EnerGsmart Insulation

ENERGSMART Foam Insulation came highly recommended from my own contractor network, and from my very first meeting with Bob, it was obvious why. He really knows his stuff, and was able to point out things that other contractors missed. He was also able to secure some NYSERDA funding for our project of insulating our attic. The installers were very professional, respectful, and courteous. They did a great job and cleaned up well after themselves.

Guys were GREAT today! They were so quiet, so clean. Didn't track snow through the whole house and quietly went up the stairs and quietly shut the doors. I have two kids 2 and 3 years old who were both napping and they were so quiet they didn't even wake up! I really appreciate that.

Amazing experience with the EnerGSmart team for closed cell foam insulation in two crawl spaces plus rim joists in basement. Responsive office staff, and were quick to come for initial quote and adjust work scope to my budget and needs. Work was very well done, and the install crew were professional and efficient. I plan to use EnergSmart for my attic next year, and would strongly recommend to friends, family, and any random person who sees this on Google.

Found everyone I came in contact from Energsmart to be very professional and personable. The sales manager, Bob, was the most informative of all the three contractors I had come out to quote my job. The techs that did the work were polite and friendly. I had one small issue on my project and dealt with the owner John. He resolved it promptly and it's clear he cares about doing quality work and this mindset is apparent in his employees as well.

I'm finishing my attic and my job consisted of foaming roughly 1000 sq ft of attic roof/walls, and blowing cellulose into my first floor walls from the attic space above as my house is 1920's balloon framed and made easy access. I am a very particular when it comes to work getting done on my house and they have exceeded my expectations and while I'm certainly not hoping for winter to get here I can't wait to see what this does for my houses energy efficiency. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

Completed our job well. Professional behavior from the guys that installed the foam. Great product. Keeps our house a lot warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. We had our attic and basement rim done. Would recommend Energsmart.

I recently had the team from Energsmart to our house to insulate our basement with closed cell spray foam. The team was great. Bob did a great job answering my questions. The office worked with my tight schedule and made it happened. The crew came out on time, they were very professional, thorough, and cleaned up after themselves. Thank you! They weren't the cheapest quote but competitive. But I feel like I got what I paid for and I am very happy Daniel

We recently replaced our fiberglass insulation with spray foam and notice a difference already. Our master bedroom used to be the coldest or warmest room in the house depending on the season. It's so much more comfortable now! The staff at energsmart were knowledgeable and professional.

We hired Energsmart Insulations to insulate 2 sides of our house because of some rather loud neighbors. Their price was very reasonable, they even bumped our project date ahead of their schedule because of how loud they were. Once they started the project they found that all of our plywood between the siding and studs were beyond rotted. They even showed my wife and I that some of the siding was not even nailed to anything because of how bad the rot was.

They could of easily just injected the insulation under the rotted plywood but they told us they do not feel comfortable doing that because it would all torn our when we reside. We decided not to do the installation because of the unforeseen rotting issues and I really appreciated their honestly. They could of just did the work, put the siding back on and we would never have known the extend of the problem. Once we get our house resided I would definitely go with this company to insulation our home.

We were building out home and this type of insulation was not an option. We were able to convince the builder to use this product instead of the standard insulation. We were delighted with the results. Due to the fact that it was an extremely large home with two-story ceilings we should have had enormous heating bills. We did not. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I contacted Energsmart to see if I could have my common wall in my condo soundproofed. The salesman assured me that having tight pack cellulose insulation would provide that. I have a loud neighbor and I hear her constant yelling at her child. I was told that the insulation would not provide total soundproofing, it would make the noise from next door muffled. Iwould of been happy with that.

I had the wall going up the stairs, bathroom and kitchen walls that are the common wall insulated with high hopes. Then I heard my loud neighbor speaking to her child and it was like she was standing next to me. I emphasize talking-not yelling. I am SO disappointed in the process as it did not work. Not to mention the money spent for the process- $ 1, 380. That's a lot of money for no results. Don't let an insulation company tell you that insulating a common wall will decrease sound, because it will not work. Save your money or find a new place to live. Disappointed in West Seneca NY.

This company was terrible to deal with. Took over 2 weeks before they sent someone out to give an estimate. Bob Dion came out, the sales manager, nice guy, very informative, and I looked forward to doing business with them. My walls are all exposed to the studs and I wanted closed cell spray foam. I thought it would be a nice easy job, but I guess I was wrong.

I was never contacted back. I called Bob after roughly 1 week of his visit, and he never returned my call. So I called roughly 3 more times, and left voicemails every time. Still have not received a call. I called the company to complain, and they said " we will relay the message to the owner." I doubt the info made it to the owner seeing as I still have yet to hear back from this company. Very poor customer service, I would not / will never recommend this company to anyone.
