian Allendorfer Company three years ago when we had some bad roof leaks in our condo building. We had 3 contractors come out to give us an estimate. Two of the three of the contractors said "yeah we can replace your limestone caps" you'll be all set after that. Brian went above and beyond and pointed out several issues that needed to be addressed.

He immediately pointed out "Oh I bet you're leaking from here and there", and yup he was right. The guy knows leaks. Over the next few months Brian gave our building several options for doing the repairs, he met with our board and condo members to answer their questions and concerns too. He was patient and helped us figure out how to finance this large project.

It took awhile for us to get the project started and finished (weather, etc), but I think that's just the nature of working outside. The majority of the work was done over a year ago, and since then we haven't had any issues with the repairs, no leaks. Over the winter in 2021 we had an INCREDIBLE amount of snow the melted in the course of 1-2 days.

The rapid melting caused us to have a waterfall in our building's garage. During that time Brian's crew was stretched thin responding other leaks (I'm sure other buildings had similar problems during that time). After sending him a video of the water fall, he was able to send someone that day to mitigate the issue. We also have a proposal from his company to address the root cause, a project we plan on doing before the next winter.

After doing several projects with Brian he's my go to go for repairs and he's a trusted vender for our condo building. I'm not being paid for this review, I wasn't asked to write it but after reading the negative reviews I felt that I needed to share my experience.

They made great recommendations for tearing off and re-roofing my house. Quality was evident from the start. They were very considerate in coordinating the debris from the roof tear off and keeping our site clean at the end of each day. I love the finished product and they were very cooperative with wearing masks and abiding by current Covid protocols. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Allendorfer replaced the roof on my detached. garage and they did a fantastic job. Great communication throughout the process. The job was completed in the time frame quoted and came in on budget. The roofing crew kept the site very clean during their work and left it cleaner than they found it. I highly recommend Allendorfer for any roofing project. Very satisfied customer.

Brian Allendorfer and his Construction Company did several jobs for me over the years on a property I owned in Chicago. From roofing and gutter repair to tuck pointing, brick wall repair on the side of a building to laying a new concrete floor in a commercial garage. Additionally, he did interior repair from water damage and electrical wiring to meet current commercial codes. Brian provides a detailed cost estimate and description of work that's to be done.

His construction crew is on time, hard-working and they leave the premises impeccably clean. I highly recommend Brian and The Allendorfer Construction Company without hesitation.

By far the best experience with a general contractor. Scott the was our GC and was very professional and always made himself available. They did a wonderful job from a complete tear down and rebuild of front facade of building. Everything went smooth from new store front windows and doors, epoxy flooring, HVAC, and remodel of lobby. Scott worked directly with our bank for estimates and pay schedules and took care of all of the permits.

Brian and Scott are amazing. Had an areas that I needed a quick assessment on and they went above and beyond to make time based on MY needs. Superior customer service. They were personable, quick to respond, and came with multiple long-term solutions to solve a roofing problem. Allendorfer Roofing has found themselves a recurring customer. I highly suggest using.

We had a leak in a flat section of our single-family residence roof and the Brian Allendorfer Company accessed the damaged area and determined that the section of roof needed to be replaced due to water damage to the sheathing. They provided a fast quote and were able to work our smaller job into their schedule even with the effects of COVID19 on their workforce.

The crew that performed the work was very professional and was able to complete the job in one day. They also did a great job cleaning the area and did not leave any trash or debris behind. Would definitely use this company again and would recommend to others for roofing needs.

We needed a full tear-off and replacement for a Lakeview 2-flat and the team B Allendorfer was excellent. Professional, but more importantly. experienced and detail oriented. We had 4 quotes, reviewed all, and do not regret working with these folks. Important to note, like all other roofers, scheduling did take a while. but based on my 'research', that seems to be a reality for all roofers. Highly recommend!

I am writing an updated version of my previous review of the company. While the entire staff was courteous throughout the whole process, after paying more than $3000 and two rounds of fixes my roof is still leaking. I personally reached out to the owner Mr Brian Allendorfer for a third follow-up. While he was prompt in his initial response and promised to send a crew to check for a third time, the third visit never happened.

My further inquiries towards him and his crew were also ignored. So now not only my roof is leaking, my wallet is also much lighter than before for no reason at all. I understand that fixing roofs can be complicated. But the issue here is the company's inability to follow up on its services and deliver a satisfactory product. Would encourage prospective clients to look elsewhere.

I am sorry to have to write this review. This company came out in late April after a tree fell on my garage. They repaired the garage roof but not the obviously damaged gutters. When they left with the gutters not done, they said they needed to provide me with a separate quote for the gutters. Annoying, but I dealt with it. I paid the 50% deposit for the gutters but months have gone by with no show/no call.

I called them multiple times. A few times, I was promised they would be out by the end of the week, or the next week or whatever, but no. Never. It is now July. Now they aren't answering my calls at all and won't return messages. On my final call, I requested a call back to return my deposit. Crickets. I had to contact my credit card company to protest the charge. Not good.

We had worked with the Brian Allendorfer Company in the past and had great results with the repairs they did on our roof. Unfortunately, this winter we had severe damage caused by ice dams which caused water damage in 2 rooms of our home. (I should point out the roof dams were not a result of anything wrong with the roof but a result of the particular pattern of weather events.) The Allendorfer Company could not have been better!

