Wow is really the only way to express my experience with this company! From the start, Tina was incredibly helpful and understanding - her insight and input was invaluable! Alex and his team showed up to make the template for the counters and extended more time in the shop before cutting to offer design options. The granite is seamless and so gorgeous. Thank you all so very much for this incredible upgrade! No sales pressure whatsoever yet very attentive in fulfilling all the details of your project.

We had a truly horrible experience with Adirondack Precision Cut Stone. I'm have never written a negative review before, but the mistakes, lack of communication, and refusal to accept responsibility makes me want to warn others not to do business with this company. We purchased two granite remnants for bathroom vanities in two separate bathrooms. One vanity needed a sink, the other one was larger and only needed to be a slab for the counter.
We went with Adirondack because they said they would come out and template (another business wanted us to template ourselves which I didn't feel comfortable doing). Once we were ready to have the counters installed I contacted them by phone to have the templater come out. I had to call three times before my call was returned. I was told that they didn't have anyone to template so I should take measurements myself.
I did this and emailed them and again didn't hear back right away. Because of all the delays and the two different pieces of granite I wanted to be sure that they knew which one was for which vanity. They texted me pictures of each slab with captions about with and without sink-these images were correct. I was never told when the granite would be installed-even though I kept asking for a ballpark timeframe.
I know that everyone is delayed because of covid, labor shortages, etc so I was just looking for an estimate-not a specific date. I waited a month with no response about when the pieces would be installed. I called and left messages multiple times and emailed. Finally I said I would go elsewhere and wanted an immediate refund if I didn't hear back.
They called and said they'd install the granite that day. Unfortunately when the installer arrived the pieces were wrong-the piece that should've been larger and without a sink had a sink in it. We'd painted and decorated our bathrooms to coordinate with the granite we picked out for each room (they are quite different-one has reddish purple spots and the other one has greenish swirls).
The installer called the company and they said we'd changed the order to switch the granite-this was not true! We didn't want to refuse installation and wait months more for them to redo the pieces-we'd been living without a sink in our bathroom for months. But I emailed them to express my disappointment and see what they could do to make it right (redo and reinstall the pieces, offer a discount, even just an apology)-they never responded!

We purchased quartz counter tops from Adirondack Precision after a disastrous experience with Saratoga Marble & Granite. We were looking for something specific and were able to find similar slabs with Adirondack Precision. Unfortunately, the quality of the stone of the first 2 slabs we picked out wasn't good and both slabs crumbled after being cut.
Although the experience was frustrating and unfortunate, the way Adirondack Precision handled it made our experience very positive. They shipped slabs overnight from all over the place for us to look at and made it clear that there was no pressure to go with what they brought in. We found slabs that were different than our original and were of course more expensive, but Adirondack Precision worked with us on the price to ensure we were happy.
They did an excellent job completing and expediting the install and Julia made it clear that their goal was that we were happy. I honestly don't even remember what our original slabs looked like because I'm absolutely obsessed with what they found for us. The only regret I have is that we didn't go with them to begin with.

We had looked at a few other places prior to reaching out to Precision Cut Stone to replace the counters in our kitchen. They were far and above the most responsive and customer-focused company, and made us feel like we were valued as customers. From the first experience with them when Joe came to do an estimate, to working with Tina to get all our questions answered and our installation scheduled, we definitely felt like we were in good hands, and were immensely relieved! Tina was great, and was able to get our kitchen counter installation in quickly. Super pleased and highly recommend this local company! A+A+A+

A few years ago, we wanted to have a granite counter top put in our home, we went all over the area from Queensbury to and including the Albany area. our counter top was an odd shape with the sink in the middle. All of the other granite dealers said that they could make the counter top for us, but it would have to be in at least two or three sections. Knowing that my wife would be using the counter top to prepare food, we did not want any seams in the granite.
We finally went to the place nearest to us which was Adirondack Precision Cut Stone, and we met Alex, who was the person who oversees the cutting and fitting of the stone into the homes. Alex said that they could make the counter top in one piece, so we had him come to our home where he made the pattern for the counter top. We also had him make the back splash for it, along with the top of a half-wall which was more or less v shaped.
The cutting, placement and install went perfect for us, since then, we had them make a table top for us out of granite, they also constructed a surround for our gas fireplace, along with a granite hearth. all of these projects went without a single hitch, and one can feel free to make a contract with Adirondack Precision Cut Stone with just a handshake, but they can and will put it on paper if one wishes. Our continued thanks to Alex and all of the people at Adirondack Precision Cut Stone.
