We trust that value is found in those things that will last a lifetime. It takes nature over a hundred years to grow a cherry tree to maturity, and the objects we make from that tree should last at least as long. Our solid wood furniture is built to serve several generations, handcrafted in Maine using sustainable practices and materials, and guaranteed for the lifetime of the original.

The furniture here is pricey, but between the look, feel, and craftsmanship it is well worth it. We bought two rockers last year and were thrilled when they were delivered in time for New Years day. The staff is helpful without hovering - a very relaxed showroom experience that gives you boundless opportunity to choose and re-choose your favorites among favorites. We have had nothing but compliments on the pieces we purchased, and if there was room for another rocker we would pick one up in a heartbeat.

The staff is always polite and welcoming. The showroom is clean and inviting. The furniture is, of course, unsurpassed in quality and craftsmanship. You're welcome to sit and assess to your heart's content. I can't think of anything that wasn't excellent hence - 5 stars.

The furniture is amazing, however the delivery and customer service after delivery was disappointing, especially given the cost of the white glove delivery. We had an admittedly challenging delivery; however we got an eye-roll when we told them we wanted the piece upstairs and the delivery staff left after less than 5 minutes of trying. We had to move it ourselves. We don't blame the company for the challenge, but the delivery is way too expensive for eye-rolls and almost no effort to help.

It is of high quality and they advertise sales during the holidays. I feel for the trees though is my hesitate to provide a review. The chairs can be described as curved with a Shaker style craftsmanship and the use of not completely rounded arms and legs but oval shaped. The pieces have a contemporary feel because he wood is sanded smooth and it is left unvarnished with only linseed oil working into the surface. I would save money and make a painting myself yet would buy a carved bench from Thomas Moser.

The only reason I am giving Thomas Moser two stars is that when our Harpswell chair finally arrived, the quality and beauty of it was outstanding. Thomas Moser is one of America's most celebrated cabinet makers, and their exquisite furniture reflects that. The people at Thomas Moser and their shipping company (Clark & Reid), however, did not work very closely with us with the shipping of our chair.

This was the third piece of furniture we ordered from Thomas Moser, and regrettably it will be the last. The whole delivery process was almost a total disaster. In a letter dated 10-27-2011, we were led to believe that our chair would not arrive until sometime in January 2012. Then someone at Thomas Moser made the decision to move the shipping date up almost 6 weeks without bothering to inform us.

This proved to be very disruptive in our personal lives. As of this posting, no one at Thomas Moser has given us a definite reason why this decision was made. The delivery was the most problematic I ever experienced with any furniture company. The problems were too numerous to mention here. The people at Thomas Moser should reevaluate the performance of the shipping company (Clark & Reid). In the future, we will do business with other high-end furniture companies that believe in working more closely with the customer.

Having a baby? skip the glider that you'll want to toss the minute the baby is walking. yes, these are more expensive, but i sat in many a rocker prior to investing in one of theirs and i have not once regretted the decision. it is beautiful and unbelievably comfortable.

Sublime, beautiful, perfect, poetic. I've matured from the ultra modern Bauhaus, LIMN, hard edged stuff to this. This is the real deal, exquisite, put it in your will, your grandkids will get it and give it to their kids level of furniture. I just saw the new line called Pasadena, I WANT THAT DINING TABLE AND CHAIRS! It seems expensive but this is the kind of furniture that you buy once and keep it forever. Thos. Moser furniture, it's the anti IKEA, Brittany Spears, Walmart, fast food, Paris (the skank not the city) Hummer, VH1 reality shows, disposable made in China crap, culture that has become America in the last 8 years.

Furniture so beautiful, so sculptural, so PERFECT, that I will not allow myself to enter the store for fear I might involuntarily smear myself all over the lounge chair and be forced to purchase it (which, now that I think of it, wouldn't be such a bad thing). If I were more experienced at woodworking, this is the kind of stuff I would want to create. Truly amazing!

Buyer beware of extended delivery dates. There seems to be a disjoint between the retailer and the shipping company which leaves the buyer in limbo. Moser says the delivery company will contact you.leaving you with no one to talk to. My experience has been a 4 week wait so far.someday, maybe I will enjoy the piece I purchased!

Grown-up furniture with grown-up prices! When I am grown up, I want to shop here. I want to have hand-crafted furniture for my beautiful San Francisco home that I purchased for a paltry $1,000,000. When I'm grown, I am gonna buy that beautiful end table and set it next to my Faberge Egg. The dining room chairs and table will go perfectly with my Swarovski crystal and Tiffany's bone China plates. In other words, I am not growed up yet.

Beautifully designed pieces impeccably crafted. Thought the pieces may be expensive, they have a lifetime guarantee and aesthetic that will transcend the decades of your life to come. The scalloped Aria chair is comfortable beyond belief. The price of the furniture is well out of reach for this teacher for now, yet well worth the cost when compared the the 3 or 4 inferior pieces you would otherwise have to buy in a lifetime.

The impeccable quality extends well beyond the furniture. These two teachers made it clear that we were not able to afford anything, yet were welcomed by a warm, elegant lady and told to try out everything and make ourselves at home. Furthermore, she sent us a Thank You note in the mail the next day. Her name is Jacqueline Thompson, and she will sell us our next piece of furniture, even if it is the smallest piece they offer. You have to start somewhere.

Very high quality, and very expensive. See their website at http://www.thomasmoser.com It's furniture that takes awhile to save for! Don't own anything from here yet, but we aspire to : For slightly cheaper cherry furniture that's also nice, see http://www.borkholder.com and http://www.vermontfurnituredesigns.com, www.maplecornerwoodworks.com, http://cherryponddesigns.com/. Everything Gourmet G. says is true. They were also helpful in referring someone who could refinish some of my own furniture.

When you're ready to replace the IKEA you purchased for your first apartment because you finally can afford to invest in some solid furniture that will last the rest of your life, this is the place to come. Nothing here comes off an assembly line. Every piece, most in cherrywood, is handcrafted to order, so wood grains are carefully matched, corners are joined properly, drawers slide smoothly, doors are hung accurately, and everything shines with a hand-rubbed finish. Finances may force you to buy one item at a time, but at least you'll know your first purchase will still be looking good when you bring the last one home.