They were immediately responsive, even though it was a weekend when the damage occurred. Brian personally sent two teams over the weekend - one to remove the snow from our rooftop and the other to begin the process of drying out the wet drywall, insulation, floors, etc. We used the Allendorfer Company for the entire reconstruction process, which included new insulation, drywall, painting, electrical work, and sanding and refinishing hard wood floors.

We could not have been happier with the level of service and responsiveness. The house now looks better than before, and with their help we've put a great plan in place to prevent this from ever happening again. Highly recommend Allendorfer Company and will definitely be using them in the future.

I'm so disappointed with their non-responsiveness. They installed a rooftop patio several years ago and a few of the wood boards have started to rot. I called and they sent someone to look at it and take pictures, but now no one will return my phone calls. It's been over two months since I first contacted them and the problem has only gotten worse. This isn't what I would have expected from this company, based on my initial experience with them when they installed the deck and a new roof.

I recently had this company do our second floor bathroom. Just beautiful! There were a couple of things that needed some tweaking after it was done but they kept coming back til it was done. Have to say that their estimator Scott Is a great guy with a great attitude as was Marcio.thanks.

Great Roofing Contractor, we were building our new home and he was the most competitive pricing and he did an excellent job of scheduling and getting his crew out to get the job done. Roof looks fantastic. Crew was fantastic workers. It has been a year and half since the install and everything is solid. I dealt with Brian the whole way. Great communication, great person and definitely a pleasure to deal with.

I had an amazing experience with this company. I replaced my roof 6 month ago on 3 flat in Bucktown. Crew did great job and Brian in the office was always available to answer any question I had. So far the whole process from beginning to start was smooth, with out any complication. It took them two days to tear off existing roof and put brand new.

After job was completed they cleaned everything. I forgot to write a review for them, but today when my insurance adjuster and siding contractor was inspecting the house for hale damage they mentioned that roof was done very well, but they saw a soft spot and told me that I should contact contractor. I called Allendrofer and told them about soft spot on the roof, so they coming on Friday to look at it. No questions asked, they will come take a look and fix whats needs to be fixed. True professionals!

Thank goodness for Brian Allendorfer Company. I live in a 6 unit condo building which is just over 10 years old. The flat roof was of poor construction and last summer one of the 3rd floor units began sustaining significant damage due to water coming in from the roof leaks. We realized we needed not only a new roof but also a rebuild of the 6 foot masonry parapet.

As a self-managed condo association, we had no less than 8 different roofers and masonry companies bid on the roofing and masonry re-work. From the outset Brian Allendorfer Company stood out. Brian provided a very detailed masonry and roofing estimate. He came to several of our evening condo meetings to answer various questions. More than that, he and his team were able to deal with some particularly difficult and picky residents.

I think many companies would have walked, but Brian continued to work with us. Many Chicago area condos sustained hail damage in early 2011, so they were backlogged as it was, yet he continued to work with us. Brian was able to get our 2-week long project in before winter set in, a true feat given the length of time our association spent vetting and working through the various proposals.

I can't say enough how glad I am we chose Brian Allendorfer Company to do the work. He and his team were professional, always positive, and very responsive throughout the process. I would highly recommend Brain Allendorfer Company for any roofing and masonry work.

We hired Allendorfer to do a project at our condo building. I've been trying to provide some reviews of contractors I've worked with in the last year or so. I was the condo board president, so I ended up having to call multiple contractors to get bids on various projects. I'm sort of sick of people on Yelp complaining about family businesses not calling back right away.

These are relatively small companies, they're not huge multinational organizations that can return all calls right away. If you're hiring a roofer or plumber or whatever, yeah, it's annoying if they don't call back right away. The trick is to get the cell phone of the person who comes out to do the quote or the manager when they're doing the project.

Then you're not calling the office, where they may not have a full time person anyway, and then needing to get a call to someone in the field. Realize these guys are climbing on roofs and stuff all day. Sometimes they can't answer the phone. It's not like an office job. Anyway, I'd rather hire someone who's BUSY, not someone who's sitting around waiting for the phone to ring.

We got 4 bids for the new roof on our condo. Allendorfer was about $3K more expensive than the other bids but clearly explained WHY. On a $15,000 job the extra $ was worth it. Especially for something paid out of condo board reserves with the remainder split among 6 people. They came out, got the work done, cleaned up the mess. When I sold my condo last month, the buyer's inspector told me that the roof was perfect. I wish they were a little cheaper but you pay for quality and experience.

Called twice in the past 27 hours asking for a call back to get an estimate on our roof repair and garage roof replacement. No call back, so no work for allendorker & co. from me. Man I'm getting tired of dealing w/trades people!

Bad business practices and very high prices - manager/owner is pretty absent and doesn't know what is really going on. STAY AWAY FROM THEM! I got ripped off.

Since I am the one without a job I get to meet and greet with any contractors when we need work for our place. I decided to call this company to get an estimate for our damp garage since they are right around the block. After taking one quick look at the interior of our garage roof the first words out of his mouth were "You need to have this all replaced".

It was at about that point that I started zoning out of the conversation. I don't feel that our roof needs to be replaced and I don't want to spend the money doing it. The inspection continued and he suggested several other things such as tearing down the three cinder block privacy walls on top of our garage. I made it clear that we wanted to retain those walls for a future deck.

Most of the jargon and the descriptions that I was given, it felt like it was over my head. I'm a girl, I'm not a roofer, speak to me in layman's terms, please. Well we just got our estimate for the work required and the total comes to over $11,000. I think not.
