This company has always done a great job at assisting its customers. I've rented from them on multiple occasions and have never been done wrong. I would recommend their business to anyone looking for equipment that is of high quality and constantly maintained daily by the employees. I've personally had the privilege of talking to the young working men who work there and am impressed by the amount of maintenance and servicing they do day in and day out. Horrible place to rent equipment from. Equipment broke and after talking to other customers when dropping off it happened often for them as well.

Employees are nice and extremely helpful. Neither one of the guys that was there treated me like an idiot or weak because I'm a female. They treated me with respect and I appreciate not being treated like a person that doesn't know what their talking about because of my gender. Prices were fair and comparable to other stores offering the same services. Parking/drive in area are pretty rough and hard to navigate in a smaller size car.

I've rented things from far west rents before, and every time have been given great equipment at a fair rate. This time, to put in perspective how great it is, I rented a bobcat and grapple bucket on a very last minute notice, for a week. Today marks week one, and we've had one error, the entire week, and that was my guys running over barbed wire.

To top it off, they did a free job site repair for us, for a problem we caused. I rented a second bobcat the day prior from their 'big competitor' in rocklin. It's been 7 days as well, and we've had 6 on site service calls, and the unit has not functioned properly for even half the time. The bobcat from far west rents has ran non stop, the entire time we've been on site. Needless to say, even if I have to drive an extra 15 minutes, I'll definitely opt for far west rents any day.

We are new to town and needed to rent some equipment for the move in. Matt was extremely helpful and patient with our questions. Everyone there was so nice and I was really blown away with the amazing customer service. The prices are fair and the inventory is good.

Much more affordable than tool rental through any of the big box/home improvement stores. Guys there were helpful and quick to get me in and out the door. Highly recommend.

The staff is very helpful whenever I need to rent a piece of equipment for a household chore or get propane tanks filled. Don't waste your money on tank exchanges and get them refilled at Far West! The equipment I have rented is in great shape and no issues on start up.

Best rental yard in town. Super knowledgeable and helpful staff. You name it and they have it plus propane and concrete. The owner Matt Crawford always welcomes customers with a smile no matter how busy he is. It's great to support our family owned businesses in Lincoln and would never go anywhere else. Good people and equip. here. We never had any issues with anything we got. People know what they are talking about as well, can recommend what you need. Prices are fair too. We did a large job of 14 yards of concrete along with having to trench in various things and cut large blocks for a wall so we rented quite a few items from them. Would recomend highly.

Their rental equipment is always in good working order and competitively priced. I live in Lincoln and some of the places in Rocklin "seemed" to be cheaper but when you realize you are paying hourly to drive to and from the rental places it's a waste of time. Besides they have more flexible terms and cheap all day rentals too. They also take time to explain how to use the equipment most effectively, saving you time and costing them some of their profits, but they seem to truly want happy customers above extra earnings.

Their concrete trailers are like mini mixer trucks and work a lot better than the plane old dump trailers. They sell propane at great prices, and refill your own tank. It's far cheaper than the exchange places. When my son was doing a Service Project to earn his Eagle Scout Award they even donated the landscape supplies he needed and let us use a gas powered posthole digger at no charge as well. I have purchased many loads of landscape material for my yard and honestly can say they are a great local business.
